Google Pixel 4 is the phone made the Google way. Its camera takes a perfect shot every time, even when it's dark out. Great Phone, Only One Weakness

I really wanted to give this phone 5 stars.
I so many ways, this is the best phone I have ever used. It fits perfectly in the hand with just the right amount of weight to feel like a premium product.
Phone calls are clear, cell signal is strong, wifi and Bluetooth connect quickly. My Bluetooth headphones have never sounded better.
I have had absolutely no problems reading the screen outdoors and I don’t have the best eyesight and I live in sunny South Florida. I set the screen to adaptive brightness which automatically raises and lowers the brightness depending on your surroundings.
The screen is beautiful and a pleasure to watch. I have found that I have much less eye strain using this phone versus other phones I have used.
I have the black phone and it’s not only attractive, but it does NOT show any fingerprints despite the shiny finish.
The still photos with this camera are amazing and the portrait mode is simply stunning. Video is very good and the sound quality picked up by the microphones is excellent.
Google assistant has been improved. It can answer inquiries and perform functions within the phone itself, without having to connect to the internet. It’s abilities are far too numerous for me to list here. But, among my favorites is call screening.
When you receive a call you can answer, decline or have the Google Assistant answer the call. It will ask who is calling and what is the purpose of the call. The answer is transcribed on the phone in real time. You can then prompt the assistant to ask further questions or tell the party calling that you will return their call. And, of course you can answer the call yourself at any time.
This is great when you are getting those 800 number calls which you don’t recognize and are usually robo calls.
There is also a recording app that will record and transcribe any speech in real time. When you play it back you can search for a phrase or name you are looking for and it will go right to that part of the recording.
In Google lens you can click on on any text and instantly have it translated.
Google has Tips and Support built into the Settings menu and I would suggest that you spend the time reading through it to find all of the features of the phone. There are also some very good Tips and Tricks videos online.
Google has decided to use face unlock on this phone and to remove the fingerprint scanner. The face unlock is fast and accurate.
However, since there is no fingerprint scanner I must enter my username and password to open all of my banking and credit card apps. This is very annoying, but I know it’s only a matter of time before these apps are updated to accept face unlock.
So why only 4 stars? The weak link on this phone is the battery. Battery life is not great. I'm able to get up to 4 hours of display on time which sometimes gets me through the day. In the 1 week I have used the phone I have had to charge it during the day about half of the time. I find myself checking the battery level far too often and therefore I deducted 1 star.
The bottom line is that I love this phone, but if you are a heavy user then either be prepared to charge during the day or look elsewhere.

Hard to improve on the best

It’s difficult to improve on the best home assistant speaker, but that’s exactly what Google had to do.
I currently have 6 of the original Google Mini speakers throughout my home. Our whole family uses them for weather, general information and searches, making phone calls, recipes, music, personal calendars and setting reminders.
The speakers are very attractive, have a small footprint and surprisingly good sound quality for its size.
Google has now introduced the updated version which is called the Google Nest mini.
It looks very similar is size and shape to the original, however, the outside material is now made from recycled material. If you look at it side by side with the original, you can see the difference. The original has a sheen to the material which makes it look a little more expensive.
Google managed to increase the size of the internal speaker without changing the outside dimensions. This results in noticeably more bass. This is helpful when listening to music but doesn’t affect any other function of the speaker.
The Google Assistant has been built into the speaker so that some inquiries can be answered locally without having to access the internet. This is supposed to speed up certain actions and responses. Personally, I think the assistant works so well on the original that I really don’t notice the difference unless you're looking for it.
And finally, the Nest Mini will detect your hands when the are placed over the speaker and light up the points where you can touch the speaker to raise or lower the volume, and you can pause music. It’s nice but unnecessary as It’s easy to just tap the speaker without the lights or you could simply control these functions by voice.
In summary, Google had a tough task to improve on what I consider to be the best assistant speaker on the market.
The improvements are nice but not significant.
If you are looking to buy a home assistant speaker, or several, then I would highly recommend the Nest Mini, as it retains the crown as the best assistant speaker at a very good price.
However, if you already have the original, there is no immediate need to upgrade.

Replaes Two Appliances on Countertop

My wife has been asking for an air fryer for a long time. But with countertop real estate at a premium, and with space already occupied by a large toaster oven, I have always refused. Now Chefman has created a product that combines both appliances into one. The footprint is equal to the toaster oven that we currently have. So, goodbye to the toaster oven and hello to the Chefman.
The first thing that the instruction manual states is to clean the oven before the first use. I highly recommend that you clean the interior. I found that the heating elements were covered with a black graphite type of coating, probably used in the manufacturing process. It took several paper towels to remove this black coating, which likely would have made its way onto your food if not removed.
The product has 4 dials at the front which operate time, temperature, type of cooking and toast light to dark setting.
The dials are large, well spaced and intuitive. However, the only indicator of where the dial is set is a notch that is the same color as the dial and recessed toward the rear of the dial. This prevents you from checking on the remaining time or other setting from any distance. Instead you are forced to go right up to the oven, in a well lit area to see the notch. And with the timer, once you turn it past a certain point, you have to either feel for the notch or bend down to look under the dial. A simple black dot on the front of the dials would alleviate this issue. Also, making the notch a contrasting color would help.
The first thing I did was toast. I placed the bread in the center of the middle rack as described in the instructions. However, I found that the bread was much darker on the bottom than on the top. I had to move the rack to the highest level and invert the rack which raised the bread an additional inch higher in order to get evenly toasted bread. A little inconvenient, however problem solved.
Then I tried air frying and convection cooking and this is where this product shined. The foods, chicken, fish and potatoes cooked quickly and evenly. The texture of the food was excellent.
Fan noise was minimal, in fact much less than other air fryers and convection ovens that I have seen.
One important note is that the oven vents from the rear. So it is important to move the oven as far away from the wall as possible to prevent your cabinets from getting warm. The instruction manual says 2-4” from the wall, but I say more than that or better yet, if you have a counter top area without cabinets, that is where I would recommend that you place it while cooking.
So overall, I am happy with this product, especially the convection cooking and air frying, and that you get the best of a toaster oven and air fryer in one product.
The negatives, I consider them to be minor inconveniences that are outweighed by the positives.

Excellent cleaning, easy to use features

The Shark Ion Robot Vacuum R76 is similar in appearance to most other robotic vacuums, however, there are some distinct differences in features and design.
To start with, it has 2 spinning side brushes which look like 2 arms reaching out to gather the dust and bring it into the vacuum. I found this feature to be very effective, especially around walls and corners.
To set up the Shark, you first must attach the 2 side brushes which simply snap on. Then plug in the dock, place the vacuum in the dock and turn the power switch on. My vacuum came with a 50% charge.
While the vacuum is charging, you should download the Shark Clean app to familiarize yourself with the features and instructions, and connect it to your wifi network.
The app downloaded quickly and was very easy to understand and follow. The app allows you to start, send to dock, schedule cleaning, and see a history of the days and times of use. It also gives you operational tips every time you open the app.
You can also start, dock and set cleaning to max with easy to see push buttons on the top of the vacuum.
I live in a large condominium apartment, 2000 square feet, with hard flat floors throughout, with some thick mats in the kitchen and the bathrooms.
The Shark was able to navigate the entire apartment, going over the mats with ease. It is designed for all types of surfaces. After 5 days of use it only got stuck once. That was under a small kitchen table with 4 chairs. That's 16 chair legs in a very small area, so that's understandable. And, it may have eventually figured a way out had I not decided t rescue it.
As a vacuum it is excellent, effectively picking up dust and hair. The floors were very clean and the dust bin is easily accessed and emptied. I found the after 1 hour of use there was 70% power remaining, and after 2 hours of use there was 35-40% remaining.
The Shark will return to the dock when it senses the battery is low. I found that it would return to the dock after 60 minutes, however you could send it right back out to clean for another hour if necessary.
The noise level is low for a vacuum. So low that I had to use the Find Shark button in the app to locate it in my apartment.
Shark includes extra side cleaning brushes, an extra filter and 8' of boundary marker to put down in areas where you do not want the Shark to go.
There are some things that you should be aware of.
First, when you tell the Shark to go to dock, the dock button on the vacuum will immediately light up and beep. However, it may not immediately return to the dock. I found that it could take up to 10 minutes while the Shark continues to clean and then eventually it goes to the dock. This appears to be normal, so don't think that it is not working should it not immediately return to the dock.
Second, the Shark is designed to be used with voice commands from Google Assistant and Alexa. However, the instructions provided to link your device to Google were incorrect. It must be set up thru Google Assistant app, not Google Home as stated. Shark is aware of this and in the process of correcting it. As of the time of this review I was able to link my Shark account to my Google assistant, however the voice commands are in the process of being activated by Shark. So I was not able to try out the voice command feature. Once this feature is activated you will be able to tell Google to have the Shark clean, pause and dock.
And finally, this is a slimmer design than many other robotic vacuums allowing it to get under more types of furniture. However, it was not slim enough to under my sofas, chests or dressers. It was only able to go under the beds and tables.
Overall, I love my Shark. It cleans effectively, it's easy to operate and empty. I would highly recommend this product to family and friends.

It's great when a product says what it does, and does what it says without any issues.
Out of the box the first thing you notice is just how small and light it is. The transmitter is about 1 3/4" x1 1/4"x1/4".
It comes with a 3.5mm cable, a USB charging cable and a carry case.
Charging and pairing via Bluetooth was very easy with the help of a very small but easy to follow instruction manual.
This product is great for airline travel of you are using wireless headphones and want to use the airlines entertainment unit. I had hoped to use this at my gym for watching the built in TV units on their treadmills, however my gym had disconnected the 3.5mm cable jack.
When fully charged the battery should last up to 8 hours.
The only downside is that there is no volume control. I have Sony ear buds
that don't have a volume control and they sound was pretty low. When I tried it with headphones that had a volume control, this was not an issue.
Overall I am very happy with this product and would recommend it.

Will not connect to car radio with Bluetooth

I have a 2014 Audi A4 which has Bluetooth connectivity allowing me to make and receive phone calls through the audio system. However, if I want to do navigation, send texts or use the Google Assistant I have to do that through my android phone. The auxiliary connection in my car is located in the glove compartment so that any device that had to be connected would require a wire running from my glove compartment. Not ideal.
So when I saw the ROAV Bolt which states that it can do all of those things through Bluetooth I couldn’t wait to try it out.
Unfortunately it will not connect to my sound system thru Bluetooth, only through the 3.5 mm auxiliary connection.
In addition, you must keep your radio on auxiliary, therefore not allowing you to listen to the radio. The only music you can listen to is what you stream from your phone.
Now maybe, the Bluetooth issue is isolated to my car or only to certain makes and models. However, if this is the case then the manufacturer should list the makes and models it may not work with.
One more problem is created by the design of the product. The 12 volt connection in my car is in a recessed area. The Bolt fits in but it is very difficult if not impossible to connect the auxiliary cable and USB cables. This forced me to place the Bolt in the center console, so that every time I would have to press a button I would have to lift up the console cover to access the buttons or to see the status lights. And the auxiliary cable would have to be very long.
It seems to me that it is easier to just have your phone out of your pocket because you can summon the Google Assistant by voice, without having to touch your phone. And, if you have a newer car with Android Auto, this product is just not necessary.
I am very disappointed in this product and cannot recommend it.
So when I saw the ROAV Bolt which states that it can do all of those things through Bluetooth I couldn’t wait to try it out.
Unfortunately it will not connect to my sound system thru Bluetooth, only through the 3.5 mm auxiliary connection.
In addition, you must keep your radio on auxiliary, therefore not allowing you to listen to the radio. The only music you can listen to is what you stream from your phone.
Now maybe, the Bluetooth issue is isolated to my car or only to certain makes and models. However, if this is the case then the manufacturer should list the makes and models it may not work with.
One more problem is created by the design of the product. The 12 volt connection in my car is in a recessed area. The Bolt fits in but it is very difficult if not impossible to connect the auxiliary cable and USB cables. This forced me to place the Bolt in the center console, so that every time I would have to press a button I would have to lift up the console cover to access the buttons or to see the status lights. And the auxiliary cable would have to be very long.
It seems to me that it is easier to just have your phone out of your pocket because you can summon the Google Assistant by voice, without having to touch your phone. And, if you have a newer car with Android Auto, this product is just not necessary.
I am very disappointed in this product and cannot recommend it.

The HP OfficeJet Pro 9015 is an attractive printer with a small footprint which makes it suitable for the office or home.
It performs all of the basic functions the you would expect ie: print, scan, copy and fax, plus a lot more.
The HP Smart app now has Smart Tasks. This allows you to create customizable shortcuts to print or scan from any device and immediately send that document to any email or saved to the cloud service of your choice, including Drop Box, One Drive, Google Docs, Box, QuickBooks and more.
You can camera scan from your phone, then edit the document and have it sent immediately to any of the above destinations.
You can print from anywhere there is a cell signal or wifi. Print photos from My Photos or online from Facebook and Instagram.
Set up was quick and easy. It prints a fast 22 ppm black and 18 ppm color. The print quality is excellent with crisp clear images and accurate color. The paper tray holds 250 sheets and the output tray can hold up to 60 pages. There is an automatic document feeder which is also very fast and accurate. It uses 4 ink cartridges (#962), 3 color and 1 black and is also HP Instant Ink compatible. I have been using Instant Ink for the past 2 years on my OfficeJet 8720 and have been very happy with the service. The digital display is small, but extremely clear and you can adjust the brightness as well as the angle of the screen.
It also has Quick Forms built in, which will allow you to quickly print a calendar, fax cover sheets, graph and notebook paper, music sheets, games and checklists.
The Smart app will also tell you how much ink you have left in each cartridge, and how much paper and the type of paper you have left in your paper tray.
The printer is designed to work with Google Assistant, Alexa and Apple iBeacon, however, at the time of this review, that feature is not yet functional.
In summary, this is the best printer I have ever owned. It is extremely customizable for your particular needs and the print quality is excellent. I would highly recommend this printer.

Mostly better than Bose, but..

I have used Bose headphones for the past few years and currently own the QC-35, to which I will compare these new Sony headphones.
The Sony WH-1000 MX3 come is a very well designed case which is compartmentalized is a way that allows you to put away the headphones in the dark without fumbling around. There is a place for the included USB C charging cord as well as the airplane adapter and wired connection cable.
The headband is designed to be closer to the head than the Bose, which gives the appearance of the headphones being less bulky when wearing them. However, the earcups are still noticeably wider than the Bose. This, however, is probably due to all of the additional tech that Sony has put into these headphones.
These are very comfortable headphones and the earcups are very soft agianst the head. But the Bose are lighter and still more comfortable when wearing for an extended period of time. As comfortable as the Sony headphones are, there was never a time that I could honestly say that I forgot I was wearing them. I can honestly say that with the Bose.
When I tried to power on the headphones I was surprised to find that they had arrived completely dead. I charged them for the recommended 3 hours, but it only held the charge for about 20 minutes, the time it took to do the update. Then it died and the power went to zero. I had to charge it overnight before it would fully charge and maintain the power.
Once it was fully charged and powered on I was finally able to appreciate the true brilliance of these headphones.
I found the sound to be superior to the Bose. Though a little too bassy for me, I was able to adjust it to my listening taste with the help of the equalization settings in the app.
There are only 2 buttons. They are on the left earcup, and they are easy to locate and very intuitive. When powered on, a press of the power button will tell you how much power you have left, however, Bose will announce that automaically every time you turn the power on, which I prefer.
I love the gesture controls on the right earcup. These allow you to control volume, skip ahead and go back and answer calls. However, my favorite gesture is cupping the right earcup. This will stop noise cancellation and lower the volume so that you may hear conversation. Technology way ahead of Bose.
I also like the Noise Canceling Optimizer. With the touch of a button, the headphones perform a quick test which analyzes how you are waearing your headphones. It can detect if you are wearing glasses or earrings, how you are wearing your hair or anything else that may be affecting noise cancellation. It then makes the necessary adjustments in order to maximize noise cancellation. This is not a gimmick. It actually works. Brilliant technology and useful.
In direct comparison, the Sony noise cancellation is better in 2 ways.
1) It's simply quieter
2) Sony uses a technology that does not cause pressure in your ear, as the Bose tends to do. Even after you are use to it, you will notice it on a very long flight.
The Sony app is also superior. It allows for sound cutomization and ambient sound customization.
It can detect your current activity, such as walking or traveling, and will automatically adjust the ambient sound to your environment.
And I can tell you that I found this to be effective and accurate.
Sony has installed a microphone on each earpiece to improve telephone conversation quality. I found call conversation to be clear on both ends of the call.
Sony claims 30 hours of battery with noise cancellation. Bose claims 20-25. I have never come close to running out of power with the Bose and I expect the same from Sony. Where Sony comes out ahead is a 10 minute charge will give you 5 hours of play time.
You can also setup Google Assistant, which is also available on the Bose. I like this feature and find it helpful.
Where Sony fails is on quality control. There is a big difference in the quality control between the left earpiece and right earpiece. The right earpiece foam cup and interior material is sewn in smoothly. But the left earcup material was sewn in improperly and is bunched up. This, along with the initial battery issues, should not happen on high end headphones. Bose never had this issue.
The other issue I have is that these headphones will only connect to 1 device at a time. The Bose will connect to 2 devices simultaneously. This allows me to watch a movie on a tablet or laptop, and if I receive a call or text, the Bose will automatically pause the movie, announce my call or text and allow me to repond. After i hangup, I can continue watching the movie. This comes in very handy at airport terminals. Unless this is a patented Bose technology, there is no excuse for Sony to not incorporate this feature into all of the headphones.
In summary, these are excellent headphones that I will use and problably love. The Sony technology is state of the art and way ahead of Bose. I would be happy to recommend them, however, I am not throwing out my Bose just yet.

To start with, the P65 F1 is easy to unpack and the stand, which consists of 2 legs is very easy to install. Each leg will only fit one way and only on the correct side. You simply use 2 screws in each leg and your done.
At 2.7" deep, this is not the thinnest tv on the market, but neither is it too thick From the front, this is a beautiful tv.with a bezel-less design around the top and sides. There is a very attractive 1/2" silver bezel along the bottom. Vizio put their name all the way to the right and the power indicator all the way to the left, so that neither are noticeable when watching tv.
When you turn the tv on it will walk you through the setup which is quick and simple. After you attach your soundbar, Bluray etc. and you are ready to go.
Vizio has pre-calibrated settings: Calibrated, Calibrated Dark, Vivid, Game, Computer and Standard. And of course these settings can be further customized by you. For the most part I have watched in Calibrated mode.
And what a great picture.My first reaction was "Wow this picture is bright!" And for those of you interested in black levels, with this tv blacks are black. No purples or other distortions of black.
Watching sports and been great with no blur when a baseball is thrown or a golf ball is in flight.
If you want a quick look at what the tv is capable of you can go to the Youtube app and watch 4k videos. They are really impressive.
Watching a Bluray movie, whether in 4K or not, is also dramatically better than anything I have seen on a tv.
Casting is quick with 6 preset app buttons on the remote as well as a dedicatied Vizio Cast button. The remote is small and not backlit, however, it is well laid out and very intuitive so that backlighting is not neccessary.It is also very comfortable in the hand.
I have Google Home speakers and with this tv I can ask Google to turn on the tv. When the tv turns on, my soundbar automatically turns on. The same goes when turning it off. Of course you can also ask Google to turn on a particular show on a specific app, and play, pause, etc. It is nice to not have to attach streaming devices to your tv.
The quality of picture you see is very source dependent. Streaming and Bluray are terrific. Cable box is very good though not quite as impressive since the signal source is 1080i.
The only negative to this tv is off angle viewing which is inherent in a VA panel. The tradeoff being that you get much better contrast. However, the only time I noticed this was when I had my computer connected and the screen was all white. During regular programming it was not noticeable at all.
I won't go into specs as they are clearly listed on the BestBuy website.
Overall, this is a great tv that i think will meet or exceed your expectations. Vizio has done a great job providing a user interface which is logical, simple to follow and won't overwhelm anyone who may not be comfortable with technology. I would buy it agian and would highly recommend it.

One Major Flaw Brings It Down

The LG SK10Y soundbar gives a great first impression. It is large, attractive and appears to be very high quality. Setup is very quick and easy despite the minimal instructions that come in the box. I would immediately download the app and the full set of instructions that can be downloaded from the LG website. Pairing with the sub was also easy
In the box you get an optical cable, mounting hardware, a remote and batteries. The remote is small with a simple layout that is responsive and easy to operate intuitively.
I connected my cable box and an Amazon fire stick thru HDMi and a Bluray thru the optical input. All connections functioned perfectly.
I also have Google Home speakers and Android phones which can cast music to the sounbar. This function worked well and the sound was excellent.
The remote allows you to control the subwoofer, bass, treble, overhead volume control for the up firing speakers and rear speakers, which are not included.
There are various soundfields available including, ASC (adaptive sound control) which instantly analyzes the sound and optimizes the output, Bass Blast (reinforces the bass), Standard (tuned by Meridian), Music, and Movie (which gives a more immersive sound).
And this is where the biggest problem lies. When watching in movie mode the dialogue gets completely washed out and hollow sounding. And there is no ability to adjust the individual speaker volumes. A center channel speaker control is absolutely necessary. If you cant hear the dialogue then all of the sound effects in the world are useless.
So I am forced to watch movies in either Bass Blast or Standard. In both cases the dialogue comes through clear and the overall experience is good but not quite as immersive as the movie mode was intended to be.
The only other issue that I have had has been the mobile app losing its connection to the soundbar and then being unable to locate the soundbar in order to reconnect. This happens quite frequently.
This soundbar is well built and has the potential to be excellent. If LG can somehow correct the dialogue issue in Movie mode and or enable some type of volume control for the indvidual speakers, especially the center channel, then I would definitely recommend this soundbar. However, until that issue is resolved, I cannot recommend this.

NO, the keyboard and the mouse are completely wireless without any way to connect by wire. You would have to get a wired keyboard and mouse and attach them via usb to the back of the computer

I am not familiar with the Xbox, but this computer does have an HDMI IN port, so if the Xbox has an HDMI OUT, I think it might work.

Hi. I just bought this and the screen continually adjusts the brightness/contrast automatically. I've searched everywhere and did the fixes stated online but with no improvement. Has anyone else had this issue? Thanks!
I don't have this problem. I did install all of the driver updates, and there were a lot ( maybe 20). Try using the Dell Support Assist to locte and install all of the driver updates and see if that helps.

Hello, I bought the my xps 2 days ago. I am really concern about the cooling system because it is way too warm. Compare to my friend MacBook Air, it's Much warmer. Does anybody feel the laptop too warm? Even when It is just on charge Or in light use...
I found it to be hot while installing all of the driver updates, but it has been cool since. Make sure to install all of the driver updates. There are a lot of them.

what type of anti virus software does it have?
Windows Defender Security Center is the only one provided. I have found it to be the best. It is effective, does not slow down your computer and it is free from Microsoft . It should be the only one you will need.
