GREAT GAME, Awesome adventures, Oblivion-like rpg.

I like this game, it's awesome, the tombs were really designed well. Too bad the code for the game wasn't. They did patch the game several times, but each patch feels like a BETA. Just look on their website and see a billion complaint threads, I can not stress enough that you must have a high end pc, with a 4000 series ATI or higher.. Or nvidia.. but this game is worth investing on a high end rig. Highly addictive. JUST one warning, on the community website do not download files that have Metalica or .nkd in their name (example, shirt.nkd) it makes your sims age up as nude spiders. Looks cool for a while but gets really old. The game is worth $50 I would have paid that much for it. I just wish the patches were more solidly put together. I also wish the community didn't make viruses get built in their uploads.
What's great about it: Awesome tombs to explore, can have 8 hours pass without know it.
What's not so great: Patches from EA kill this game on anything less than a 2.4ghz Quad core

GREAT GAME, A MUST BUY

Don't expect a 15 hour game this isn't one. I love the new online gamertag style profile for your online character. Totally worth getting this game. I love the online mode more than anything. If you've never played a COD game before get this one, it's much better than World at War and even COD4. I will expect a ton of add-on maps shortly in the PSN Store. I will buy them launch day. This is a great game, the invite method beats cod4's method. They actually got the in game XMB to do alot more work, and it's super easy to invite buddies. I like seeing where they are in Mod war2 before I invite them, if they are in a game I'll wait until they are in the main menu. I really like the way I can MUTE idiots that blast music on their mics BEFORE the game starts a deathmatch or whatever mode I'm playing. I can also see what tags they unlocked, say if someone is a sniper expert they will have a tag that proves they are. Not game of the year because the offline mode sucks, but definitely Online game of the year. ALL my psn buddies have this game, I can understand why, the online mode is freaking awesome.
What's great about it: The Online modes are awesome,graphics are great for a multi-platform game
What's not so great: The storyline is way too short

A must have for anyone that owns the original game

This game is an incredible overall buy. I love the fact you can customize a planet to whatever you want it to be. Then when you get to the story mode creation part here's where the STEEP learning curve sets in. In order to create some awe inspiring levels you literally have to spend days if not weeks pulling all the buildings, creatures and dialogue together. Every single GREAT level must have the same production quality of a hollywood movie. In a way the bad is out weighed by the good part, no one can expect a half-baked level to get good scores on the sporepedia. I hope that people put enough time into levels to make awesome levels which I would love to play over and over again. This creator add-on which reall thats all it is, the adventure part is optional. the editor is a great tool i like to send up templates for other authors to use, thats just about ALL i have time for. I didn't like the sporepedia sometimes hanging up on me, that happened after the last update just before this game came out. if you want a difficult game/tool, this is the product for you. if you hate having to wade through tutorials then do not bother getting this game.
What's great about it: Making custom planets, adventures
What's not so great: No real graphical upgrade,sometimes the sporepedia doesn't work

Another Instant Classic from PIXAR!

I saw this movie first on my PS3's PSN Video Store, I liked it ALOT so much so, I went 2.0 miles down to my local Best Buy and bought it that night. I wonder how PIXAR makes lifeless thing's feel so ALIVE!!!?!?!?!?! I was literally blown away how much better the BD version was compared to the Download version. I don't rent movies off the PSN store anymore. I'd Rather buy or rent movies on DISC!! I absolutely feel WALL-E got ROBBED on the Oscars from the Slumdog Millionare movie. Wall-E should have grabbed all those awards! Not just best animated Movie. Anyways, the storyline doesn't really do ANYTHING in wall-e until EVE shows up then BAM zip your in Space inside 15 minutes or so, I think it was sped up a little too fast for the kiddies that have 2 second tension spans. (read books kiddies).. The love story between EVE and Wall-e was pulled off without a hitch. The inclusion of HELLO DOLLY MUSIC was infectious, so much so I went on my Xbox 360 and watched that movie after wall-e!! I really did enjoy this movie and still watch it 2 to 3 times a week a month later. I hope there is a Wall-E 2!! I really like the DVD backup that comes with the collectors edition BD. I can watch this movie on my PC or Laptop anytime anywhere!! brilliant how Disney didn't just ditch DVD and allowed us to have digital backups made with the serial key number of course.. Just do yourselves a favor everyone on bestbuy.com reading my review GET THIS MOVIE right now, do a store pickup and save the shipping costs!! You will not regret buying this awesome movie Wall-E gets 10 stars out of 10 from me!! I'm 28 and absolutely can't turn down great animated movies. Great movie for any family!!

GET THIS GAME!!

It's the best $65.00 I've spent in sometime. I own all consoles (XB360,Ps3,Wii) So I have a great idea what games are duds and what games just define what the console stands for overall. THIS GAME defines the XB360 and makes it stand out above all the rest. I don't like having to pay to get online but hey, you get what u pay for, one heck of a great game. I'm very pleased to have this game. I do have a PC as well and it is a Q6600 Quad Core Intel, but I cheaped out on the graphics card, I have my old x700 ATI PCI-E 1.0 (Lame, I know) I'm planning on saving for a ati 3870x2 (DUAL CORE GPU) with 2 gigs of blazing 4.1 Shaded graphics. But anyways back to Gears, This game blew me away at how well this game pulls the story together so well. Most Next gen games are all Graphics no story (usually) But this is the gem of a game your looking for. Get it right now. Go click buy right now GET IT!!!!! Get all ur Buddies to buy this game and PLAY IT, its awesome!! 10 stars simply Game of the Year!! I recommend this to anyone that has ever played any console. or any game for that matter.
What's great about it: online friends can help u out when your in a bind,graphics are amazing.storyline is AMAZING.
What's not so great: just an occasional lagging when online, nothing serious though,somewhat steep learning curve for noobs.

A Great Game

SPOILER!!!! I do like this game but like I said before once you get past the Bunker then it really plays JUST like Oblivion, I really wish they would have made it just a little different. I wanna call this game THE ELDER SCROLLS: OBLIVION: FALLOUT 3..... But that would be too long on the retail box,lol.. But seriously its nothing more than Oblivion set in the 70's and in a wasteland version of Washington D.c., I do like the premise of the storyline, it is interesting as every game Bethesda has ever made... BUT I wish they would think out side the box and come up with a new engine and a new way to tell there stories, I don't want 10 million games made the same way okay?? I really do like this game enough to buy it but I had to rent it first and its good I rented it. I do like this game and have it on PS3 and PC. The PC version has its perks (the tilde key u know the ~ key) The ps3 version needs to have a GOD mode because the bandits come out of thin air and shoot me dead in 2 seconds flat. I must get Sony to throw in blu-tooth keyboard support in game so it works just like the pc version.
Overall, if you like Oblivion You must get this game but its seriously a Deja Vu type of game, Oblivion part 2...
What's great about it: Storyline is awesome, graphics and gameplay are consistant
What's not so great: Well to be quite honest if you own OBLIVION it's Identical in everyway almost like a Add-on

Nice but not MAINSTREAM Music

I had this service for 3 months. I did like it at first then I realized it wasn't totally MAINSTREAM, sure it had some A-listers (Taylor Swift,Aretha) but I am seriously baffled that they don't have some much better artists like anyone from austin, TX which is the Live Music Capital and has a ton of artists just wanting a website that will pick em up. I must not reccomend this service if your used of A listers!!! It's weird at times, it has alot of Seattle Grunge indy pop so watch out. I can't really see how this site is still up!! Not to mention it should be free!!
What's great about it: Music You won't find anywhere else
What's not so great: There's a reason why...

GAME OF THE YEAR!!!

The first second I popped LBP in to my Ps3 to the time the install screen popped up, I knew this game was going to be different. I watched Beta user videos on You Tube and Thats what encouraged me to buy this game. I'm so glad I bought this game, the story is trying at times but ultimately can be beat in 6 hours if you breeze through the levels. BUT I must tell you that I strongly encourage you grab every new item bubble, It makes your user levels more fun when you make them. I have yet to find anything impossible to reach as when I get to the 2 player parts in a level I simply press start and invite a buddy to help me out, they can leave shortly after they do. I would like to see what other game lets you have buddy support like that. I must say that the overall feel of the Media Molecule Levels are by far the best levels I've seen in a game. This doesn't fade like with some other games over time would. ( I have Mario Galaxy and never play it anymore) I must make clear that as far as the editor goes, it's not for the faint at heart (no offense) It requires alot of time to make the perfect level. I'm on version 3 of my first level. It has Unlimited bubbles (the game currency) I can't wait to learn the elevator tool, there are a ton of videos and sample areas to learn how to use things. It does take along time but its worth it when 10,000 sackboys/girls played your level and your #1 on the LBP community. The trophy system only sweetens the deal. You get trophies for just about everything you do. All I can say now is WHY DON't You Have this game already???, lol !!!!! Get it now!! 10 out of 10 5 stars and 10000% are my grades for this game. I recommend this game to anyone who nows what a Ps3 and a TV are. and have a little bit of imagination.
What's great about it: Graphics,community,Infinite Levels,100% Moddabability
What's not so great: Network lag, which will get fixed soon, so really no downfalls.

A Must Have for Die Hard Fans

I loved the movie as a kid and what really kept me focused back when I saw it on VHS in 1987 or something like that was the music and the movies' characters. I'm going to Burn this to my PS3 so I can listen to it in the ATRAC format which will be so much better than WMA or AAC. Let me extend what I said about this being a rare find, I looked everywhere and Best buy was the only place Cheap enough and the only site that I could trust with my Personal Info. People, This music means so much to me, it was an inspiration along with the movie itself for me to be a better kid back in the 80's. I have no idea what I would have done without this movie&Music. I insist everyone get this right now as it is slowly becoming more and more of a one of a kind, No retailers carry this soundtrack anymore. I bought it just so I could have the chance to hold on to this music forever. This music cd is priceless $11.00 is nothing for complete happiness. I Hope everyone stumbling across this review can draw up enough courage to get this CD it is one that you can listen to 10 billion times and never get tired of it. I am obsessed with The never ending Story, I will never get tired of it, I want it on Blu-ray really bad. I will buy the Hi-def version the minute it comes out it means that much to me.
What's great about it: The Whole Soundtrack, Nice Non offensive music
What's not so great: What cons? This movie and it's music are flawless, Timeless! An Impossible CD to find on Napster or Rhapsody or anywhere

Great game

Overall I think GTA4 is mostly a good game the only reason I give it a 5 star rating is for the story mode. Other than that the graphics are a "been there done that" kinda feel to them. They don't really ever push the PS3 to it's limits like COD4 or GT5 prologue does. The dualshock 3 makes this game that much more interesting. DS3 adds something missing from most games depth and a sense of being there. I love the minimal load screens (you can goto any building thats interactive and just walk into or out of it) The mission load screens are unadvoidable. Just a little side note: this game takes a HUGE chunk of HDD space (5 gigs) so have little to nothing on the HDD before installing gta4.
The helicopter flying leaves something to be desired such as a joystick accessory for the ps3 (you know just like a pc one) It is really hard to fly one of those things. The sixaxis controls are goofy and might as well be turned off. I was mostly let down with the graphics more than anything.

It is about time, now if they offer the base game AND world adventures, it will seal the deal for me.. but either way I will LOVE to play TS3 on a huge screen without the distortion the pc's DVI to HDMI does.. I love the fact this game is finally releasing, while October is a ways off, I don't mind... I want it to be a bug free game... If we can have full online access to the TS3 store and a virtual EA Download manager and or a game launcher menu to sort downloads, this would absolutely seal the deal..

When I got the first game, the cashier @ Best Buy reassured me that it was a really awesome game. Everyone will want to play it! I was skeptic, of course... But obviously I really enjoyed it. My friends and I constantly laugh the whole way through the game! Especially when we back hand each other, and see us flying across the screen, down to our little sack boy deaths.... Priceless! The game looks basic, but you can do soo much in it!!! Looking forward to the next installment!

I want real feedback from a BETA user... I want a good in depth preview from someone that really has LBP2 beta, and if you want post your PSN.. I have seen too many LBP2 videos, but NOTHING will compare to the full game... I hope to GOD they make this sequel FULL 1080p.. I just got a new HDTV, I wanna use it until the screen dies from playing LBP2 too much.. I can't say how excited I am about this game.. I hope the delay is 100% justified, I have heard that the online is still buggy, I need them to fix that asap.. I am playing LBP almost everyday...

I replaced my old slow linksys with the new linksys E4200, wanting better range in a large house. Well.. the linksys was improvement over my old router, BUT...I was wanting to really see if the new linksys or this netgear 3700 was better for range. Well I tried both, and the netgear was by far the longer range wireless. By far...! So I kept the netgear and returned the linksys E4200. Its all about range baby...

However, the new linksys E4200 was far easier to setup. Went like a charm. The netgear 3700 failed setup process using the CD software.
I then tried the router webpage, as they suggest as a second resort, and that worked. So the linksys setup was much easier, and it could be setup without a hard wired net cable. Actually, one would be happy with either router, if range is not an issue.
Both stream HD very well. But in a big house, you will need the netgear 3700. The linksys E4200 just won't hack it when range is concerned.
I then tried the router webpage, as they suggest as a second resort, and that worked. So the linksys setup was much easier, and it could be setup without a hard wired net cable. My E1000 just had the wifi Die, for the past two weeks my router was playing games with my wifi connection.. I am gonna get this router, I am after all MSCE so it shouldn't be an issue..

you have 2 have a 60 gig or 80 gig Motor storm model ps3. all other ps3's lost the ps2 function and some usb ports as well.
