A great and easy to set up Projector

To start off the packaging on this is done very well. There is a lot of styrofoam and other protection to keep the items all separated from each and safe. The box itself is about 26”X20”x10” and weighs about 30 lbs. In the box you get the Home Cinema 4000 Projector, a power cord, some HDMI clamps for supporting the HDMI cables, a remote with batteries, a CD Rom with user guide, and a Quick Setup Guide.
The set up for this is very easy. Much easier than expected. And the quick setup guide is very easy to follow. First step is where to place the projector. Either set it up so that its either level with the top or bottom of the screen and centered. There are other options if needed but this is the ideal location. If you cant have it level with the top of bottom of the screen due to your set up and space you can use the lens shift feature to get it aligned. This is explained it the next section. The next step is connecting your video sources, in my case this is my XBOX One S with HDR. Turn on the video source, then connect the power cord from the projector. Turn on the projector using the remote, or the device. You are now ready to set up the projector for your specific set up, settings, sources, etc.
Once the initial set up is complete its now onto setting the image to your liking. This is easily done by pressing the pattern button on the remote which will give you an image that helps you with the alignment. You then just adjust the feet on the front of the projector to get it aligned where you want it. Once aligned you can now focus the image by pressing the lens button on the remote and the left and right buttons to get it into focus. This same lens button also helps you adjust the size and the position of the image as well. If the image is good you are now all set up.
Once the initial set up is complete its now onto setting the image to your liking. This projector is also 3D compatible. If you want to view 3D content you will need a 3D video compatible device as well as Epson 3D glasses. Epson has some compatible glasses if you want 3D, they are part # V12H548006. I personally am not into 3D anymore. I tried it a few times with a previous device, but its nice that this is 3D compatible.
For the sound set up it was not hard at all. We already have a receiver with external speakers so its as simple as connecting the receiver via HDMI to the projector and my XBOX One S. From here it on to enjoying Netflix HDR, Amazon Video, and of course HDR gaming as well. The remote is very nice with all the buttons laid out well, without overdoing it. The quality here is top notch. I am very happy with this projector and look forward to connecting more devices in the future such as the new XBOX One X when it releases. I cant only imagine how great content and gaming will look. If you are looking for a projector than this is is a great choice. Highly recommended. Thanks for reading.

The Bots are taking over!!

My Skynet controlled vacuum is great. As long as it doesnt get aggressive its welcome here in my house. All kidding aside this is a great vacuum. This is my first automatically controlled vacuum and I really like it. We have dogs, and of course dogs constantly shed so its great to be able to pick up all that hair, not to mention how fun it is for dogs to chase it around as it cleans up after them!
The vacuum has a lot of power, surprisingly so. You would think something like this wouldnt be as strong as a standard vacuum but it is. Another cool feature is how it auto adjust the suction power based on the surface its on. So it can go from your carpet to the hard wood floor and it will adjust its power accordingly.
The Wi-Fi connectivity and Powerbot app makes it a lot of fun to remote control as well. Its like having a radio control car and vacuum combined so your having fun and cleaning at the same time! Having trouble getting your kids to help clean because they are always on their smartphone? Well this should solve that. Tell them you have a cool new game you just discovered. Its called "Powerbot". They can stay on their phone and use the Powerbot app to help vacuum as well. They will have no excuse not to help.
You can also schedule specific times for it to run as well. It has a run time of up to 90 minutes which is plenty for me, and when its done it it will automatically return to the charging station to charge. I wish more of my devices could charge themselves.
Maintenance of the vacuum is very easy as well. When the dust bin is full you can empty it with one button. Then cleaning of the dustbin and filter is as easy as running it under water. Then reassembles easily. And when you want to give it a more thorough cleaning the brush , shutter and driving wheels arent hard to clean either. The brush and shutter are removable for cleaning, and the drive wheels can be cleaned out with a pair of tweezers to get all the gunk off. The entire cleaning maintenance takes about 10 minutes if that, then your back at it. Or more accurately your personal cleaning bot is back at it. Its crazy how far technology has come.
So overall this is a great way to vacuum, and not to mention fun as well. The convenience of self cleaning, self charging, a powerful suction, and overall coolness factor make this a great choice. Highly recommended.

First of all this thing looks awesome. The black and chrome are sleek. It not only fits in to any kitchen, but adds to the overall look. The set up is very easy and has a very nice color “Get Started” guide to get you going. It tackles a wide variety of foods like pancakes in the morning, a grilled cheese for lunch, then chicken or burgers for dinner. It has a drip tray to collect excess oil or grease for cleaner, healthier cooking. It comes with a spatula and 2 sets of plates. Another very cool feature is the app that gives you a digital cookbook. You can learn new recipes and cook things you never have before for new meals. There is a large LCD with clear settings and temps visible. The cooking surface has plenty of space and cooks evenly and as thoroughly as you like. You want something well done (which is the way I like it), or medium, rare? No problem. For me the best feature is how easy it is to clean up after. Just put the plates in your dishwasher and you are all set. The Delonghi grill is an awesome addition to any kitchen, whether your a skilled cook, or just someone that wants that perfect grilled cheese, and everything in between.

The unboxing is fairly simple, and presented well. In the box is the earbuds, neckband, and a separate box with the tone accessories which are the manual, a USB charge cable, and an extra set of ear gels size small. First thing to do is charge them. This is done by inserting the ear buds into the neckband where they clip in easily, then inserting the included USB cable into the neckband. You'll need a USB port with power for this. It took about a little less than an hour to charge them to full for the first time.
The pairing process was very simple. I just powered on the neck band, then went into the Bluetooth settings of my phone (Oneplus 3T). Then selected the earbuds from the available devices. It instantly paired and was ready to go. Each earbud has a single multi function button that is easy to find. You can use this to answer calls, pause and play audio, and double tap to select the next track while listening to music. Call audio was clear with no issues hearing, although the audio in calls only plays through the left earbud. The music audio was pretty flat though and not very loud even at full volume. Im use to the loudness, clarity and bass from another set of wireless earbuds I have and the LG's just didnt sound very good by comparison. The volume is controlled via the device it is connected to.
The main issue for me though is the fitment. In my ears they would definitely not work for any sort of exercise like jogging, or cycling. They fall out easily since they dont have the arc supporters to help them stay in my ear. Even with moderate head movement they fall out. This isnt to say this will happen to everyone, maybe my ears are just different.
So overall these are decent earbuds, but just didnt work out for me. Especially when you consider how much more expensive they are compared to other wireless earbuds.

Great cordless Shaver to keep my Goatee groomed

This shaver has made keeping my face shaved and my Goatee the way I like it very easy. It shaves nice and close without the need of a razor or cream with the rotating head. But it will work with gel or foam in or out of the shower. And the 45 degree razor trimmer makes getting my side burns perfect. I also use the trimmer to get in close to my Goatee without worrying about shaving off hair that I want to keep. And unlike other ones I have used the trimmer slides out of the way so its not interfering with the regular shaving when you dont need it. The shaver comes with a clip in charger and a nice carrying bag as well. Ive had no issues with it running low on power while shaving. The foil head unclips easily for cleaning and can be cleaned by just rinsing it in your sink, or while showering. This is a great choice for your grooming beard and Goatee/ shaving needs.

Units needed to be too close to make sense for me.

To start off the set up itself took awhile and starts by downloading the Amped Wireless Ally Wifi app. Once downloaded you create a quick account with just and email and password. The next step is unplugging your existing modem, then plugging it back on and waiting for it to reboot fully. Then you connect the Ally router to your modem with the included ethernet cable. Next is connecting your phone to the Ally's Wifi in your phones Wifi settings. Then its personalizing your new network with a new name if you want, and a password. I continued and got an error message saying something went wrong with a dismiss option. I dismissed it then got a no internet connection message. So I had to go back into my phones Wifi settings to reconnect to Ally. I believe this is because the connections info had changed due to the password creation. I finally got a success message thinking Im all set but it needed a firmware update. This took a few minutes, then the initial set up was done.
Next was setting up the extender. This is where I ran into the main issue. I followed the instructions and plugged in the extender in an area about half way through the house. Well the house is not that big so I plugged it in in the closest room which is about 30 feet away. Any closer and it would have to literally be in the same room. Well the instructions say to wait until the LED stops blinking and depending on its color you will know the connection strength. Green = Solid, Orange = sufficient (but could be better), and Red = Weak signal move it closer. Well like I said there is no place closer in my house other than in the same room. So I had to move it into the same room about 15 feet away. This was the only way I could get a solid green. But once it was green the connection was pretty good. I had tested Wifi speeds with my phone before and after. With my original router my fastest speed with my cell was 94 mb/s download, and 12 mb/s upload. When connected to the Ally my fastest speed was 180mb/s download, and 12 mb/s upload. And the connection was strong when near one of the Ally devices. But dropped in strength and speed by more than half when in another room. This of course is just my experience and doesnt mean yours will be similar.
So overall I would say this might help some, as a replacement for my existing set up it wouldnt make sense. Yes I got better speeds with my phone when close, but it didnt really improve the overall strength of the houses Wifi. And having to have the devices so close to get a solid connection defeats the overall purpose of trying to get a strong signal through the whole house. And the house is only a single story 3 bedroom. Maybe some of these issues could be fixed via firmware updates.

Amazing Receiver with features to suit any needs.

The first thing I noticed was how heavy this thing is. The box itself weighs about 21 pounds, so Id guess the receiver alone is easily 20 pounds. It has a ton of ports and inputs as well. It has 6 HDMI inputs, 2 HDMI outputs, 4 auxiliary inputs, 1 USB port, 14 speaker connection terminals, coaxial, antenna, a headphone jack, and more. Its total power is 1155 watts and 7.2 channels. Its dimensions are 16.9” wide, 13” depth, and 6” high. It also looks awesome. It has a nice finish of black and brushed metal. It will easily blend and compliment any entertainment system.
The setup for my use was very easy. I connected my PS4 to the HDMI “game” port, and my XBOX One to the Video 1 input. Then connected the receiver to my TV via one of the two HDMI outputs. Powered on the receiver and it went right into the setup which was very simple. Just choose your language, then there are 2 optional setups for setting up the speaker calibration, then a setup of a Chromecast if you are using one. That was it. From there it was to the Home screen. The home screen is a very simple layout of tiles for choosing your inputs, or getting further into settings where you can tweak your settings for the more experienced, (Me being a novice I appreciated the simplicity of the initial set up). I chose the Game option and went it outputted my PS4 video and audio to my speakers. I also set it up to output the audio to my surround headset as well via the optical output on the receiver. The sound was excellent. And the receiver always displayed the audio format on the display so you can confirm your settings.
The receiver supports surround formats such as DTS X and Dolby Atmos. It has built in Wi-Fi, 4K pass through and is compatible with HDCP 2.2. It has content support for Youtube, Napster, Pandora, Spotify and others.
The remote is your basic remote with all the buttons you need. Its very simple and doesnt have so many buttons that it would get confusing. There are just enough shortcut buttons for easy use.
This is an amazing and powerful receiver with a ton of features for your entertainment system needs. Highly recommended. Thanks for reading.

The V8 Animal is the perfect tool for animal owners, and works for a variety of other things as well. In the box you get the cordless Vacuum, Direct Drive Cleaner Head, Mini Motorized Tool, Mini Soft Dusting Brush, Crevice Tool, and a Combination Tool. As well as the AC adapter cord for charging the Vacuum and a very convenient docking station you can screw to the wall for easy storage.
The included tools and connectors make this much more than just an animal clean up device. I really like the ability to use it to vacuum out a car without having to worry about where to plug it in. And this is just one of the many different things you can do with all the included connectors and heads. The suctions is very powerful as well. Even after vacuuming my floor with a standard vacuum it still picked up dust, dirt, as well as animal hair that the other vacuum missed. It has 2 power modes to choose from for what your needs are. If you use the lower setting you can get up to 40 minutes of power. You can also use the included extension tool to reach up high, or other hard to reach areas like under couches, etc. And since it is cordless you are not constricted by how long your power cord is, or if there is a power outlet nearby.
And once you are done it has a very easy ejection that makes it very easy to dump out everything you've picked up while cleaning. And when the filter needs cleaning you just pop it out, clean it, and your good to go. This is a great cleaning tool, and makes the not so fun job of cleaning a lot more tolerable. And its all backed up by Dysons 2 year warranty just in case you need to use it. If you are looking for an all in one tool to clean your house with pets, or for other cleaning this is a great choice.

To start I will explain what you get in the box. It comes with all the attachments you will need to keep your carpets and floors clean.

The assembly process is very easy. I am not sure why others are complaining about having to assemble it. It is a simple 4 step process of clicking the parts into place, requires no tools, and I was done in less than 5 minutes. Once it was assembled I was ready to go. I vacuumed my front room where we have our 3 dogs. I thought that since it was recently vacuumed with our other vacuum that there wouldn't be anything to pick up, I was wrong. It picked up dog hair that I couldn't even tell was there. This thing is very strong. It is also much lighter and quieter than old style vacuums.
It is also very easy to use and understand. All of the parts, buttons, etc. are labeled as to what they are and what they do. And swapping out the different tools for different jobs is also super easy. Just a press of a button for most of them and you are on to your next task. And once you are done and ready to empty the dust cup just click the release button and empty it out. No more worrying about bags which is very nice. The suction control has an easy slider to adjust the suction power based on your needs. The vacuum is very easy to roll, and with the rotating head you can get in and out of areas without having to always pick up and turn the vacuum like old style types.
In addition to the standard vacuuming style you can also use it in lift away mode so you can clean things such as stairs and above floor areas using the included accessories. Attach either the pet multi-tool, or the crevice tool to get under couches, chairs, and hard to reach areas where the full vacuum wont reach. It can also be used to clean car interiors.
This is an awesome multi function vacuum that will get all of your vacuum jobs done with ease. And it has a 5 year warranty to keep you going for years to come.

Envelop your house with strong and fast Wireless

To start I would like to describe the unboxing. The box itself for the set of 3 is about 16”x10”x5”. It has a lid that is sealed magnetically. There is a felt pull tab that opens the lid to get access to the goods. It is very well packaged with everything separated into their own compartments. And each Linksys Velop node is protected with its own cardboard sleeve. Everything is very well protected. In the box is the 3 Linksys Velop nodes, 1 Ethernet cable, 3 Power adapters, Quick Start Guide, and some printed documentation.
The set up guide is very easy, it says all you need to do to start the set up is download the Linksys app from either the App store, or the Google play store. The phone I am using is an Android Oneplus 3T so I downloaded the “Linksys Smart Wi-Fi” app from the play store. After opening the app and accepting some terms and permissions it immediately went to the Linksys Velop set up. It asks if your current set up is using a modem only, or a modem and router. In my situation I was using a modem and router prior to the Velop. It then walks you through the physical set up.
Next in the set up you plug one of the nodes in, power it on, then use the app to search for it. It took a few minutes to locate it, but the LED turned purple indicating it's ready. The next step is to connect the node to your modem with the included Ethernet cable. Press next on the app then it will search for the node. This also took a few minutes, but it found it and then said it was “working some magic”. The next step was connecting to the Velops Wifi. This is done by notating the SSID and password from the decal on the bottom of the node. After connecting you go back to the app and either log in or set up a new Linksys account to log in. Once you are logged in you now choose your own Wifi name (SSID) and password. It will then go to “configuring your Velop network”. For some unknown reason it would get stuck at this step. I tried several times to get it passed this step but it would stay at the “configuring your Velop network” for over 10 minutes. So I tried to reboot the phone, the Velop, and the modem. I also tried to wipe the app data and start from scratch, and even reset the Velop to factory settings. No matter what I did it would not continue past this step. Eventually what I ended up doing was restarting my phone, then when I started the app it was at the Dashboard in the app. I then went into the settings and was able to manually rename the default SSID and password to one of my choosing. Then the app and the first Velop node was set up.
Since the first setup didn't complete I had to manually get to the add an additional node setup. This is done in the app dashboard by clicking “setup a new product”. Once you get your additional nodes set up you are good to go. Your house should now be blanketed with strong Wifi.
Just as a note each node only has 2 Ethernet ports. So if you have several devices that you normally use wired you will only have a couple open Ethernet ports. But since the Wifi is so strong and fast you will still have plenty of speed to get things done.
Just for reference here is a couple speed tests I did. On my Oneplus 3T I got 179.19 MB/S Down and 12.11 MB/S Upload speeds. And on my desktop PC wired I got very similar speeds at 178.48 MB/S Down and 12.11 MB/S Upload. So there wasn't much of a difference between the wired and wireless speeds which cant be said for most routers out there.
If you are looking for top notch Wifi with speed and strength and no dead spots the Velop system is what you need. And with the ease of setup using the Linksys app this is an excellent whole home or office Wifi System.

I purchased this laptop a few days ago and man do I love it. This computer has everything I was looking for in a laptop (expect for an SSD) however I felt I could live without it considering the price for this machine. I have never owned an Acer always HP, had it for 7 years and it was time for an upgrade. I do really like this laptop fast, beautiful design and enough ports not to mention the PRICE again you wont be disappointed.

When I started TV shopping I did a lot of research and at first bought the 55” KS8000. I liked that but when the KS9000 went on sale I exchanged it for that. One of the main reasons I went with the 9000 was the design (mainly the stand). On the 55” version of the 8000 the legs are about 44” apart. My stand that I have been using for years for several TV's is only 42” wide. So I had to use a large piece of wood on top of my stand just to be able to set up the 8000. This didnt really look all that great, and I didnt want to have to replace my stand with a wider one. And thankfully the 9000 has a more standard V shaped stand that fits and works great on my TV stand.
And the 9000 also has some improved specs and also looks better in my opinion. I didnt really like the glossy back of the 8000. Anyway I really love this TV. Ive had several Samsungs, and my last set was the JU7100. But decided it was time to upgrade. I dont really miss the lack of 3D because I think I literally only used it once on my 7100 to test it. And I do believe 3D is on its way to being extinct. Anyway the new thing now of course is HDR. And the KS9000 really takes advantage of that. It simply looks amazing. There are several Netflix shows that show what HDR is all about. And I also recently bought the new XBOX ONE S. Ive yet to buy an HDR Bluray, but I will soon. But as I mentioned there is plenty of HDR on Netflix and Amazon Video in the meantime.
One of the really cool new features this years Samsung TV's has its the new Tizen system. It is much more simple and streamlined this year. My favorite feature so far is how well the TV detects whatever device you are connecting and names it accordingly. I have a PS3, PS4, XBOX ONE, 360, and a PC laptop all connected to my TV. And it names them all without me having to do anything. The PS3 and PS4 are both automatically labeled as “Playstation”. And the XBOX One and 360 are both labeled by their full names each. I didnt have to type out names like I have before when customizing my input names. As you can tell I have a lot of things connected to my TV. And since it has 4 HDMI ports I use 2 HDMI 3 way splitters. They automatically switch to whatever source is powered on. So my system is set up like this:
HDMI 1 = Direct TV
HDMI 2 = PS3 and PS4
HDMI 3 = XBOX ONE S
HDMI 4 = PC, Wii U, and XBOX 360
HDMI 2 = PS3 and PS4
HDMI 3 = XBOX ONE S
HDMI 4 = PC, Wii U, and XBOX 360
The reason I am listing these all out is because I want to add how smart this TV is. It switches the settings, input name, and device type on HDMI 4 on its own depending on whichever one is powered on. And I have different settings for PC and the Wii U and 360. I use to have to manually switch the input type every time I went from one to the other. But when I power off a device it automatically switches all the settings and input types on its own.
Of course a review of a TV without talking about picture quality isnt complete so here we go. Simply put its amazing. The colors and picture are awesome. It also has very good motion handling, especially if you set Auto Motion plus to Auto. But this gives you the dreaded SOE (Soap Opera Effect). Which I really dont care for. So I use a custom setting for Auto Motion (Blur 3, Judder 3, and LED Clear Off). This gives it very good motion handling with very little SOE.
As you read above I am a gamer. And one of the main things I look for when TV shopping is the input lag (or lack thereof). And this is one of the best TV's released this year for low input lag. In Game mode the lag is only 20.5 ms. This is great, I dont notice any lag at all. I was also thinking of getting the Sony X930D but decided not to for a few reasons, one of those is that it has about 54ms of lag. This isnt terrible, but would be noticeable in my opinion.
The other main reason I went with the Samsung over the Sony is that I am still not sold on the Android Smart platform. I tested it on a 2015 Sony and it was just too buggy. I have read it is better this year, but in my opinion the new Tizen is much better.
Another thing I look for in TV's is a good USB media player for videos on hard drives. And Im happy to say that the Samsung recognizes and plays every single file type I have tested. It also has SRT subtitle support.
So overall I am very happy with this TV. It is by far the nicest set I have ever owned and I look forward to years of use with it. If you are looking for a new HDR 4K TV this should be on the top of your list. If you want a cheaper alternative go with the KS8000. Just be aware on the 55” version of the 44” wide legs. On the larger versions the 8000 has optional closer leg mounts, but for some reason Samsung did not do this on the 55” version. Anyway thanks for reading. The one issue I am having is that the source list and its icons go blank every couple days, sometimes more. This is a known issue and apparently Samsung is looking into it. As a work around you can hold down the power button on the remote to force it to reboot. This brings the source list back, but its still an issue. Its only the upper source list, the lower one doesnt go away. If you own the set you'll know what I mean by the upper one. Thankfully this is an issue that can be fixed via firmware update, but as of 1131 (9-23-16) it still happens. If it gets fixed Ill try to update my review.

I know these have better battery life than the previous gens but have you had them actually run out on you? I have 2 sets of Gen 2's now that I just swap out when one headset dies and then start charging it. I use my A50's for all my TV audio not just gaming so they run out after about 5 hours or so, so Im hoping that the Gen 3's will always have enough battery to get through the day as long as I set them back on the charger when not using them. Thanks

I have owned A40s and currently own a pair of last gen A50s. The new A50s make a lot of great improvements over last gen. No chat cable is great and the docking station acts as an external sound card for the PC and does not require an optical cable for full 7.1 which is awesome. Audio quality seems to be better that the old A50s. I would occasionally get some low buzzing noise in the old model but the new ones are crisp and have no such issues so far. Battery life is significantly improved and the auto shut off is a welcome addition(the headset senses that it has been put down and shuts off after 15 seconds. Once it senses it have been moved it turns right back on. Usually the audio is already coming in by the time I put it on my head). Build quality is super solid. Expensive but they sound great and are a quality product. I am not wild about the color scheme but I can deal with it.

You would need a splitter that takes one HDMI signal and splits it into 2.

Is this a flat or curved screen? There's no mention of the curved screen in the product description, but the photos show it as curved.
The KS9000 is flat. The KS9500 is the curved one.

Looking to replace comcast modem want to buy a compatible modem
I also had to replace my comcast modem and have tried 2 different brands since then. This first one I got was a Zoom, and then later bought a Motorola. Ive had less issues with the Motorola. But Im not sure if they carry that same model. Its been a couple years. Depends on what you want to pay. I see the Motorola SB6121 is only 69.99 right now and has excellent reviews.

what happens to the pictures and videos taken by phone
It depends on the phone, but they usually go into a folder on the internal memory sd card. Its called DCIM/ Camera.

NO, you dont need 2 modems. All you need is 1 modem, and a wireless router. Then set up the wireless on the router, then any device that has internet can connect to the router by searching for wireless and entering your password.
