Cool speaker for outdoor adventures

I got this speaker as a gift and it is cool and simple to use. It's about the size of my palm, and comes with a auxiliary cord in case you don't want to sync your phone with the Bluetooth capability.
Behind the speaker there's a twist off cap like the lid of a jar that hides the AUX port, and USB port (so that you can utilize the speaker as a portable charger), and the power level LED lights with a button so that you can see the levels of battery.
I've used this while working out in the yard, at the lake, on a river float and at my desk at work. This small speaker could use more bass but that's a compromise I'm willing to forgive because I have other Bluetooth speakers that have the bass I need. I wanted something compact, and easy to use where I could toss it in a bag and with a push button start.
It works just as imagined, once it's synced with Bluetooth I hit the power button and I can control the volume of the music from the speaker which has been a downfall in the past with waterproof speakers from other brands.
A good little purchase if you want something that's loud for outdoor sports and within a good price point.
The one downfall for me is that when the volume is low it's hard to hear the music playing and the jump from low to just a little higher in volume is awkward so I have to adjust the volume on the device I'm streaming music from but otherwise a thumbs up!

Plug and Play with awesome sound

First the downfall, you need an optical connector for you to be able to use it.
This sound bar works like no other, it's sound is truly crisp and the bass is adjustable based on the room size and it works awesome! I liked it so much I bought two: one for our master and one for another bedroom in the home. I wouldn't suggest this for a home's living room tv but I am sure it would be awesome in an apartment living room like a college students apartment.
It comes with a universal remote that you can program to use with your tv, cable and the sound bar. I like it a lot but I still find myself using the cable provider's remote which is also programmed with the sound bar. In the past I've had sound bars where you have to use the remote that comes with the device because it's not programmable with your tv or cable box. So that's a plus side for this Bose sound bar.
This was my first Bose theatre product to buy which then lead us to buy the surround sound for our living area. That's a whole other monster in itself and it is AWESOME!!!

Is there a 10 star option?

I have used Apple computers all my life, I had the tangerine iMac, the blue laptop, a white laptop in high school and my iMac that got me through college which I still have. I recently had my computer diagnosed to make sure it was running smoothly and with over 5000 pictures, and 23 days worth of music on my computer the Apple tech agent said I hadn't even used half of my memory.
It runs amazingly quick and streams videos quickly. My favorite part was having an external hard drive with the lightning port which helps move files quicker. I wish more companies would adapt this because it processes items quicker than a USB cord.
It came with a mouse but I prefer the track pad which you have to purchase separately but it's well worth it.
The batteries for the keyboard and trackpad (which have to be charged) last a long time so that shoudn't be a concern.
I love the display and I've seen the larger one, this one is perfect but if you can and it's a NEED, go ahead and get the larger screen!
At work I use Microsoft platform products but it's such a relief to come home to my Apple computer because it runs so much smoother and has no reandom hiccups. If you're reading this and on the fence of whether or not to try the Apple computer try it out at the retail locations and enjoy. You won't be disappointed.

Makes my iPad a laptop

I bought this keyboard months ago because I wanted to have a Apple laptop like I've had in the past but I just didn't see the need for it with my iMac desktop and two iPads so I figured I could try and make my iPad Pro my version of a laptop.
If you're searching for a cool keyboard that works with ease this is it. It has a long battery life, which charges quickly if you need to recharge it. It has a backlit keyboard which has different dimming options, and you can change the orientation of how your iPad sits on the keyboard. I've used this for flights and it works amazingly. I was able to type up short passages, watch shows and in a instant close the keyboard and iPad which comes with it's own case.
Definitley suggest this as a cool gift for a traveler, a compact keyboard for home use or a student in college who doesn't have the need for the cd-rom of the past.

Tough set up for my house but worth it

This little gem was connect with my Linksys EA9500 which we got for our Gigabit internet in our neighborhood. This MaxStream product is awesome. Songs downloaded in 24 seconds whereas before it took about 2 minutes for songs to download on my old router.
The downfall here is optimizing the 5Ghz download speed because it's hard to link the ISP's router to the MaxStream product.
Get past that part though and on the 2Ghz network which is awesome you still get super fast processing. I'm amazed. I just keep loading different pages to try and trip but how fast this extender allows my to get internet on the second floor of our home.
Cool features include optimizing the best location for your extender so that you get the best use out of the pair (router and extender).
The staff at Linksys were patient enough to walk me through the steps and double, triple check that I was set up correctly. I am a tech savvy guy and I hate being dependent on tech support but it was a good experience and that's why I gave it a five star when I would have normally done a three or four.
So overall, make sure to set it up right for best use and if you can't get it solved call the company because they will walk you through it! Oh and you just plug-and-play with this little guy. No wires, just plug it into the wall, start the set up and you're golden.

Fun & Simple to Use

Just got this Acer tablet and so far so good. My favorite part about it is the back which is textured in the back and has a little bit of a grip which makes it feel rugged. If you've had other tablets that have metal backs like me I always fear that it's going to slip out of my hands. So for me that's perk one of five.
Two is that it is ready to run and start surfing the web right out of the box, I did find that it made me set up my username twice once for Acer and the other time for Playstore downloads but that's a one time thing and I haven't encountered that again.
The camera on the back is awesome and takes crystal clear pictures, I am going to post a picture of my table and some fixtures just as a example but the front facing camera like other tablets needs work. I wasn't such a fan of that part.
Three would be the HD quality screen, processing time of videos and loading media which was fast. I have found that sometimes apps on my android devices takes time to load but I watched a video about Orcas and the video quality is amazing; the water rippling on the screen almost felt like I was on the boat while these guys were being chased by Orcas in the ocean! I can't believe I get such clear quality and high definition video but a small down fall is the speaker system which is way to novice but being that I watch videos with my earphones on so the whole world doesn't have to hear my shows I can get past that part!
Four and Five i'll put together and it's the fact that I could extend the memory with the added MicroSD slot and the built in Iconia suite of apps. My favorite being the EZ Note app which you can make notes with the tip of your finger instead of needing a stylus and there's a part of the app where you can load a page that looks like notebook paper and take notes that look like they came from a spiral notebook.
I'd say the design of this tablet was aced and I really like the moving backgrounds. It's definitely a must have for someone who wants a tablet with basic essentials but isn't willing to forfeit quality because this Iconia One is great. One last thing, the 10 inch screen made it seem like it was going to be heavy but with all the perks built into it this tablet is light and will be easy to carry around with me to work, home and travel.

Internet loads faster than I can type this

Upgrading from my Linksys dual band router to the tri-band has been awesome! With 15+ devices in our house running on wifi it gets tough sometimes when multiple devices are trying to share the same connection and use streaming services like music or tv.
Setup was a cinch and literally the three steps of: plugging it in, connecting your ethernet cord and entering my password from the factory manual. Porting over and using the same profile I have built with Linksys on the website was super cool. It recognized my name and devices which was cool.
Adding the wifi extender in the next day or so and I'm interested to see how it fairs in a two story home. My current extender goes out now and then so i'm glad to be giving the Linksys version a try since I loved the dual band router and got the tai-band now! Oh on a side note their packaging was cool, i'm like every other customer out there that loves opening new things and it was easy to open, easy to unpack and didn't come with a instruction manual with hundreds of pages. I like minimal and this router sits flush on my furniture and it isn't an eyesore. Thumbs up purchase here!

Good but not the best

I've had my share of headphones and there's a reason for my loyalty to the other brand I use. I remember when Monster and Beats were one company and those earphones that they put out were amazing. However, these are no where near as good as the wired noise eliminating headphones in the same price range. If the other company made wireless headphones I'd probably take these back. Otherwise, they are a nice color, the fit is alright. I didn't like the bud that it came with so I used one of the other options and it was super easy to charge and sync up. I like them but not the best.

For the person who loves tech-things and just wants to add another little gadget to their automated home initiative! It's so interesting how it can recognize other devices so that it can automatically upload your pictures and save it here while also working as a interesting conversation started of a picture frame! I plugged it in the night I purchased it and it got to work immediately uploading pictures from my phone. My only qualm is that the phone can't be locked while uploading so you have to put it in a mode to keep it from going to sleep. Otherwise it's a pretty cool device where I can pull up my pictures from elsewhere. I hope more updates are going to be released because I am sure there is more this little guy can do.

Watch out competitors

I have had the router for a week now and it is so much faster than the other router we have which we got because it went with our mp3 players, laptops, computers and tablets of the same brand!
I live in a two story home and we had to purchase an extender with the other router to be able to get access to wi-fi. With the Linksys it reaches all the way to the upstairs rooms with ease. I live in an area with internet so fast you are supposed to be able to download music albums in seconds and with the previous router it took seven minutes on average. With the Linksys router my latest album I downloaded took 10 seconds and I am not exaggerating. Before I could drop my jaw while watching it download at lightning speed the download for an album with 15 songs as done! That has never happened. That itself is reason enough to purchase this.
Another awesome feature is the application you can download so that you can control and delegate which items in your home get faster speeds than others. There's also the guest network feature where you can give people who visit your home or business a separate log in than what you and your family uses (I love that because you never know what is taking up the speed of your internet).
I've been a loyal fan of the previous router and owned different versions but I am so happy to have veered off the path and gotten this Linksys router!
If you are a techie who loves having everything connected to the wifi even if it's just your game console you should invest in this little guy.
It's super sleek and blends very well. Again the only downside is that sometimes it processes things with a hiccup but it catches up quickly and that only happens now and then. I don't think that's reason enough to not try it out! Cheers!
