More speed than my ISP can handle

Quick simple setup and all the power and bandwidth you need for a household full of gadgets. With a preset WiFi network on the router, you can configure the LINKSYS EA9300 MAX-STREAM AC4000 TRI-BAND WI-FI ROUTER with a smart phone, tablet or PC. The App’s user interface is simple and informative with basic features only a click away while the web browser allows for more complex configurations, such as DMZ, port forwarding and VLAN configurations. This router is physically heavier than other home routers, not a bad thing, but noticeable when setting it up. The range is also amazing as it sits on the first floor and have minimal lost between the basement and second floor. I have also mowed my acre of a yard around the house streaming music without any interruption.
I personally had an odd issue where I enabled parental controls and blocked a device listed as “network device” though later found out it was my Xbox One. Once it was identified, I disabled the parental controls but the Xbox was still blocked from the network. I manually reset the router and everything is now working as intended.
Regardless of that minor issue, everything has worked perfectly, to include fast resets after making configuration settings. With over 14 devices on my network, the only thing slowing me down is the speed of my internet service provider.

Hair drying with added ions
on May 22, 2017

The Panasonic - Nanoe Hair Dryer looks and feels like a professional salon hair dryer. It is slightly heavier than your standard generic hair dryer, but not by much. The nanoe outlet appears to work the same way as the ionizer on compressed air tools for electronics, though it is hard to tell. My daughter has been the primary user and she does claim that straightening her hair afterwards has been a bit easier, so I would say it is retaining moisture compared to her other dryer. The extra attachments also help make styling easier as you can direct the flow or use the diffuser to dry without blowing your hair everywhere. The speed and temperature controls are independent of each other, so you can have no heat but full speed.

Popping color and deep blacks, with caveats
on May 9, 2017
Posted by: DavidJr
The Samsung Q7F QLED TV has some of the brightest and sharpest colors I have seen on a TV, with deep and true blacks (1). The design of the TV truly looks sleek from every side as they added a “Boundless 360° design”. Meaning the TV physically looks nice all the way around with hidden connections and thin cabling to present an “Invisible Connection” (2). The OneRemote feels nice, solid and not over cluttered with buttons as it allows for voice command entry and some control of other connected devices (3). Upon initial set-up, the Samsung Q7F recognized my Samsung S7 Edge phone and asked to use the Wi-Fi and Samsung account details from it instead having to manually enter them, showing just how smart this TV can be (4). The sound is also surprisingly loud and crisp with a bit of an ambient surround effect from the bottom facing speakers.
As for the caveats:
1) The colors do look amazing and the blacks look deep, so long as you are sitting directly in front of the TV. If you make any variation from the center you will instantly see the blacks to begin to fade. The harder the angle the more you will begin to see colors wash out. At about a 45° angle, which is about the position of the other chairs in my living room, the picture looks so pale that it is hard to distinguish between some colors. Their branding of “Q | Every View” falls short quickly. Depending on the angle also determines how much light bloom you will see on dark screens from the edge lighting. In certain scenes the colors can also be a bit too bright, as red and bright green tend to pop out more and create a bit of bloom of their own. A bit distracting in some scenes. Unless you enable ambient light detection while you are in a dark room setting, you end up blinded by the menu with extremely bright white background.
2) The “Boundless 360° design” really is nice with the ability to hide the power and one connect cable through the stand. The edges are pencil thin and the back has panels to hide the screws and connections. I truly like the One Connect box design as I like having access to change out cables without moving the TV. They meant for this TV to be out in the open. However, I had an issue during setup, at the bottom of the panel there is a thin strip of metal hiding some internal components. When you first unpack it there is a protective film that must be peeled off. For me, the sticker managed to grab ahold of that thin piece of metal and pull it all the way out. It is irreplaceable and really only noticeable if you are close to the TV or in a dark room as there are a few pixels of light under there. This thin strip appears to only be cosmetic, and Samsung Tech Support is working with me on it, but seems like a cheap fix for the design. The slim edge is also like an optical illusion as the panel gets thicker toward the bottom and middle, curved even on the flat screen, which is really noticeable when you have to use the custom spacers to wall mount it using a VESA 400x400 mount which require 43-45mm 8mm 1.25 screws, not included.
Another issue I have with the design is that the power cables that are supplied are both the same 6ft length. They advertise the “Invisible connection”, in which the One Connect optical cable truly helps provide. However, the power cable is so short that I hope you have an outlet directly behind your TV. Most of us would want to protect that with a surge protector as well, so breaking that invisible concept. The advertised picture does not appear to show the power cable as an outlet is not nearby.
3) The One Remote is simple, almost too simple. Though it looks and feels all high tech, the shiny little ring on the front only functions as a four-way direction pad. It looks as if it could work like a scroll wheel, but it doesn’t, and the remote is where I feel they went backwards with the design. The only way to navigate between letters on the screen, as you type in your username and password, is one click at a time, unless you connect a Bluetooth keyboard or phone app. As you click through each character there are recommended letters and sometimes the automatic check mark after so many characters to help save time. However, that also becomes an issue as you think you clicked left to go to the next character and what you really did is hit the check mark for completion, incorrect password and you’re starting all over again. Shoot, they don’t even let you go right on the smart menu to roll around to the left. Instead, you must scroll through the other 15 apps to get to the source menu. It has no magic pointers or motion controls and the voice commands won’t recognize your crazy email address name, just try it and see what it comes up with. The simplification also affects how other applications or devices are controlled as there’s no separate fast forward or skip function, though there are color buttons that help with some devices that use it and some apps just work with the directional control.
4) As for the smart features, I was surprised when the TV wanted to connect to my phone, especially because I thought I had it connected to the LAN, only to find my switch was turned off. Regardless, once accepted it pulled all the needed info from my phone saving time and headache from having to enter my username and passwords for both the Wi-Fi and Samsung account one letter at a time. I was also disappointed in the amount of apps available. They have the majority of the most common apps and a few off the wall. It just seemed that once connected to the internet there should have been a much wider selection, even if I wouldn’t use the majority of them. Something that I am sure will change over time.
Straight out of the box, my TV would not allow for screen share, either directly or through YouTube. After contacting tech support it was a simple unplugging of the One Connect box for one minute after having powered it on. Once plugged back in, it automatically came back on and screen share worked.
The installed media player has a “360° mode” button. Though I tried media through YouTube and my Network Attached Storage, neither seemed to enable that mode. Once I put the 360 media directly on a USB drive plugged into the One Connect box, it worked as intended. The remote directional pad, volume and channel buttons then become the controls for viewing but limit other functions, such as volume and fast forward/rewind. This is where a motion controlled controller would have really been an advantage.
The settings for this TV are rather limited. Certain settings can’t be disabled to reduce input lag for gaming, though there is a gaming mode which isn’t bad, auto power management is on or off and locked to 4 hours, and audio pass-through has to be changed depending on the format of audio being provided, not auto sensed. The four preset picture settings basically bright, dim or a yellow hue to everything, depending on which one you use. As for HDR content, it is automatically recognized on application media like Netflix, Amazon Prime and YouTube, but requires to be manually set for external devices under UHD color. You also wouldn’t know it is in HDR unless you go to change settings unlike some other TV’s that show when it is enabled.
Don’t get me wrong, this is a nice TV, especially if you mainly sit directly in front of it. If you are upgrading from an older TV to this one, you will be amazed. If coming from last year’s 4K models, as I am, maybe not so much. I just feel that instead of moving forward with new technology and design, they tried too hard with rebranding, adding “Q” and “Elite” to everything and didn’t advance anything forward, but took a step back. Samsung has been using “Quantum Dot” technology in their SUHD TVs for a few years now and to me this just looks like a gimmick to try and compete with OLED TVs.
*I received this TV as part of a promotion to provide my true and honest opinion, though not requested on this site, I couldn't resist to try and let more people know.

Surprisingly loud for personal use.
on May 1, 2017

from Elizabethtown, KY
The Polk Boom Bit wearable speaker is not an all-day home Bluetooth speaker. It is for personal use where you could use a speaker phone, but need something louder and more convenient. A perfect example is for when riding a bicycle, you shouldn’t wear headphones, but you want to listen to music and have hands-free calling. Any activity that is about 3 hours and you need hands free but don’t want to block out all sound with headphones.
This little speaker is light and can clip on nearly anything up to 1/4 inch. Due to the way it is charged it reminds me of an old school thumb drive, though there is no storage on this device. The controls are simple, yet slightly annoying when you need to press both buttons at the same time for power. The + and - are the only buttons and they are far enough apart that you won’t accidently click the other one, but just far enough to make it a challenge to hold both for some functions.
The battery life, as with any device, is dependent on use and volume levels. At the lowest settings capable of still hearing sound it lasted 4.5 hours for me. Being in a cubicle style office it was loud enough for me to hear it clipped on my lanyard, but so low that no one else could hear it unless I was standing next to them. Audio quality is not bad, but about what I would expect from a tiny speaker.

Fun speaker
on March 30, 2017
Posted by: DavidJr
The Sony SRS-XB40 has been the speaker my teenage kids have been fighting over since I received it. The sound on it is surprisingly loud and clear with rich sounding bass. With quick connection using NFC on my Android phone I was up and running in no time flat. This thing is like a little party box with the various light features and the ability to link multiple speakers together. I envision walking in with my family of 4, each carrying a speaker, setting them around and starting a party wherever we are. Price is the limiting factor on that though.
The lights are entertaining and the only way to truly control them is through one of two apps advertised in the material that is in the package, Music Center and Fiestable, which Fiestable now appears only inside Music Center. You can turn the lights on and off by holding the Extra Bass button on the speaker itself, but by default it is in “Rave” mode. Through the Settings menu of the Music Center app you can find an EQ, power options and illumination. The lighting mode then can be changed off through 12 other settings, with some preset color modes. However, you can also play with the lights through Illumination in Fiestable, which only allows color changing and blinking rate of the color while you hold it. Also strangely is that if you set a color, then go back to settings and choose a color mode, it will continue to hold your set color instead of changing to “Calm Lime” per se. The DJ Control is interesting in the Fiestable app as well. It modifies the sound and plays sound effects from the speaker, no matter the source. It gives you a feel that you are a “real DJ”, for a moment, till you realize how annoying it can get.
It feels sturdy and heavy enough to sit on a ledge by the pool without a beach ball knocking it off. Plus it is splash resistant and shouldn’t have any issues from the water of weather. It does have a rubber seal on the panel where USB, power, the charging cable and a reset button are and it is not meant to open in case of getting wet. The buttons all appear to be sealed with the rubber that wraps the entire speaker which also makes me wonder, why is there no skip button on there?
Overall, it is a fun speaker and that is why my teenage kids love it. I just wish I had better control over the lights and didn’t have to go to an app within an app to make changes in two different places.

Back to the basics
on March 29, 2017

These headphones take it back to the core of headphones. Simple and effective. There is no need for batteries, flashy lights, different directional buttons or special apps. These are straight up wired headphones with microphone and they do a great job at being that. The Razer - Kraken Pro v2 Wired Stereo Gaming Headset looks big and heavy, but it is lightweight. They are big and with that they fit around my huge ears in any direction. The thick ear pads help create some noise isolation and feel comfortable for long term use. The material is like a light leather and does create a bit of a moisture barrier, so if you are a bit hot headed it can build some sweat. The headband is soft and flexible, capable of taking some twisting on and off of the head. The in-line volume and microphone controls along the braided cord are simple and make it easy for quick changes. These work great in game controllers, phones, media players and with the extra splitter adapter it will work in devices that had separate headphone and microphone ports. Available colors are green, white, and black.

So many functions in such a little space
on February 17, 2017
Posted by: DavidJr
The Samsung Gear S3 is by far one of the most advanced and classy looking smart watches out there. This smart watch pretty much has everything and with an option for 4G LTE I can’t imagine much more being offered. I have had the Samsung Gear S2 Classic and the Samsung Gear Fit2. I really like the “normal” watch style of the S line, but both watches just didn’t meet my expectations. Now that I have the Gear S3 Frontier, I can say that they have finally hit everything I was looking for.
Just starting off as a watch, it is a bit big and may be for some, but looks like a typical rugged style watch. The watch faces on it are amazing and some go as far as to mimic the light reflection as if they had a real reflective background. The clarity and finite details even give some of them a 3D appearance. From analog to digital with individual stylizations, there are so many watch face styles that you could have a different one every day if you choose to. There is also an “always on” feature that prevents you from having to flick your wrist to see the time, a complaint I had with the S2, however, it reduces time between charges significantly. With the band being interchangeable with any 22-mm band, the design choices are limitless.
As a fitness tracker, the Gear S3 has everything you expect, plus more. It tracks steps, floors climbed and automatic heart rate tracking with decent accuracy. It will pick up exercise events automatically if continued for at least 10 minutes, however, if you want full GPS tracking you will need to manually start the exercise event. When manually started and using S-Health you get added results, such as highest and lowest elevation for total ascent/descent using the included altimeter, and average/max heart rate. You also get a Google map display of your event which can be exported to a GPX file. The Gear S3 can keep track of all of this information without the phone being present during the workout. As an added bonus, the watch has internal storage so you can play music directly from the watch, through the built in speaker or Bluetooth headphones, or control the music on your phone.
For smart watch capability you get the typical notifications and alerts from your phone, which you can change in the Samsung Gear app. You can reply and send text messages by using standard preset short replies, emoticons, by writing text by hand, using an old style alphanumeric keypad, or use the microphone to record a message or use speech-to-text. Don’t want to text? You can answer and place calls directly from the watch, with surprising clarity. You can use your contacts or a keypad to enter a fresh number without ever pulling out your phone.
As for controlling the watch, I still love the rotating bezel compared to some other smart watches using the small crown. My fingers feel like I’m trying to use two sausages to pick up a pin when messing with small dials and such. Sometimes even using the screen is cumbersome as my finger can cover half the screen or a slight bump leads to clicking on a wrong reply.
My favorite feature with the watch has been the amazement that I get from people when I use my watch with Samsung Pay to make a payment. It typically starts out with their hand out awaiting a credit card. Then I tell them I’m going to pay using my watch and their response is usually “Oh our system is old, we don’t do that yet” as they hear the beep of the transaction being completed. That is when the questions start to kick in, even from people behind me in line. Besides ATM machines and gas pumps, it has worked on pretty much everything else. If at first it does not succeed, have them change the transaction from credit to debit or vice versa. You can even make up to four transactions without your phone being nearby, making this even better when out on a workout.
To wrap up with a few odds and ends, I like how the bezel is above the glass. I have only had mine a few weeks and already bumped it against several hard objects. There are marks on the bezel, but nothing with the glass. I just bought some lens covers to be sure that this will not be an issue. The default watch band is rubber, therefore it stretches and at times feels like it is pinching my arm, as a rubber band would. If I loosen it too much, because I use Samsung Pay, the screen will lock and requires a 4 digit pin to be entered. A feature I am grateful for, but a bit of an annoyance when I find it locked when a notification comes in, so I keep the watch tight. The battery life has lasted on average 3 days, with the “Always On” feature turned off. I like to wear mine at night as well, to provide sleep tracking, so I charge it during times of inactivity, like at my work desk or in the evening while watching TV, and it is fully charged in about 2 and a half hours. The altimeter and barometer are an interesting feature, and I am sure for some it will prove useful, but so far all I have noticed is that I have to recalibrate the altimeter every few days as it has been over 600ft off after a few days and the weather has not been severe enough to really change the barometer reading.
In conclusion, I have thoroughly enjoyed my Samsung Gear S3 Frontier and look forward to using it more as the season of outdoor activities starts to roll in. With so much to offer in a typical elegant looking watch, it is hard to believe what they will improve on it anytime soon. If you are looking to take the step into the world of using a smart watch, but don’t want a device that looks like a small phone on your wrist, and provides more features than any other watch, this is the one for you. If you are looking for an upgrade from any other smart watch, you don’t have to look any further.

Better night's sleep, drowning everything else out
on January 18, 2017
Posted by: DavidJr
I have always needed some sort of steady noise in the background to help me sleep. Typically I have a box fan, ceiling fan, or circular fan running in my bedroom, but when on the road it is not the most convenient thing to travel with. I have tried using apps on my phone which usually lead to hearing the loop sound or other interrupting sounds that end up disrupting my sleep. Nothing like a notification coming through when you can't mute the phone as you need the sound. Also, the AC in a hotel usually has a mind of its own, cutting on and off at random times. However, the LectroFan is small enough to pack away and provides a perfect, non-stop sound that sounds very realistic. So realistic that I could have sworn that there was air coming from the direction of the sound. It also has some weight to it that helps keep it in place on your nightstand.
There are 20 different sounds that can help meet anyone's desires, as listed in the picture. These sounds range from the sound of leaving an old TV on to large industrial fan, like you're sleeping in a warehouse. After listening to all of them I almost wished they had a diesel generator sound to remind me of my times out in the field during training exercises.
The buttons are far enough apart and simple enough that it is easy to make changes in a dark room. There is a 60 minute timer that can be increased per 60 minutes to 120 and 180 that I do not use, because when the sound stops, that is when I wake.
The other thing that this device can be used for is drowning out noises while you are awake. When used in an office or waiting area, the volume can be increased to a point that you can barely hear yourself talk over it. Yet, at the right level and setting it can prevent anyone else in the area overhearing a conversation in the other room. However, set the volume too high and the sounds start to crackle.
Though the design is simple it looks a bit dated. With the heptagon shape, very sharp edges, large grey buttons, and only available in white and black may limit where you want to put this. But, at the same time, it is really a type of device that is meant to be heard and not necessarily seen. Also, the power that the LectroFan uses is standard USB 0.5 amp, 1watt. So, if you happen to be short on plugs, or forgot an adapter, any powered USB port will essentially work. So, use that one outlet for your laptop and plug the LectoFan into the computer and drown out those distracting random sounds.

Works as designed
on January 12, 2017

The Belkin Lightning Audio + Charge RockStar adapter does exactly as it is designed to do, provide two lightning ports so that you can charge your phone and use lightning headphones at the same time. However, this thing is 4.5 inches long and seems a bit bigger than it needs to be for a simple function. It works perfectly with lightning headphones and a charger if you don’t plan on moving much while it charges as it essentially makes your phone about 4 inches longer with its stiff cable. However, there is much risk of a cable like this easily wearing down, just like regular charge cables, so I understand why.
Though not advertised much, this will work with any device that is on iOS 10 with a lightning port. Though there is not much purpose, since older devices have a 3.5mm port for headphones, if you desire to use your lightning headphones and charge at the same time on your iPhone 6S Plus, you can, so long as you are on iOS 10 or higher.
In testing with the 3.5mm adapter and various styles of headphones, I discovered a slight problem with headphones that have volume/play controls on them that are not Apple branded. With these specific 3.5mm headphones the audio would intermittently cut in and out. After bumping the volume button a few times the volume control would then work properly and the sound would correct itself. It would seem that using the 3.5mm adapter in this Belkin adapter into the lightning port does not smoothly identify the switched pins of ground and control as there are varying standards. However, after using the control buttons it made the distinction.
Overall, for the price I don’t feel like it is worth the function it provides. It would probably be better just to spend the money for a set of Bluetooth headphones and use the lightning port for charging. However, not all Bluetooth headphones are good for watching videos and there are times you would prefer to use wired headphones while keeping a charge and this is the only certified product to do so.

This system is specifically designed for someone that wants to supply Wi-Fi throughout their house without having a gaudy looking, “alien like” router being the center piece of it. The design of each node is like a small vase or one of those Glade automatic air fresheners, with wires easily guided behind it and hidden underneath, too include a very “modern looking” power adapter. The Linksys Velop is directly aimed at someone that wants a simple method to set it up and a simple way to manage it. With the Linksys app it walks you through the process step by step and works its “magic” as it displays during setup. Managing the system is simple and straight forward through the app which is only available on iOS (8.0 or later) and Android (4.0.3 or later). The app allows you to control each devices access, enable/disable guest networks, and manage other technical aspects of the network. Using three nodes you can seamlessly cover a large area without ever needing to understand how it works. With the two Ethernet ports on each node you can also provide wired Ethernet connections to remote devices while wirelessly connected back to the internet. In my case my son’s room has always been a weak Wi-Fi spot and his old computer has just remained off the internet for years now. With this system he now has excellent Wi-Fi coverage and his old computer is connected via Ethernet cable to a wireless network. The Linksys Velop is an easy, simple and elegant way to provide a single hi-speed Wi-Fi network throughout a large area.
On the flip side though, I am a tech nerd and I like to have much more control over my devices. For instance, you cannot control these network devices with a computer. Unlike other Linksys devices that you can use the Linksys app for, you can usually use the computer to get even more refined details, such as separating the 2.4 and 5 GHz bands into separate networks or setting times to restrict access for parental controls. With the Linksys Velop you must use the app, even after the network is set up. If you attempt to log into the main node via IP, it will remind you that you must use the app. The other side effect to the app is that it is only available on iOS and Android devices that must already have an internet connection, because you have to download the app before you even start setup. So, if you only have an old device (earlier than iOS 8 and Android 4.0.3), or a Windows based phone, and don’t already have Wi-Fi or data services on your device, you will not be able to set this system up.
During the set-up process, though simple and guided, there were several times that I was on a waiting screen with no feedback other than a pinging blue circle or a rotating blue ring and the statement telling me it will take some time or please wait. After waiting over 15 minutes, two separate times, I restarted everything and it only took about 5 minutes to complete setup of the first node. The second node was even quicker and the third node required a hard reset of holding the reset button for 10 seconds, as directed by the app, though it installed after that with no issues. I just feel that the app should realize that after about 5 minutes of being on a single screen that something may be wrong and suggest restarting.
The Wi-Fi connection is truly seamless. Going from node to node is not noticeable unless you are looking for it and that is where I noticed that it only changes nodes over when it is at near loss of the previously connected node. For instance if connected to node 3 and you walk to node 2, you will not switch over to a stronger signal unless the other signal is so weak that you may lose connection anyways. Due to the size of my house, my devices only switch once I was at node 1, which was in my basement. This is a good thing, as it prevented actual loss of connection, but to me did not seem like the best option as the signal is stronger and most likely faster if I am a few feet from node 2 as opposed to 20 feet from node 3 or 1. The speed of this connection also ran between 80 and 100Mbps, which is good enough for my internet connection, but not the fastest local network speed.
Overall, Linksys Velop is a great looking system and works as intended. If you are looking for a simple and kind of discreet way to provide Wi-Fi throughout your house, this is the way to go. If you are like me and want more control over your home Wi-Fi, you might want to consider something like the Linksys WRT3200ACM.

Very unhappy about not getting the GearVR programs
By Sunshower
I tried many different ways to find out how to download the Gear VR programs by going to Samsung and Oculus online. All unsuccessful!!
June 3, 2016
Once you connect the Gear VR to the phone it starts a download for the software. There appears to be no other way to initiate the install. Once the Oculus software is installed, games and applications can be purchased through the application or from inside the store while wearing the device.

Need certain phones to use this.
By Donna
Wasn't told at time of purchase that certain phones were required to use this device. After purchase was when this was discovered. During this time we purchased a new home and was moving. After the move, tried to return the item because I didn't want to purchase a new phone. The only way the store would accept this return was to give me a gift card. I didn't want a gift card that I would most likely not use. Not happy with this policy at all. Also have made posts to FB in regards to your policy. I will not EVER enter your store again or make another purchase from you online. This is NOT how you treat a customer and expect more business from them.
It is labeled on the box and the site details

It says on the front and back of the box, "Compatible with Note5/S6 edge+/S6/S6 edge" and anywhere you look online it says it as well.

What is the number of prints ? what type of cartridges for ink? what is the cost for the ink refill?

The Polaroid Lab uses the the i-Type or 600 Polaroid film only. There are 8 pictures per cartridge. The chemistry to develop them is in the film so there is no ink to refill. The cost of the film can be found on the Polaroid site or searching other retailers for "Polaroid Originals Film" you can select from different styles but only those for 600 or i-Type.

Brother MFC-J6545DW INKvestment Tank all-in-one inkjet printer offers print, copy, scan and fax up to 11" x 17" and feature cartridges that work with an internal ink storage tank to deliver up to 1 year of printing. Help take the guesswork out of when to replace ink by using the unique Brother Page Gauge, a visual, numerical way to know the amount of ink you've used and the amount of ink you have remaining. Includes mobile device printing, 11" x 17" scan glass, automatic two-sided printing and a 3.7" touch screen.

Does this printer print automatic front and back?

The Brother MFC-J6545DW does do automatic two sided printing. I have seen some reviews state that the Brother drivers had to be installed, but I had no issues printed double sided with the default Windows 10 drivers and my Android device.

Can this model pull a stack of several 11" x 17" size paper through it's scanner, or does each piece of paper need to placed on the glass individually (manually one at a time)? Also, please verify that it does do color scanning.

The Brother MFC-J6545DW can handle up to 50 pages of 11x17 paper through the automatic document feeder. This is single sided scanning on the 6545.

Will this work with CenturyLink? I didn't see anything on this

It will work with any internet provider as this is a router, not a modem. Your internet provider can provide the modem, or compatible modems you can purchase, in which you can connect to this WiFi router for expanded connectivity.
