I could not get device on my WiFi network, all attempts to setup wireless via https://192.168.203.1 failed on 4 different devices (phone, 2 laptops, desktop) My ISP router is set to a high security profile but other devices such as Chromecast & Fire Stick don’t have any problems connecting and I’m not willing to lower router security settings if that’s the cause. Another issue is the USB receiver is pretty wide, so could not connect it to main Samsung TV due to tight configuration of HDMI ports.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

A better mouse 4 office tasks

The Logitech M650 is very comfortable for users with small – medium hands, it is light weight and has customization options on buttons. This product would be good the work at homes folks or someone who wants an affordable decent mouse.
Setup went smooth with the thing being easy to packaging (had to mention this since so many are hard to open) by just pulling the plastic down from the arrows on top. You have two options to connect the mouse, with Logi Bolt USB wireless receiver that works with MacOS, Windows, Linux and Chrome OS devices that have a free USB-A port. Second option is to connect to devices via Bluetooth (iOS, iPadOS and Android devices are supported via Bluetooth). I connected via Bluetooth with it connecting very quickly without any issues to Windows 11. Instructions are easy to follow as you download the driver from Logitech.com/OptionsPlus.
First impressions were good with the soft materials and mouse ergonomics, it felt good in my hand so long time work sessions are very comfortable. Having the option to customize buttons via the app is a great feature. An example of this: I use cut and paste a lot, it's more convenient to do it from the mouse. You can also switch from line-by-line precision scrolling via wheel to fast scrolling (something I use for large spread sheets) also the fact that this mouse is much quieter than last one when it comes to click noise thanks to Logitech SilentTouch technology.
There's no plug-in for rechargeable battery here, It runs on a regular single AA battery that comes with the mouse and has a 2 year life span. Overall, this a decent mouse, aimed at the productivity user needing a workhorse rather than for gaming; for that I use a corded G403 Hero.

I’m in a location that suffers from smoke due to forest fires a lot and have allergies, so originally got a smaller air purifier which yielded good results, to my surprise. Since I was impressed with the small one, got a larger Insignia Air Purifier for the living room. This air purifier very easy to operate, is a good choice for improving your indoor air quality and avoiding health issues that come from indoor air pollution.
When I first opened the box really liked the design of unit since it matches with the décor, has handles on the sides to easily move it and came with detailed instructions. The big display in front is convenient which shows current air quality by color indication (Green = good, Orange = bad), plus filter life. Unit is designed for rooms as large as 497 sq. ft. The HEPA-certified filter removes allergens, mold, dust, pet dander, smoke and pollen that captures 99% of particle pollution in the air, removing irritants and improving visibility. You have an option of 4 fan speed modes to select how quickly air is purified and a timer up to 12 hours. There is also a child lock feature that prevents accidental setting changes.
While in auto mode it detects air quality and sets fan speed according to how bad it is, so no kind of complicated method to operate it. Just turn it on and let it run, also the optional timer that shuts off automatically is nice too. The device would detect smoke & odor then run the fan at higher speeds which got rid of both in around 20 minutes. I also notice that my allergies have decreased along with dust accumulating on the furniture in the living room.
This air purifier is good all-around with it being simple and works well with cleaning indoor air. I should have bought one these years ago.

Best for High Resolution Audio /w LDAC enabled

I own numerous true wireless earbuds and the Soundcore - by Anker Liberty 3 Pro produces the best sound for Hi-Res Audio out of all of them on services that have it like Apple Music, Amazon Music Unlimited and Tidal, although this is not out of the box as you need to adjust some settings, but only is slightly better when it comes to music services with only standard audio. (Pandora & Spotify) The Liberty 3 Pro offers impressive sound quality, good Bluetooth connection, strong Active Noise Cancellation, and great battery life.
On setup you need to place ear buds in case to turn on, update firmware and in my case, charge then you download the app which prompts you to create an account. After that it informs you to update firmware. (Firmware will not update if battery life is under 20%) I wanted to try out the much-hyped HearID feature which I was skeptical about. HearID Sound analyzes the way in which you hear music in order to create a personalized sound profile that’s tailored precisely to your ears. It can also be applied to all your favorite EQ settings for more customization. Also, HearID settings can be used to optimized Active Noise Cancellation, what it does is perform a hearing test on each ear with tones. Then I selected LDAC codecs for the best Bluetooth quality Note: choosing this option will shorten your battery life.
Sound quality on Amazon Music Unlimited is excellent with the HearID settings (this feature seems to work well) and I was quite impressed with the tracks that played in HD, Ultra HD and Dolby Atmos. Sound was crisp with dynamite range and good bass response but not distorted. I did try all the other sound options: EQ setting (presets and manual) and 3D Surround option (seems more like a gimmick to me as this mode did not impress) with HearID settings being the best out of the two. Since I wanted to compare regular standard audio against HD, I played Bob Marley’s “Is This Love” on Amazon in Dolby Atmos compare with a standard version of the same song on Pandora (to give better context here Pandora streams music in 192kbps AAC VS Amazon’s 24bit / 192kHz FLAC) with the Doby version being noticeably better. While playing the same song in standard version when comparing the Soundcore against an affordable competitor on both earbuds, the Soundcore was only a little bit better. The Liberty 3 Pros have hi-res wireless certification, thanks to support for the LDAC codec. My Google Pixel 6 supports LDAC and many other Android phones, but Apple does not. When you don’t use the LDAC option and select the normal the AAC codecs with HD, Ultra HD, Dolby Atmos music and then compare Liberty 3 Pro with other Non-Hi-Res lower priced earbuds from Sony and Google. The Liberty 3 Pro’s do sound better but not by much just not a dramatic difference, and I tried multiple songs from various music gernes from Tyler the Creator to Radiohead.
These earbuds felt a little awkward in my ears when it comes to fit at first and are less comfortable and heavier than others I’m used to, but after a couple of days I did get use to them. Touch controls, ANC & Muti-Mode Transparency features seem to work well. Call quality is good with unit having Multipoint Connectivity that can simultaneously pair 2 devices and store up to 7 devices within the Soundcore app to change between multiple audio sources. IPX4 rating certifies protection from exposure to sweat & water. Battery life is 8 hours from the earbuds. (32 hours total with case) with 15 minutes quick charge that gives 3 hours of play time.
If you listen to Hi-Res stuff and want the best audio quality in this price range then this is a good choice especially since other Hi-Res compatible earbuds are priced much higher, but Spotify users don’t have HD options yet and standard music does not really blow me away on these earbuds with if not sounding much better than current mid-range earbuds, although Spotify HiFi with HD music is coming out this year so Spotify users who want good HD quality sounding earbuds in the future is where the Liberty 3 Pro excel at.

I live in area where forest fires are common so smoke from that does affect the household at times, also I suffer from allergies. Owning an air purifier makes sense and TCL offers models with the highest True HEPA ratings in all Breeva Air Purifier units to ensure better, fresher air for users.
The air purifier has a sleek, modern design that is quiet and feature a three-step purification system, eliminating up to 99.97% of microbes to help improve air quality. This model also features Anion and UV-C Sterilization technology to allow an even deeper clean from finer particles and harmful microbes such as bacteria and viruses. It cleans the air in as little of 12 minutes and the True HEPA filter removes mold and other harmful molecules while an Activated Carbon filter protects against odors, smoke, and VOCs that also result from activities such as cooking and cleaning.
On setup you follow the quick start instruction which has remove the filter to take off the plastic and place back into the unit. Once you power it on the fan is set to auto so that’s pretty much all you need to do other options on the panel are Timer, breevaShield (for anion/UV-C feature) Filter status, Air Quality indicator, Ambient Light and Child Lock. There is Wi-Fi on this unit so you can access smart features via the TCL app and this is where I ran into my first issue. Enabling the Wi-Fi by depressing the power button in stand-by mode for 3 seconds (as per instructions) did not work at first. After many attempts the only thing that worked was unplugging and re-plugging the unit, turning it on, slightly touch and hold the power button for 3 seconds. While using the TCL Home app it asked for your Wi-Fi SSID and password (manual and old fashion way of connecting device to Wi-Fi) then it connects to device which you see various options, but I only briefly saw these option because the app did a firmware update and restarted. After this event the app no longer worked with only turn on/off the power feature working. I’m using a newly bought Google Pixel 6 as my phone so this may be a factor. I could not test any of the smart features via app which seems to be a bit buggy on my phone.
When I first used the device was cooking which generated some smoke that the purifier quickly got rid of. It also took away the odor in the vicinity and have not had any allergic reactions lately, so it does seem to work but a little disappointed I’m not able to utilize any of the smart features.

Lightweight & good features at a value

BullGuard - Internet Security Gamer Edition is an affordable security suite that has many extra bells & whistles others do not offer at this price point. The software is a suitable for both causal users and experts. This edition is tailored for gamers to specifically not hinder performance while gaming, something that is not addressed by many competitors. Plus, it’s snappy and lightweight so you won’t run into performance issues on daily tasks.
After installing your greeted with a clean user interface that is easy to operate, main window contains a collection of 10 large square panels that shows Antivirus Firewall, Vulnerabilities, Backup, PC Tune Up & Game Booster, Parental Control, and Secure Browser. The remaining three, Identity Protection, Home Network Scanner, and has an optional BullGuard VPN. Every task can be done without leaving the main window. For example, the antivirus scan and vulnerability scan report progress right in their respective panels.
I tried the playing games and the game Control on GOG played with no slow down, with same framerates before I installed any paid security suite, so that’s a good thing. Next, I played No Man Sky on Steam which this time around I got a Game Booster optimization pop -up that did not enable while playing GOG. The Framerates for No Man’s Sky did increase slightly and again no noticeable slow down while playing.
BullGuard also includes a Secure Browser that offers protection against malware and keeps your payment data safe when shopping online, protects your log-in details are never hijacked and from downloading malware, safeguards your browsing history from being stolen, and defends you from fake websites. The only thing is does not allow browser extensions, so you can’t use an extension like uBlock to block ads.
The feature I’m most impressed with is Identity Protection, this offers monitoring and alerts you if any of your information is on the Dark Web. Its comprehensive identity protection protects your most important information and alarms you if any suspicious activity is detected which is an absolute must have in the current climate of today’s major data breaches.
So far, I like it since it delivers on what is promised, plus a few extras, and having a paid antivirus is always better than free versions, especially if you or members of the family visit shady websites.

With the rapid increase in cord-cutting (ending cable subscription) finding a good premium OTA antenna to pull in current HD 1080i (ASTC 2.0) or near future 4K (ASTC 3.0 Next Gen) broadcast content is vital since plenty of TV shows, local news and sports can be viewed for free. Major broadcasting station offer channels for free via over-the-air that is accessed with an antenna but getting these channels in can be a pain since there are so many factors that affect reception quality. The Core Innovations - Indoor TV Antenna pick ups station signals very well in my area and should also work well with others under ideal circumstances.
Design wise I’m impressed with the small form factor and slick modern look that fits in well with décor of other devices. In my case, the lady of the house hated having the previous antenna hanging on the wall and prefers this one. It looks like a cool tech device rather than others that’s obviously an antenna. As another option you can just place the antenna out of sight behind TV.
Instructions were easy to follow and after connecting to TV and plugging in, the antenna pulled in 96 channels on TV scan. All my desired channels come in and are stable with an additional bonus of one that did not come in with prior antennas, that station is PBS and I’m extremely happy. :) Other features such as signal indicator makes things so much easier for you when it comes to placement and 3G/4G/5G LTE (cellular signals tends to interfere with TV signal) filtering is another one.
When searching for an indoor antenna, you must do some research first, for example I’m around 25 miles away from broadcast towers, so considered an ideal candidate for an amplified indoor antenna according to https://www.antennasdirect.com. At a minimal it is key that you find out how many miles you’re away from the towers, for example, folks in a rural area with mountains far away from towers and would need an outdoor antenna but there is still no guarantee that you will pull in stations Your results will vary on any antenna depending on the situation so don’t expect any miracles.
Now for the bad stuff: a USB for the power source would have been better in my opinion. Power cord is also too short.

I specifically bought this for ice coffee so I can stop spending a bunch $$$ of at Starbucks all the time and Mr. Coffee Single-Serve does indeed fulfill this goal.
It has a nice modern design that’s easy to clean and comes with everything you need to make good ice coffee, with a plastic reusable cup, top and straw. The unit also comes with a coffee scooper that has measurements for hot or cold sizes, this scooper can be placed inside on the side of the coffee maker itself which is very convenient.
The easy-to-follow instructions will have you enjoying your ice coffee in minutes as it brews quickly. I used Starbucks’s premium Breakfast Bend which tastes just as good as store bought, so I’m happy.

Affordable great sound

These ear buds are a value focused item that offers next generation playback, has a sturdy fit that remands comfortable during longs sessions and are dust/water resistant. Things like app support with EQ presets, easy controls on ear buds and long battery life sets this apart form others in this price range where some of these features are lacking.
Setup: First thing you notice after opening box is a quick steps diagram on the box that directs you to scan a QR code to download app on the phone, the QR code is very tiny, so my phone’s camera had an issue detecting it at first. Once it did, you’re directed to a web page where you chose IOS or Android options, when the app is installed, you go some steps, and the app connects the ear buds very quick and easily (good feature) then it updated to the latest 8.2 software version. The app prompts you to enable 360 Reality Audio Setup with compatible apps that have that option like Jay-Z’s TIDAL service or Amazon Music HD plan. Note: 360 Reality Audio format brings a 3D element to HiFi's lossless audio kind of like Dolby Atmos but is different from that. I don’t have any 360 audio options in my music subscriptions so could not test that feature, after that I went to the EQ presets and selected Bass Boast. The app interface is clear and simple to operate with battery levels, status of music playing, and ear buds has voice prompts to inform you of connection status, battery level etc, which I really liked.
Sound: Excellent quality while playing music and on voice calls, ear buds get pretty loud at 70% volume and music is very clear and vibrant. Bass is good although not earth shaking. The EQ preset has options for almost all types of music and has Sony’s additional DSEE (digital sound enhancement engine) option which upscales audio, but I didn’t notice much of a difference with it enabled but did with EQ. With that said, two things may be a factor on why I didn’t notice a difference; I’m not considered an audiophile and all my music services are low quality free services so I doubt any upscaling would do much for those unlike pay premium services with high quality “Hi-Res Lossless maximum resolution of 24-bit/192 kHz.audio”.
Form & Features: The well-built rounded buds are impressively light, with real control buttons that are easily pressed, right button controls play/pause, song skip, and calling while a hold press calls up your voice assistant. The left bud provides volume control: tap to raise volume and hold to lower, onboard volume control is one of the most convenient wireless earbuds features, and a surprising number of buds don’t offer it. The translucent battery case just has a cheap feel to it but is very small for the pocket. I really like these buds with the only con of not having noise cancellation but not really a big deal since these get loud. I also think these would be a good upgrade for those with cheap ear buds or for first time true wireless buyers.
Battery life: Up to 10 hours of playtime, one extra charge in the case, good for about 20 hours total.

Awesome mid-range soundbar

Things I am looking at on the Samsung - HW-Q600A is good dialogue (voice sound from TV & movies) since my prior soundbar was lagging in that department. Also, to check how good Dolby Atmos 3D sound actually is and to see if the soundbar has additional features that benefit you like easy connection to phone for music for example.
Setup with HDMI ARC was easy with TV CEC detecting the soundbar right away and sub-woofer connecting via Bluetooth automatically when turned on, was impressed by this because my prior 2019 soundbar was a pain to setup. Other ways you can connect is with Optical port and Bluetooth, but you cannot connect TV via Wi-Fi for sound like it states on Best Buy overview.
Based on past experience with soundbars and other electronics, the first thing I checked was to see if there were any software updates and indeed there are two firmware updates: VER 0071(DSP) & VER 1001.1(SOC) https://www.samsung.com/us/support/downloads/?model=N0021435 Updates must be done separately ether with two different UBB drives or one at a time on same USB drive, upgrade instructions are available when you select the see more button next to firmware on the website and select UPGRADE GUIDE VER 1.0 to download. Unfortunately, there is no info on what is fixed on the website. The update process was simple and the display on soundbar shows its progress.
Design-wise the soundbar is low profile in height and has a sleek modern look that overall has a much smaller footprint than the majority of soundbars. Product height is 2.3 inches and length 38.6 inches. It has a little display on the right-hand side that shows sound modes, volume level and other information---this really comes in handy and is a nice feature. Ports you get an Optical Audio In, HDMI ARC, HDMI In and USB.
Sound is fantastic as I used the Adaptive Sound preset which enhances dialogue to make it clear to hear. (In other words) I do not have to turn up the volume when people talk low or whisper in movies like I did before and music, sound effects no longer drown out voices in shows. You can also level the volume by holding the SOUND MODE button when the bar is turned off to activate the auto-volume mode, which helps balance the volume level between live TV and native streaming apps, before I had to increase the volume for HBO Max and decrease it for Amazon. This alone is worth the price of admission in my opinion as I got tired of always adjusting volume for different programs. Volume on 25 is loud enough for me and this device can get loud, the max I tried was 35 because anything higher may disturb the neighbors. This soundbar has excellent dynamite highs and lows in sound; movies that have Dolby Atmos are even better with a total immersive experience, in fact I wish I got the one with additional surround sound speakers to truly get that 3D effect. Connecting via Bluetooth mode to phone (or other devices) was easy as well but the soundbar volume is only controlled manually with buttons on soundbar. Alternatively, if you have a Samsung device you can download the SmartThings app (enable the Smart Tap feature) and simply tap the soundbar to connect and play music. You can also play audio files via the USB port.
Dolby Atmos sound is definitely better than my soundbar older Dolby system with better sound separations, good balance between voices and background noise (music, sound effects) for a crisp and clearer experience in sound. This soundbar provides a fuller sound experience.

Web pages load quick on my laptop but that may be a network connection issue.
Can't expect an $300 laptop to have a lighted keyboard.

Main complaint is that the sales rep said this laptop, purchased as an open box item, would receive the Windows 10 upgrade. On turning it on & trying to upgrade, I found out that the laptop, in fact, cannot receive the Win10 upgrade. Always disappointing when a sales rep overpromises and under delivers!! Other than that, it seems to be a nice laptop but I won't keep it because Windows 8 drives me crazy!

Apps run okay but the real problem is streaming and internet browsing. I'm telling you, generic tablets are faster... I thought it was my internet at first but all my other devices work phenomenally fast. I first noticed this after I started using it but I thought I would give it a shot. I've decided to return this and exchange for another $50 tablet tomorrow. This is because I couldn't even watch a simple youtube video today.
Here's what I did like. It's name brand. The games are nice and mostly ad free. It uses Android 5.0 but uses their own app store. Reading books is great. Library app is kinda slow but still works.
Perfect cheap tablet for kids age 6 to 13 maybe...

I have not had a problem with streaming and run Netflix, Hbo Now, Youtube and videos on Facebook (mainly youtube) just fine. Generic tablets are not faster than this device, starting to think that some of the people who are doing these bad reviews did not even purchase the device or have some other agenda like say it's just for kids which is totally bogus..

The Fire replaces my Kindle reader and serves this purpose well. When using as a tablet with WIFI on, battery runs down very quickly but oh well just need to charge often. Really like the camera. Not the greatest pics but again serves my purposes well.

Tested this computer at the store and when you move the screen you can see the panel flex in the lower corner about an inch above the hinge on the edge of the screen on each side. This effect happens when just moving the screen back and forth even gently. Not sure how long the screen will last like that otherwise seemed pretty awesome for what it is. Too Bad I would love to have gotten two for my kids.

I have a Lenono G50-45 and can confirm the build quality is flimsy at least on their entry level laptops, don't even take it anywhere for two reasons: 1st I think it will break easily, 2nd the battery life is not good, even bought a Asus Chromebook because of these issues. Other issues were the wifi taking 6-8 mins to reconnect after sleep mode, cursor freezing (seem to went away after updating to Win 10) but everything else was fine with it but would much rather have a similar spec Asus that been on sale a couple times this year for $399 (not at Best Buy unfortunately )

Bought this tv on black Friday and purchased the 5 year warranty. After a couple days it started to have a pink cloud affect on the screen. Tonight it just shut off and had no picture but sound. Sat on hold with geek squad 2 seperate times. First time I was hung up on second time I was told to take it back in. When I purchased the warranty I was told with the size of tv they would come out to my house to repair or replace it. So I called the store and sat on hold another 20 min. When I finally talked to someone they said it's not there problem after it leaves the store and I would have to do whatever the geek squad tells me to do. Disappointed in lg and even more disgusted with best buy. Great customer service until you walk out the door than who cares

I bought this phone to see if it would work on a free government plan (Safelink) and did not want to pay a lot for premium phone but did want some premium features. The phone works perfectly on Safelink (I am extremely happy about not paying a cell bill anymore) plus does everything a $400 phone does. This phone outperforms my Samsung Galaxy Core Prime in every way and for $130 (on sale plus I had Best Buy points) . Great build quality, fast processor, plenty of storage and ram. Picture quality is good to me, since I'm use to entry level phones but does not compare to other premium phones.

There is an issue with the battery draining while phone is idle (screen off) the phone still last a long even with that but to fix I tried an app called Battery Doctor that seems to work.

Solid, above average aluminum construction and a very good, 1080p IPS display. Performance is good, but not exceptional with the Braswel N3160 CPU, however, 4GB of ram and 32 gb of flash memory are above average for a consumer grade Chrome laptop. Lack of SD card reader is puzzling- but having two USB 3 ports is helpful, for example, when connecting to an external hard drive. Be advised that some Chrome extensions can hamper performance, and if ad blocking is use, I would recommend Ublock Origin versus Adblock, as the later significantly decreases performance (Chrome Web Store). Finally, this laptop should run Android apps sometime in 2016/2017.

Can't answer your question regarding comparison, but I had the same issue with the Ultra regarding shadows/tree and resolved it by lowering motion sensitivity to 65% and limit the motion detection area.
