Excellent all around printer

The Epson Eco Tank is a great multi-purpose printer. In the box you get plenty of ink and everything needed to print.
Since it's an cartridge free type the ink will last a lot longer than your traditional printer. And a combo pack to replace the ink is a lot cheaper then buying several separate cartridges. And the included ink says it can last up to 3 years.
The initial set up was super fast and easy, and took less than 15 minutes to be up and going.
The print quality is great as well. I normally do mostly black and white printing, but color pictures came out great as well.
Printing directly from the PC via USB and from your phone via WiFi works great as well. I had no issues getting connected and sending print jobs from my phone.
Overall this is a great simple printer. It does everything I need from a printer and more. Easy set up, simple connectivity, rich vibrant prints, long lasting ink, and ease of use. If you are looking for a great priced do it all printer look no further. The Epson does it all and does it well. Highly recommend!

My first 360 action camera. So many possibilities

Ive had my share of action cameras and have done my share of video logs, but never is 360 degrees. My main interest is logging electric scooter rides, and most recently logging my new motorcycle rides. My old set up was a camera attached to the chin of my helmet. This worked OK, but of course had a very limited view. Not anymore.
This is my first 360 camera and it being a GoPro (the best in the business IMO), makes it one of the best out there. Its versatility is its main draw. With all the different ways to mount it you can get some really amazing footage.
Im still experimenting with it and do plan on a more solid mount for my motorcycle but the stability of the footage is great even when the mount isnt.
The camera itself is of course built very solid and hopefully can take a few falls. Although I dont plan on that happening. But GoPro makes their action cameras to last.
Setup was simple and only takes a few minutes to get up and running.
The video quality is excellent. It is so much better then my other cheaper action camera. And the footage is very stable as well. GoPro has this down to a science.
Im really looking forward to trying out other methods of recording. And since this is so versatile Im sure Ill be experimenting a lot. But I now understand the huge boom in 360 cameras. They are just so much fun. If you are looking for a 360 action camera look no further!

Excellent all around small and versatile laptop

This laptop is extremely well built, yet very light, and looks and feels a lot like much more expensive unit. Its very thin, the hinges are solid, and it just feels good in the hands.
At first I didnt think the flip feature would be something I used or needed until I tried it. Being able to set the screen up at any angle makes a huge difference. Especially when viewing media. Although the screen is small it is very crisp and clear at 1920X1200.
Its plenty powerful for your daily use, but dont expect to be gaming here. And of course that isnt what this is made for. But with a Ryzen Ai 5, 512gb SSD, and 16GB of LPDDR5x ram this handles everything I need it to and then some. Tabs for days, extremely fast boot times make for a nice little workhorse that can go anywhere.
The claimed 19 hour battery life is of course under very light usage, but Ive had no problem getting through a day of average use. And it charges fairly quick as well.
The keyboard has a great feel with good feedback, and is backlit which is always a plus. Typing away at night without the need for a light is a nice touch. (Pun intended).
Overall this is a great all around laptop with excellent performance. Well built, looks high end, great battery life, and very versatile. Very much recommended!

Excellent mid tier basic laptop

The HP 15-fd0127dx is an excellent laptop for your basic PC needs. The price is great for what you get. The device itself is very solid yet light and well made. I love the look, feel and finish. It also has all the ports most people need. 1 HDMI, 1 USB C 3.0, and 2 USB A 3.0, and 3.5 headphone, and mic input.
The screen is an FHD full touch 15.6” IPS display with very nice graphics. Although not OLED it still looks great. The i7 processor is plenty fast, and combined with the 16gb of ram and 512gb SSD everything boots up very quick and runs with no lag at all. Able to open and run multiple tabs with no issues.
It also has Microsoft Co-pilot AI as an assistant. Im still getting use to everything AI has to offer and so far I am very impressed. Looking forward to learning more and more of what it can do.
Another nice feature it has is fast charging. It claims it can charge from 0-50% in 45 minutes, but I havent had to test that yet because the battery life lasts a solid day of moderate use.
I do plan on upgrading the SSD to 1TB eventually. But for now the 512gb is enough. I am very happy with this laptop. It does all the basic stuff I need from a PC and does it well. If you are looking for a mid tier laptop this is a great choice.

Great price, solid performance. Easy repairs.

Its great to still see new mid range phones coming out. Not everyone needs or can afford a $1000 phone. When done right this can drive other companies to lower their prices when lesser known companies release phones with these type of features at this price range. Im an Android guy through and through and have never owned anything Apple. So this was an easy transition. It has a lot of the same features and specs of much more expensive phones where you are basically paying a name tax.
Set up was easy if you have set up an Android device before. A few steps and your in. I back most of my data up via drop box so transferring stuff from there is a breeze.
The device itself if very well made and really looks sharp. The 1080p OLED screen pops and is the perfect resolution. Ive never seen any reason to go over that on small screen.
The cameras are OK if you just want to shoot quick regular photos. But if you use the other lenses a sharp pic is a little harder to get and might require some after editing. Its a bit of a disappointment because having an amazing camera on a phone can be a huge factor for someone shopping. I suppose there is only so much you can squeeze into a phone at this price.
One thing I really appreciate is the replaceable battery. This use to be a common feature. And I wish it still was. But Im afraid thats a thing of the past for the bigger companies. The battery life is pretty good here and has 15W wireless but does not come with an adapter. Which is pretty normal now.
Data, calls, texts, and overall performance has been great. With a few changes in their next version this could be a real competitor in the mid range phone market. For now if you want a cheap, unlocked, solid performing device that takes decent standard snaps this is a great option.

Finally full Wi-Fi house coverage includ. garage

The devices themselves look nice and are antenna-less. Getting it all up and running was overall easy. I connected to my Comcast router/ modem combo and had it all up and running fairly quick.
These made all the Wi-fi connections through the house work much smoother and faster. We have 4 TV's, 3 of which are running on Wi-Fi only. They use to have buffering and pauses but all streaming is nice and smooth now.
My main issue was that when doing projects in my garage I like to be able to look stuff up on my phone. And my data connnection isnt always there. So I wanted a strong wireless to reach the garage for looking up part numbers, tutorials, etc. So I put on of the nodes near our front door that leads to the garage. I now have perfect Wi-Fi all the way into my driveway and then some.
There are a lot of very specific settings available on these to tweak if you want to. But for me just leaving it at default setting for now is fine. I may get in there and change a few things, but for now its doing exactly what I needed and then some.
If you rely heavily on wireless in your house or office this is a great option to set it and forget it. Very much on the recommended list.

Excellent headset for gaming and more!!

My go to headset for years now has been the Astro A50 Gen 2. I use it for not only gaming but for all audio coming from my TV. And it has been great with no need to change until now. I wanted to give the Kraken a try for the same use case and I am pleased to say it does everything the A50 did and more!
Of course this is designed for gaming and it does that very well. Games have excellent sound with great location of enemies and ambient noises too. And the big difference is the HD haptics. So if you are playing with a game controller that has vibration you get not only the controllers vibration but the headsets haptics as well which is (pun intended) a game changer! Hard to describe with words.
The sound is excellent with crisp highs and lows that are not overdone. Which is the way I like it. And as well as gaming movies and music sound amazing as well.
The headset itself is a bit on the heavy side and Im sure this is due to the 40mm drivers. So adding a bit of weight to get excellent tight bass is worth it. The headset is built well and with almost every one Ive had I have to max out the band to get it to fit due to my large head but thankfully it fits perfect at its max.
It supports all of my gaming consoles, PCs, and my Sony TV. And although it runs at 2.4ghz which several other of my devices do Ive had no interference issues.
Battery life is excellent and can be extended if you turn off the RGB and haptics. I prefer RGB off with haptics on and the battery has always lasted through my sessions and then some.
The control hub has a very nice OLED screen that is easy to adjust. And it has several presets and set up for a custom EQ as well.
So after years I am finally replacing my A50 with the Kraken. I didnt think Id every want to, but the Kraken headset has won me over. Highly recommended not just for gaming but for all audio!!

Fast, sleek, OLED! Love it!

Another excellent Acer laptop. My previous Acer laptop running Windows 10 is still running strong, but support for Windows 10 will be ending soon and unfortunately my Acer R5 does not support Windows 11. So it was time to replace it. And wow what a difference!
The Acer Swift does everything my R5 did and so much more, and so much better. I use to think my R5 was running good still. But it was getting a bit long in the tooth and slowing down, getting errors, etc. The Acer Swift solves all of that. The Swift is exactly that...Swift.
The boot up is extremely fast. Programs load basically instantly. And I can run as much as I want and have no lag at all. The Intel Core Ultra 7 Series 2 combined with Windows AI and 16gb or Ram make everything run like a breeze.
The Intel Arc graphics are good enough for your simple games and they run great. But this is not a gaming laptop by any means and doesnt claim to be. But will run your simple stuff with no problem.
My favorite thing about this is got to be the screen. I fell in love with OLED's when I got my first Sony OLED and now all my devices have OLED screens. And the screen on the Acer is beautiful. The 16” 3K (2880 x 1800) touch screen is super crisp with lovely colors. Previously I use to just run my laptop to my TV to watch videos, etc. But watching on this screen is great.
The backlit keyboard has excellent feedback and typing feels natural and I can type just as fast on it as my main keyboard.
Battery life has been excellent as well. The specs claim up to 19.5 hours. But of course thats with everything set up for low power. But I easily get a days worth, then just plug it in at night. Plenty for most users.
It also supports the latest Wifi 7. But Ill need to upgrade my router to take advantage of that. But even on Wifi 6 downloads and streaming has been very fast. No lag or buffering at all.
So overall this has been perfect for my daily PC use. And if it lasts even close to as long as my Acer R5 has Ill be using this for many years to come. Highly recommended!

Perfect PC to get into PC Gaming

The quick summary for this is that its a great way to get into PC gaming with good specs for those that just want to hook up and play. But whats even better is that it has room to grow for those that want to upgrade and get even better performance.
If your like me when it comes to gaming I just want to set things up and play. The usual upgrade for my consoles might be a larger SSD but thats it. So when it comes to PC gaming I really appreciate a PC that is ready to go and will perform well out of the box. But as you go you can upgrade and make it closer to a high tier rig.
Set up was simple. I use my Sony OLED TV as my monitor and it looks and performs amazing. Boot ups are lightning fast with the 1TB SSD. The design is awesome with RGB lights that can be tweaked with the Omen program. And although I can hear the fans they are not at all too loud. Id rather hear them and know they are cooling then run high temps.
Performance is excellent. I was pleasantly surprised at how well everything worked. I was expecting some sort of lag or other issue when running at higher settings. But everything was smooth. So I see no need to upgrade anything yet.
It has all the ports you would need and then some. Display, HDMI, USB C (total of 10 USB). So you can connect accessories to your hearts consent. It also comes with a fairly basic keyboard and mouse that will do the job. However I prefer a good old XBOX controller for gaming.
And of course this works beautifully as a regular desktop PC as well. So running programs, browsing, watching videos, etc. all work perfectly.
I highly recommend this to anyone that wants to get into PC gaming and just wants to play. But also for those that love to upgrade this has that option as well.

Amazing Coffees at home. Sleep in a bit more!!

Ive been a coffee nut for years. And that means lots of time and money spent heading to my local shop. Waiting for your drink, hoping its made right. Well now I can sleep in a bit more and save time and money by doing it myself at home.
The fact that its automatic is awesome. Waking up to your favorite coffee already made is amazing and makes the morning rush just that much easier.
In the box you get everything you need to get going. The machine is beautiful, and very well made. Set up was very easy.
The coffee choices are great as well. My personal favorite are macchiatos. And this machine makes them perfect. And afterwards the machine pretty much cleans itself. It takes no time at all and keeps everything ready for the next one!
One of the coolest things is having friends over and asking them what your favorite? Then being able to whip it up in no time.
If you love coffee this is a must. It makes coffee on par with any shop, is super easy to maintain. Looks awesome in any setting. And in the long run you save money and time on gas and coffee shops by being able to do it at home. And anything that lets me hit that snooze button a couple extra times is worth it in my opinion!! Highly recommended!

I bought this TV after comparing several TVs at my local Best Buy store, and was a little hesitant since there were no reviews of it online yet since it is brand new. But after comparing a few options, I decided on this one and am so glad I did. The picture quality is outstanding, and I would say it is on par with some others that are quite a bit more expensive. The sound quality seems good as well. It has three HDMI inputs as well as a USB input (in addition to the other standard inputs), which is nice since some in this price range had fewer inputs. It was really easy to set up, and I'm very happy that I purchased this TV. The only negative at all is if you need more details from the user guide, the included set up instructions refer you to go online to the Sharp website, but this TV is so new that the user guide is not yet online. That wasn't a major problem since set up was really easy and settings are very straight forward. I would definitely buy this TV again if I was looking for another and recommend it to anybody.

Hello. Im still trying to get a new set after our huge earthquake in Napa, Ca. My nice 50" Samsung plasma bit the bullet. Ive been trying to find one that has a PC input since I use it to attach my laptop as well as others. And it seems like its so rare to see a pc input as well as more than 2 HDMI. And I see that this set has both.Still happy with it?

I purchased this laptop a few days ago and man do I love it. This computer has everything I was looking for in a laptop (expect for an SSD) however I felt I could live without it considering the price for this machine. I have never owned an Acer always HP, had it for 7 years and it was time for an upgrade. I do really like this laptop fast, beautiful design and enough ports not to mention the PRICE again you wont be disappointed.

When I started TV shopping I did a lot of research and at first bought the 55” KS8000. I liked that but when the KS9000 went on sale I exchanged it for that. One of the main reasons I went with the 9000 was the design (mainly the stand). On the 55” version of the 8000 the legs are about 44” apart. My stand that I have been using for years for several TV's is only 42” wide. So I had to use a large piece of wood on top of my stand just to be able to set up the 8000. This didnt really look all that great, and I didnt want to have to replace my stand with a wider one. And thankfully the 9000 has a more standard V shaped stand that fits and works great on my TV stand.
And the 9000 also has some improved specs and also looks better in my opinion. I didnt really like the glossy back of the 8000. Anyway I really love this TV. Ive had several Samsungs, and my last set was the JU7100. But decided it was time to upgrade. I dont really miss the lack of 3D because I think I literally only used it once on my 7100 to test it. And I do believe 3D is on its way to being extinct. Anyway the new thing now of course is HDR. And the KS9000 really takes advantage of that. It simply looks amazing. There are several Netflix shows that show what HDR is all about. And I also recently bought the new XBOX ONE S. Ive yet to buy an HDR Bluray, but I will soon. But as I mentioned there is plenty of HDR on Netflix and Amazon Video in the meantime.
One of the really cool new features this years Samsung TV's has its the new Tizen system. It is much more simple and streamlined this year. My favorite feature so far is how well the TV detects whatever device you are connecting and names it accordingly. I have a PS3, PS4, XBOX ONE, 360, and a PC laptop all connected to my TV. And it names them all without me having to do anything. The PS3 and PS4 are both automatically labeled as “Playstation”. And the XBOX One and 360 are both labeled by their full names each. I didnt have to type out names like I have before when customizing my input names. As you can tell I have a lot of things connected to my TV. And since it has 4 HDMI ports I use 2 HDMI 3 way splitters. They automatically switch to whatever source is powered on. So my system is set up like this:
HDMI 1 = Direct TV
HDMI 2 = PS3 and PS4
HDMI 3 = XBOX ONE S
HDMI 4 = PC, Wii U, and XBOX 360
HDMI 2 = PS3 and PS4
HDMI 3 = XBOX ONE S
HDMI 4 = PC, Wii U, and XBOX 360
The reason I am listing these all out is because I want to add how smart this TV is. It switches the settings, input name, and device type on HDMI 4 on its own depending on whichever one is powered on. And I have different settings for PC and the Wii U and 360. I use to have to manually switch the input type every time I went from one to the other. But when I power off a device it automatically switches all the settings and input types on its own.
Of course a review of a TV without talking about picture quality isnt complete so here we go. Simply put its amazing. The colors and picture are awesome. It also has very good motion handling, especially if you set Auto Motion plus to Auto. But this gives you the dreaded SOE (Soap Opera Effect). Which I really dont care for. So I use a custom setting for Auto Motion (Blur 3, Judder 3, and LED Clear Off). This gives it very good motion handling with very little SOE.
As you read above I am a gamer. And one of the main things I look for when TV shopping is the input lag (or lack thereof). And this is one of the best TV's released this year for low input lag. In Game mode the lag is only 20.5 ms. This is great, I dont notice any lag at all. I was also thinking of getting the Sony X930D but decided not to for a few reasons, one of those is that it has about 54ms of lag. This isnt terrible, but would be noticeable in my opinion.
The other main reason I went with the Samsung over the Sony is that I am still not sold on the Android Smart platform. I tested it on a 2015 Sony and it was just too buggy. I have read it is better this year, but in my opinion the new Tizen is much better.
Another thing I look for in TV's is a good USB media player for videos on hard drives. And Im happy to say that the Samsung recognizes and plays every single file type I have tested. It also has SRT subtitle support.
So overall I am very happy with this TV. It is by far the nicest set I have ever owned and I look forward to years of use with it. If you are looking for a new HDR 4K TV this should be on the top of your list. If you want a cheaper alternative go with the KS8000. Just be aware on the 55” version of the 44” wide legs. On the larger versions the 8000 has optional closer leg mounts, but for some reason Samsung did not do this on the 55” version. Anyway thanks for reading. The one issue I am having is that the source list and its icons go blank every couple days, sometimes more. This is a known issue and apparently Samsung is looking into it. As a work around you can hold down the power button on the remote to force it to reboot. This brings the source list back, but its still an issue. Its only the upper source list, the lower one doesnt go away. If you own the set you'll know what I mean by the upper one. Thankfully this is an issue that can be fixed via firmware update, but as of 1131 (9-23-16) it still happens. If it gets fixed Ill try to update my review.

Battery question

I know these have better battery life than the previous gens but have you had them actually run out on you? I have 2 sets of Gen 2's now that I just swap out when one headset dies and then start charging it. I use my A50's for all my TV audio not just gaming so they run out after about 5 hours or so, so Im hoping that the Gen 3's will always have enough battery to get through the day as long as I set them back on the charger when not using them. Thanks

I have owned A40s and currently own a pair of last gen A50s. The new A50s make a lot of great improvements over last gen. No chat cable is great and the docking station acts as an external sound card for the PC and does not require an optical cable for full 7.1 which is awesome. Audio quality seems to be better that the old A50s. I would occasionally get some low buzzing noise in the old model but the new ones are crisp and have no such issues so far. Battery life is significantly improved and the auto shut off is a welcome addition(the headset senses that it has been put down and shuts off after 15 seconds. Once it senses it have been moved it turns right back on. Usually the audio is already coming in by the time I put it on my head). Build quality is super solid. Expensive but they sound great and are a quality product. I am not wild about the color scheme but I can deal with it.

Looking to replace comcast modem want to buy a compatible modem
I also had to replace my comcast modem and have tried 2 different brands since then. This first one I got was a Zoom, and then later bought a Motorola. Ive had less issues with the Motorola. But Im not sure if they carry that same model. Its been a couple years. Depends on what you want to pay. I see the Motorola SB6121 is only 69.99 right now and has excellent reviews.

It depends on the phone, but they usually go into a folder on the internal memory sd card. Its called DCIM/ Camera.

NO, you dont need 2 modems. All you need is 1 modem, and a wireless router. Then set up the wireless on the router, then any device that has internet can connect to the router by searching for wireless and entering your password.
