Nothing to 'Wine' About, This Device Is Amazing!

Design:
The Coravin Model Two Wine System is a beautifully built device. Upon opening the box, I immediately noticed the premium look and feel. It is not only appealing but also perfectly functional for its use. The clamp is textured and rubberized, which makes it easy to hold and clamp onto a wine bottle. On top of the device is a handle for pouring the wine and the gas release button is close by, so only one hand is needed on the handle and the other can be used to stabilize the bottle.

Ease of Use:
After opening the box, you are only a few steps away from pouring a glass of wine. Simply clamp the Coravin onto a bottle of wine, insert the needle by pressing down on the top of the device with your palm, pressurize the bottle at the press of a button, tilt and pour it over a glass until you have the desired amount, then remove the needle, and the cork reseals itself. I love how easy the Coravin is to use, and the only maintenance required is rinsing the spout and clearing the needle by pressing the gas release button after each use.

The iXpand Base has a sleek and appealing design, so it not only looks great on my nightstand but also takes up little space. At first glance, you may not notice a few design aspects that turn out to be quite convenient. For example, the top of the base is rubberized which prevents slippage when placing a phone on top. Additionally, there is a groove at the bottom of the base that helps keep the cable in place, and the remainder of the cable can be coiled up inside the iXpand Base. The base plugs into the wall, then you will need to use an iPhone cable that you currently own to connect the base to your phone since that cable is not included. I just wish that there was also a wireless charging capability built in for the iPhone 8. Although I understand that the cord is needed for backup purposes, it would be nice if you could choose to only charge an iPhone 8 wirelessly, since the base is designed to have the phone lay on top anyway.

Setting up the IONFlex was quick and simple, although it took a while to charge the battery to full capacity. One slight downside to the design is that you will need to find a good spot to store the various attachments, since they do not attach to the vacuum for storing. In my opinion, this is just a minor inconvenience because it is such a small and lightweight vacuum. I like that the vacuum folds for easy storage and stands upright without leaning it against a wall. In addition, I appreciate the ease of emptying the vacuum’s dust bin when it’s full. The IONFlex is well-designed to complement its functionality, performance, and versatility.

Its small size and lightweight design added to that skepticism, but that immediately went away when I started using this vacuum. The suction power is very impressive. I do not notice a decline in performance when using it for extended periods of time. It seems to perform great all the way until it is out of battery. The battery lasts quite a while, but there is always the backup battery if you need more time. This vacuum exceeds my performance expectations.

Ease of use and appearance are important to me for kitchen appliances of any size, and Keurig delivers on both factors with the K-Select.

Simple & Versatile Home Security Camera

The Logitech Circle 2 is small and versatile. You can place it just about anywhere including outdoors because of the waterproof design. However, certain setup locations, such as a wall outlet or on a window, will require an accessory which must be purchased separately. Initial setup was quick and easy for the most part. I did experience an issue where the required firmware update would not install and I had to reset the camera a couple of times for it to install successfully. However, the Circle 2 was ready to go within a few minutes after the firmware update decided to install, which was an automated and wireless process. Logitech did a great job with the sleek design and appearance of the Circle 2. I just wish the setup would have been successful the first time.

Reliable Roomba

The Roomba 690’s small size allows it to navigate seamlessly throughout our home. It is about 13 inches wide and almost 4 inches tall. The height is perfect for fitting under chairs, sofas, and other hard to reach areas. The Roomba can be activated by pressing the button on top of the machine or in the mobile app, and I have found both methods to be equally reliable. This is the same for returning the Roomba to its dock. A button is on the top of the Roomba and in the app. I like that the dock is small and does not take up much additional space when the Roomba is docked. Also, the cord for the dock is fairly long, so it gives you flexibility with your placement.

The Ninja Coffee Bar Brewer has a sleek and modern design that is very appealing. Upon opening the box, I had a positive first impression of the brewer. I like the combination of stainless steel and black, which looks great in our kitchen. I also like that this Ninja brewer is not very wide. It fit perfectly on our kitchen countertop and does not take up much space. The only possible downside to the design is that the brewer is somewhat tall (about 14 inches), so if you do not have that much space between your countertop and cabinets, it will not fit. However, this was not an issue for us. Our family really loves the design!

Crystal-Clear Audio, but Annoying Cord & Controls

The JLab Epic2s are lightweight, compact, and secure. These are great qualities to have for sport earbuds but, unfortunately, there are some negative aspects of the design that disappoint and annoy me. The cord is very thin and long. While the thinness helps make the headphones lightweight and clips are included to shorten the length, it easily tangles and bends in a variety of ways over the course of my workouts, especially because the inline controller is rather large. No matter how I configure the included cord clips, the cord gravitates towards the right side where the controller is, which causes the cord to tighten and tug on my left ear. This is annoying enough to distract me during my workouts, so I occasionally lose focus. In addition, the controls are not very intuitive and the ear clips hurt my ears after 20-30 minutes. I really wish I liked the design/comfort more because everything else is great.

Although it is relatively large, I do not mind leaving it out on the kitchen counter because of the sleek and modern design. I appreciate that the oil drip cup slides under the grill in the back, so it is not visible. In addition, the buttons and heat control knobs are easy to use, and the illuminated display is easy to read.

The De'Longhi Livenza is the most versatile grill I have used. Many of my favorite meals can be cooked on the Livenza thanks to the swappable grill plates. For example, I like how I can make pancakes in the morning then grill burgers for dinner. Cleaning the grill plates is a breeze because of the non-stick surfaces, and they are dishwasher safe.

The Roomba i6 does not have a mopping feature, but it does have “Imprint Link Technology” which syncs it with a Braava Jet m6 (sold separately) to vacuum then mop in perfect sequence.
