I first have to say that Master & Dynamic put a lot of work into the MW60; even the packaging is superb! Initial impression of the box on the outside is pretty standard… But as soon as you remove that “skin” and take out the black box; oh man! The material and craftsmanship that they put into the packaging deserves a 10 out of 10 from me. I am a box guy so I know when a box is nice or not. My spouse and I got to experience the MW60 straight out of the box and we both agree that these are the best headphones we have ever used hands down.
The build quality of the MW60 is extremely nice. At first I thought these headphones were pretty heavy in my hand. But guess what? As soon as you put them on your head they are extremely comfortable and well balanced that you don’t even feel like it's heavy. The buttons are well placed and are very simple to use; pretty straightforward I’d say. The materials of cowhide, lambskin, and metals on this thing are a great combination; Master & Dynamic did an amazing job. When I first put the headphone over my ears I thought they were going to be narrow because I have big ears (so as my wife… don’t tell her I said that though!). After placing them on my ears, I can safely say that it's definitely not an issue; having big ears for the MW60 that is. I would also like to mention that I wear glasses and a lot of headphones get sort of uncomfortable. When wearing glasses with headphones, it typically feels like your head is being squeezed. I definitely did not experience this “squeezing” effect with the MW60. I enjoy that even when I remove one side and only have the MW60 partially on my head; it's still comfortable! Basically what I am trying to say is… It's comfortable.
Now to the sound quality… WOW! The sound quality is crisp and rich; extremely RICH! The vocals are clear. There’s a clear distinction between vocals and music; no “bleeding” effect here. The distance on the MW60 are also excellent. I had the pleasure of testing them around the house while leaving my cell phone in one area of my home. I never lost quality nor did I experience any sound skipping like you would typically get from traditional Bluetooth devices. This must be the antennas that MW60 use. If you have the chance to see the headphone in person; you’ll notice the antennas on the left ear piece. You’ll be able to notice it as it looks relatively similar to the one on the back of an iPhone (that's of course if you actually have seen the back of an iPhone, typically on the bottom). The antenna that the MW60 has does an amazing job and I am able to close doors and still hear clear music (no skipping) even though my phone is through a good 3-4 dry walls and 2-3 closed doors. I also had the opportunity of testing the microphone quality and its pretty good. The only thing I heard “bad” about it is that I sounded kind of far. But the sound that I was projecting from my voice was clear and beautiful! With all this great sound, Master & Dynamic states that the MW60 will last you approximately 16 hours.
To the accessories! Lets just first say that a good amount of time and cost has been put into the accessories. The cables included are nicely braided and have nice connectors. You essentially get 2 carrying cases; 1 for your MW60 and 1 for your cables. I like the fact that Master and Dynamic provided 2 carrying cases. The Sony’s that I have only come with 1 carrying case and I’m always afraid of scratching/damaging the headphone. The carrying cases are made of canvas. Although they are lightweight, they seem pretty durable. The only con/gripe that I have is that I wish the MW60 carrying case had a hard outer shell instead. If you’re an individual that is going to dish out the cost to buy something amazing like this; I would be extremely cautious of not damaging it. The ear cushions are extremely easy to change out or take off to clean. They are basically held by a magnet. These ear cushions are some high quality lambskin wrapped bad boys. They are comfortable and do everything they’re supposed to do without hurting you in any way, shape, or form.
In conclusion… Would I recommend these headphones? YES! Absolutely. As I mentioned, I’ve tested several headphones and the MW60 by Master & Dynamic currently takes the cake. Everything from the build quality down to the sound quality is amazing. Basically; the MW60 is both beautiful on the inside as it is on the outside. If you’re on the search currently for a new headphone, give the Master & Dynamic MW60 a shot; you won’t be disappointed.

Got kids? This is probably one of the most fantastic and awesome projects that you and your little one can do together (8+ marketed on the box, 6 and above is possible IMO). To be completely honest, my wife and I even enjoyed it together; my son loved it! If you have someone in mind that is interested in getting a Bluetooth speaker and is into music and sound, get them one of these.
The setup on this thing was not only simple; it was very enjoyable. Right off the bat when you open up the box, the quick start guides you to downloading the app on your iOS device. Sorry Android users, you won’t have the ability (currently as of 05/22/2017 and not sure if they’ll be compatible in the near future or not). The quick installation guide prompts you to download the app on the App store. Once you’ve downloaded the app; hold on tight cause it’s gonna be a fun and entertaining project. The tutorial/guide on the app is fantastic (good job BOSE!); it's simple to follow and it guides you through the entire process from A-Z. I don’t want to provide too much details because honestly it’s a fun experience and you’ll enjoy it; trust me!
So to the pros and cons. You’re probably wondering… You’ve been raving about this thing, aren’t you giving it a 5 out of 5? Honestly, I would personally have to give a 4 out of 5; let me explain. The sound on this thing represents BOSE, the sound quality is great and is crisp. Setup was fun and intuitive so no points knocked off there. The build quality on this thing is pretty nice, not too heavy and not too light and no fingerprints! The other customizations that you can do to this thing (silhouette, different colors, dancing/breathing of the colors, equalizer) are awesome. Now here comes the cons… This is solely based on my opinion. The first thing that made me knock off some points is that you can’t set this up on Androids. Sure it connects to an Android device to play music once it’s all built and put together, but you can’t do the initial fun stuff and setup through an Android. The only other thing I didn’t personally like is that when you customize the equalizer on the app, you can only utilize that function on music that is on your iTunes. What this means is that if you’re playing music on Pandora or Spotify for example those equalizer customizations don’t stick. This also happens even when you’re customizing the colors. BOSE still has a great equalizer preset and on the control panel you can adjust the dancing/breathing of the colors, but it sort of defeats the purpose of being able to really customize the thing like you can on the app itself. The last thing I don’t 100% agree with is the inability for this device to be portable. The BOSEbuild Speaker Cube is stationary and you have to keep it plugged in the whole time you use it. I only mention this because in this day and age everyone wants something portable for the most part.
Overall though, I would really recommend this product. As I mentioned initially, if you know someone that is interested in sound/music or you want to spend time with your kid(s); this thing is worth buying. It is honestly some good quality fun and the quality is not short at all in any way, shape, or form. BOSE has done an amazing job in creating this. Who wants just a simple nightlight for your children? Buy a BOSEbuild Speaker Cube so that they could use it as a night light, build it with you as a project, listen to music, and learn! This thing is an all in one. I hope after you read this review and you buy one; you’ll have as much fun as I did and enjoy it as much as I did.

I really enjoyed the packaging on the Lifeproof AQ10. The design/marketing personnel at Lifeproof really did an amazing job. What can I say? I’m a box guy… Not only was the packaging aesthetically pleasing, it also kept the AQ10 protected.
The material on the unit itself is made of heavy duty plastic/rubber silicon. If you’re worried about fingerprints; don’t be! It's quite heavy so if you’re looking to take this snowboarding or surfing with you on your hip; think again!
To pair the unit itself to a mobile phone; that was extremely easy and effortless. Setup was simple; you literally power on the device by holding down the power button and click on the Bluetooth button. Once you power on the device and click on the Bluetooth button; you simply look for the device “Lifeproof AQ10” on your mobile device and voila!
The sound quality is decent compared to other portable Bluetooth speakers that I have come across. It's definitely not the highlight of the AQ10. The AQ10 may sound “loud” but I feel like it’s missing the “surround” sound feeling. The highlight of the AQ10 is the durability and versatility. I tried the “float” option and guess what… IT FLOATS! That is awesome. None of the other Bluetooth speakers I have can do that. So the best part about this thing is being able to put it in the pool or even take it with you to the snowy mountains. You don’t have to worry so much about damaging the thing because it's basically built like a tank. Lifeproof has done an excellent job with keeping the actual Bluetooth speaker encased. You also have the option to charge your mobile device as well if you have the cables on you. The AQ10 is a speaker but it also has the ability to charge your mobile device when you need to. To be honest, the best thing I like about the AQ10 is the dry box. For all you folks out there that forget that you have cash, credit card(s), or your keys on you when your going swimming or something; you have the option to use the dry box by storing those personable items. Just make sure no one runs off with your speaker.
My issues are mainly with the sound quality. Again as I mentioned above; the AQ10 may sound loud but it certainly doesn’t produce the best sound. A major letdown (IMO) is the float option. You’re probably going wait… didn’t you say above that it's a highlight? Yes it is a highlight of the AQ10 because you can literally chuck it into the pool and it’ll float. My main complaint is that when it's floating in the water, the speaker is facing into the water… What this means is that you don’t really get to hear whatever it is you’re trying to listen to. The sound comes out the front of the speaker so there isn’t much sound that comes out of the back; if any. So if you’re trying to listen to music at the beach (in the water) as an example; all the sharks, fishes, and sea creatures will hear it except everyone else above the water.
In conclusion, I enjoy the aesthetics of the device itself. I like the “tankiness” of the unit. But I feel like the unit as a speaker itself falls short. Would I recommend this? I would say do some research and see if you can view one in person. If you enjoy the brand Lifeproof then I’m sure you’ll enjoy this device as well. But if you have something comparable like a waterproof Bluetooth speaker with better sound; I may skip on this. But this is all based on my personal opinion. Some individuals may enjoy it more than others; I would still give it some thought.

First off let me say, the setup was really easy and self explanatory (you basically just snap the handle into place). The fill tank has indication marks for water and solution. Not only does it have indications, it also gives you the option of needing to clean a lot of space or just minimal space. Once you fill it up with warm tap water and the solution; you’re ready to go! The SpinWave comes with 2 regular soft touch pads and 2 powerful scrubbing pads for your tough messes.
With the minimal fill, I was able to clean my kitchen, the landing at the front door, and the bathroom. My apartment is approximately 1050 square feet. First off, the cleaning of the kitchen and landing were wonderful! Once you power on the SpinWave, it literally just glides across your floor (effortless!). It kinda felt like playing bumper cars with a mop.... Except you weren’t bumping cars and instead bumping everything else in your house; I mean it in a very fun way by the way. After you’re done cleaning, the area smells clean thanks to the cleaning formula that Bissell crafted.
Now here comes the con… Of course right? My issue was when I cleaned the bathroom. Now, it may be because the bathroom has the most dust since we have the window open all the time. But normally when I clean with a Swifter Sweeper (wet); it picks up majority of the dust. For the SpinWave, it looked as if it just kind of clumped the dust up into little balls and spun it everywhere. So after using the SpinWave, I had to use a wet solution and paper towels to clean up the dust balls; an extra step basically. But like I said, it could’ve been because my bathroom is more dusty than everywhere else. But I was hoping it would’ve caught the dust though instead of spinning it around and shooting it everywhere.
Cleaning up was extremely simple. You just empty the tank (if you have any leftover solution) and remove the pads. You can then throw the pads into your laundry machine to wash.
In conclusion, I thoroughly enjoyed the SpinWave. For the most part, it did a fantastic job. My floors feel really clean now (even with the dust situation in the bathroom). Would I recommend it? I would consider it if you’re shopping around and don’t want to use the traditional mop or a Swifter Sweeper. It was honestly enjoyable and kinda fun; I think my mother would really enjoy the SpinWave because the way it glides effortlessly throughout the floor.

No fingerprints yay! The material that Sony used on this soundbar is quite nice. The design of it also fits perfectly with my entertainment setup at home. The setup of the Sony HT-MT300 was extremely simple. Without looking at the setup instructions (although I’d advise you to if it's your first time setting up a soundbar), I was able to get everything plugged in and up and running within minutes. Another recommendation is that if you’re planning on setting up the subwoofer underneath your couch; I would look at the instructions. The subwoofer can be placed either vertically or you could use the speaker pads that are included to have the subwoofer be placed horizontally.The whole system itself is definitely compact and a lot smaller compared to the LG soundbar I had previously. But ladies and gentlemen... DO NOT be fooled by its size! Sony again delivers a quality product to its electronics line. It performs well and the sound quality is excellent. I tested out the Bluetooth pairing and it was also easy to do. I love the fact that there were no sound skipping/stuttering at all in playing music with this soundbar. The difference I had was that the LG soundbar would ALWAYS skip music, even when my phone was right next to the soundbar… I did not experience that with the Sony HT-MT300. The Sony HT-MT300 has a couple of sound functions to choose from like music, movie, clear audio+, Dolby DRC function, voice, and night. It doesn’t seem to have as many as the LG soundbar I had but Sony has done an impressive job on getting the ones programmed “fine tuned”. I was able to play some music and test the difference out between selecting the sound functions of music versus movie (which it actually sounded better on the music setting of course). Then I went around and tested the difference by watching a movie and selecting the sound setting of movie versus music. The point I am trying to make is that sometimes those sound features don’t really make a difference; with the Sony HT-MT300 it did.
Now comes the cons of the product; of course these are my opinions but I feel like I would need to share them with you. I personally feel like the Sony HT-MT300 is lacking a built-in digital display screen. Let me explain why. When you change your volume, or subwoofer level, or sound function; wouldn’t you want to know how high, how low, or if the setting you're changing is on or off? Because it doesn’t have a built-in digital display screen and doesn’t show on my TV what is going on when I am changing the settings on the soundbar; it can get a little frustrating. Even when changing sound functions by holding down a button on the remote, you would need to reference the operating instructions every time to make sure you’re doing it correctly and if it's on or off. Then you’re like wait.... Can’t you just use the APP (SongPal) that Sony has to offer? I downloaded the APP to try and resolve this “con” I had on the product. While it did show certain things being changed like the subwoofer level and what sound settings are on/off; I had huge issue(s) with the APP itself. When adjusting the volume on the remote for the soundbar and my iPhone had the APP installed and paired; it would also adjust the volume and ringer volume on my phone. I even tried closing out the APP on the phone but it still linked up and adjusted the volume on my phone when I was adjusting the volume on the remote for the soundbar. This made it extremely inconvenient because the only way around this is that I would have to disable my Bluetooth in order for it to stop syncing up with the soundbar. I keep my Bluetooth enabled because I have things like a Fit-bit that is always tracking everything I do and syncing and transferring data to my phone. The only other issue I had with the soundbar is the volume. Again since I couldn’t distinguish what my volume was; I didn’t know how loud my volume was. When switching between streaming T.V. on my Roku, Netflix, and streaming a movie from my phone; the volume was different between all of them. What I mean by that is I was watching T.V. with my Roku and decided to try out a movie and the volume was SO MUCH LOUDER when switching from T.V. to a movie; I literally scared my pregnant wife and she jumped up off the couch. I would also like to mention that I saw another review that someone stated the sound was out of sync when watching a movie on Netflix; I personally did not experience this at all.
In conclusion, I would definitely recommend this product if you’re on the market looking for a soundbar to go with your T.V. I personally feel like the pros I had with the Sony HT-MT300 outweigh the cons. The sound quality on this thing is amazing and it adds a nice punch when you’re watching an action movie. Even if you’re just streaming music it sounds excellent. If you have guest over; they will be wowed. Compared to the LG soundbar I had; the Sony HT-MT300 definitely performs better. The only thing I wish is that Sony would’ve added a built-in digital display screen. If that built-in digital display screen was there; this product would’ve gotten a 5 out of 5 or a 10 out of 10 from me personally.

Initial Impression
- Outer box looks pretty standard (for you box lovers out there like me); thumbs down
- Inner “housing” of the headphones has a very nice interesting material. It feels great when you touch it and it gives the product a “quality” aspect. I LIKE THAT!
- Headphones have a nice weight to them. They feel sturdy and the material on the headband feels nice. I didn’t like the feel or quality of the plastic connecting to the ear pieces though. Maybe perhaps if it was the same material as the headband all the way around? Nonetheless, it does feel sturdy though; just wished it wasn’t such light plastic. Ear cushions feel really nice. They’re soft and have “memory foam” like material on the inside. Buttons on the ear pieces are distinguishable and easy to use.
- Pouch is a very nice material, feels very soft and non “scratchy” for your headset. Unfortunately, mine had a hole in it… So be on the lookout when you get yours. If you don’t care so much about the pouch then I guess it doesn’t matter but if you’re someone like me, I’d care!
- Some info from Sony: Sony states: Noise cancelling – Industry leading digital noise cancelling cuts out ambient noise and adapts to your environment so you can hear more of the detail in every track. Setup/Testing/Conclusion
- Alright ladies and gentlemen, this is what you've been waiting for. So here are my thoughts. Setup was EXTREMELY PAINLESS!!! I did the setup first on my iPhone and it connected perfectly fine. No issues at all. I downloaded the app and the app basically did everything its supposed to do. I was even able to test out the functionality of the app like Surround (VPT) *this is the different EQs you can change it to like arena, club, etc*, extra BASS, and toggling on and off the noise cancellation feature. Everything worked as expected and was honestly kind of fun to be able to customize the way I listen to music. Next setup I did was on an Android phone and it was just as easy! I used the NFC (near field communication) to connect the headset and it worked flawlessly. So if you know how Google Wallet or Apple Pay works, you'll be right at home. You have the same functionality as the iOS app. OH! You also get to check battery life on the app which is neat. So the testing, well lets just say that the sound quality on these are AMAZING! I love them. If you're looking for clear audio, awesome bass, and nice all around music to your ears; I'd definitely give these a try. The only issue* I had with these is that they feel kinda "big". Also, maybe because my ears are huge; they got quite uncomfortable after long periods of listening. I also wear glasses so maybe that's a contribution? I had a couple co workers with different size ears to try them out and they said the exact same thing. So maybe its just us folks in California? I had my spouse try them out and she enjoyed them. The only issue* she had was that she can hear a weird VERY LOW static in the sound. I personally did not experience this nor did my co workers. So maybe my spouse is "hearing things" if you know what I mean. But if you also hear it... Then maybe my co workers and I are the crazy ones. The active noise canceling works great! I texted them in an office environment and at a home environment. So if you're listening to music you can basically expect not to hear anyone around you. If music is not playing or is not as loud, you can faintly hear some other individual(s) around you. But to be honest, I enjoy the noise canceling feature; its quite neat! I love the bass. Sony advertised BASS and I can tell you, there is BASS. I didn't even turn it up max in the app, just at +5 out of +10. My music wasn't even at max. Just for giggles I did +10 for base and max on music and WOW! You can feel the power, lets just say that. If the battery does in fact last 22 hours, that's pretty wonderful. Lets be real, you're gonna end up charging them mid-next day anyways when you're not using them. If you're wondering why I knocked off a star, for me personally (my opinion); its because they were not 100% comfortable for me. But again, that could be because I have big ears and wear glasses.

First Impressions, Boxing, What’s included?
Packaging and design is wonderful. I love the design of the box and the way the front has a “magnetic” mechanism to open and close. Some packaging I’ve gone through is quite annoying and you even end up tearing the box sometimes! This is from the perspective of someone that really likes their boxes and packaging so it’s my opinion. But if you’re someone like me, you’ll definitely appreciate the way this thing is packaged. The internal design of the box is great because it’s “cut” and “grooved” a certain way for each content within the box. Talk about “shipping” resistant! So what’s included? You get the 3 nodes of course, each one is well vented for heat dissipation. On the bottom of each node, you have a reset button, 12VDC power adapter connection, a power switch, and 2 Ethernet ports. You also get to receive a nice thin flexible Ethernet cable. What I would’ve liked to see here is perhaps 2 extra Ethernet cables only because I like to have hard wired connected PCs as opposed to everything running on Wi-Fi. So that would’ve been nice. After the Ethernet cable (on the back) you will find the legal disclaimer/warranty/technical support pamphlet. Once you get to read through that (if you want to) you see the setup guide. The setup guide is literally a card with 3 basic steps. I must say, this card is even nice material that I enjoy. Under the setup guide are your 3 AC power adapters.
Testing/Setup - Conclusion
So I did some serious speed test before and after the Velop. Here are my results and findings... If you compare it to your traditional routers that are currently on the market, it makes a huge difference. The reason why? You get a crazy 6,000 sq. ft. coverage as well as top notch speeds. But how does it compare when you match it up against its class of "unique" routers? Well, I'm gonna have to say its just on par. When compared to the rival of a router like Netgear Orbi, the only difference is the extra 2,000 sq. ft. coverage. The speeds are pretty much the same. BUT, if you're looking to find a router that can handle the range and speeds, Linksys Velop does not fall short. Setup was quite simple, you do everything on the mobile APP. The issue(s) I had were the functionality of some of the features on the APP. Honestly, it got quite annoying at one point that I had to call Linksys customer support and things just got worse. The 2 main issue(s) I had were the prioritize optimization (where you select your 3 devices of which ones get the fastest speeds) and the channel optimization. But looking past those issue(s), the setup and APP were definitely nice that the Orbi didn't have. One major issue (hardware wise) that I didn't like, each Node only has 2 Ethernet ports. So if you're someone like me that has 4-5 different things hooking up to the main router, you'll want those extra Ethernet ports. What I would've liked to see were perhaps 5 Ethernet ports on one of the nodes and the 2 on the other wouldn't bother me so much. Would I recommend this product? You bet. If you're searching for an update to your current router and internet setup at home, check out the Linksys Velop. I'm sure Linksys are making improvements to the current issues as I mentioned above and are going to make the APP even better. It'll just take time as with any other APP released.

- No AC adapter for charging. Makes it a bit inconvenient for charging if you don't have a USB port available

TESTING/SETUP:
Alright, taking out all the components of the box was not hard/difficult at all. Assembling it was also really simple, especially with the easy to follow quick start guide. Some assembly is required (no tools needed though). After setting it up, I was ready to test it out on my carpet. Unfortunately, I don't have hard wood floors to test out the Hero but I used it in my kitchen (which obviously isn't carpet). I really like this vacuum cleaner. My carpet made those nice deep vacuumed marks where the vacuum ran across. Compared to my older dirt devil, this Shark blows it out of the water. While testing it in my kitchen, it picked up any crumbs and food pieces with ease. You can adjust the suction power at anytime and you can also click some buttons located on top of the vacuum pod and you can do the Lift-Away. This is extremely convenient for people that have stairs or want to be a bit more mobile as opposed to using a traditional vacuum cleaner. The things I like about it most is that it does a great job in cleaning, does not spread any dust in the air from what I've noticed, has lights in the front to show what you're about to pick up, and is functional to your liking (Lift-Away). Being that the unit itself is pretty flat on the actual vacuuming end, you can get those hard to reach places with ease. Personally, I don't really have any complaints at this time to be honest. My wife tried it out and she said it was a bit heavy but of course, that's her personal opinion and preference. I personally don't feel like its that heavy. Also, its really easy to maneuver in my opinion. Cleaning it was a breeze as well. Emptying the tank can be done by a click of the button on the bottom. There's another button on top to release the top cap of the tank to clean as well. You have filters once you remove the tank and that can be easily cleaned as well. You can even pop the vacuuming portion open to remove the brush-roll and clean out any hair easily with the click of 2 buttons.

Setup/Testing/Usage:
Alright. This is what everyone's been waiting for. So, first impressions as far as comfortability goes; it fits right and feels good on your ears. Setup was extremely easy. I got it paired to both my Android device as well as my iPhone. I like the fact that on the iPhone, you can see the battery bar next to the Bluetooth logo on the top right. Sound right off the bat sounds good; crisp, clean, and clear. Bass is nice for sure though, it has a nice "oomph". The material that is holding the 2 ear pieces (where it goes on the back of your neck) can do this rubbing thing on your clothing. It kinda gets a little annoying if you're moving your head from left to right. As far as the noise cancellation goes though, it is definitely great. So that means, make sure you workout without a shirt! I tested out the calling capability and I have to say, I am impressed. I called several people and all of them said my voice is clear, crisp, and easy to hear. The microphone is located on the right ear piece. As far as charging goes, it took me about an hour and a half. I've been using it for about an hour or a little more and the battery icon is still full. But I'm sure it'll go down to probably 75 percent at once, at least that is what happens to my other Bluetooth devices that have the capability of tracking the battery on an iPhone (75%, 50%, 25%, dead). As far as controls go on the right ear piece, its not the easiest to press. Its definitely not the hardest to press. What I mean is, because the buttons are located on back of the ear loop that goes around your ear; you sometimes end up folding your ear in half. This is because you need something to grip as you're pushing the buttons. Once you get accustomed to it though, you may be able to hold the actual loop and then push the buttons instead of your ear. The thing I like by the way is that its water resistant so that you can give them a good wet wipe down. I mean... When you workout, you're bound to build up sweat on these. So having then water resistant is nice for a easy clean up.
Conclusion:
I would definitely recommend these if you're looking into purchasing a new wireless headset. They fit really comfortable and don't really bother you while you're doing what you need to do. The only thing I don't like as I mentioned is the cable that goes on your back neck. When you move a certain way it makes a weird "friction" noise and it can get quite annoying. But overall, if you can see past that; these are excellent. I gave it 4 out of 5 stars because of that "issue". The sound quality for music and calling is fantastic though. So for me, I can see past that "rubbing friction issue". Sony, keep doing what you're doing and just make that "small" improvement.

Hello Raymon, not at all. The Google Home app is free to download. All you need is to plug this thing in to an outlet and download the Google Home app.

Will you be able to take a phone call on this? I.e., do the mics function as a phone mic?
Hello Jordan, as of current no. You can't make phone calls either. When you try and tell Google Home to do anything that has to do with phone calls currently, it says it can't do that right now. So maybe Google will release that feature in the future? Not sure though...

Hello CRC, no it does not need to be set up with your cell phone provider. All you need is a compatible device and a way to download the Google Home APP to set it up.
