Internet Connectable?No
At only $499.00 this is a fantastic buy from a reputable manufacturer. The image on this site shows $35 per year to operate. The sticker on the device read only 18.00 per year. It is very light too.

This is the ticket. I have tried other tablets from many manufactures as well as cell phones on Android. None can compare to the 1920 x 1200 display. It's got 4 cores at 1.5 Ghz.

Drops Internet connection too often

I had to return this one as it would not keep the Internet connection. I saw many drops per day in the cable modem log, which explained the download interruption errors.
I wanted this one based on a previous router from Netgear and the same feature in this one to block certain sites.
The Netgear Genie software reflects incorrect settings and staus compared to the web-based config interface.
Netgear Geanie has to be downloaded separately.
Parental controls require 3rd party software / registration

This makes the Galaxy Nexus usable in my opinion. I have seen other batteries with more capacity but this was on sale for 24.99. That can't be beat.

This is a very nice monitor. 1080p is just gorgeous. I do wish that it booted faster - one has to look at the Acer then Energy Star logos for too long. It is very good at auto-sensing devices being powered on or off and acts accordingly. I paid the normal price for this one as I was returning a gift that was a lot less monitor both in size and in resolution. This was the only monitor that met my minimum specs in the store where purchased.

This device has saved loads of money as cable companies charge $3.00 - 7.00 per month rental fee for the same or similar device.
Although it is DOCSIS 2 and not 3, the cable company in most cases only needs 2 for the lower speeds

This is one great gadget. It just keeps impressing me. This is my first smart phone. Ice Cream Sandwich makes it very nice to use. When texting, it predicts my next word with amazing accuracy - as if it's reading my mind. It fixes my typos as well. My only complaint would be the battery life.

This wireless router is a simple no-frills router. It can easily handle many devices wirelessly at once. We use a mix of Windows-based PCs and laptops, Android Tablets and smart phones simultaneously. Even a wireless printer when the printer is functioning.
You can see the connected devices using the web-browser interface.
I would like to be able to block certain sites though. That feature is missing from this device.
I would now recommend a similar priced Netgear router.

This was purchased as a replacement device. We are very happy with it. The weight and feel make you think it is anything but toy-like. It has a beautiful display. The only thing missed is the memory card slot, but with 16GB of storage, it will not be filled for a long time. Stereo speakers and Dolby Digital sounds nice!

I must add to the above review.
After many Internet searches for info on NFC support, I sent an email to Lenmar the maker of this item. The response received confirms that this device does NOT support NFC.
If you are interested in using things like Android beam, tap-to-pay (Google Wallet, Isis wallet etc) then look for a better item.

Can you download a Gmail app on it? also does it come with Windows 8 including Microsoft word,excel and office?
Gmail = yes. All Google apps are there from the start. Windows and windows apps = no. This is an Android device running Android 4.1.2.

Will I get charged a fee, if a download a video to the tablets memory?
That would depend on where you download from ... The tablet will not charge you a fee for using it's storage :-)

Can you use the HDMI input to hook up to Satelite receiver?
I do not think that the HDMI port really knows what is sending the signal and should not discriminate.

I do not know what a "proser" is at all. Jelly Bean seems more feature laden than Ice Cream Sandwich. If you meant 'browser", then I think they are the same. I tend to load my favorite browser rather than the default.

Is it possible to buy heads for a printer?
Someone told me the heads on my printer were bad. the machine is only 2 years old.
Most of today's printers have the print heads built into the ink cartridges. If yours is an older model without this technology, you may be better off upgrading to one of the affordable ones that does. Include your model number etc when asking and people may have the same issue, etc. Good luck!
