Ok, I am not talking razors here. If you currently have a 3 blade or 4 blade fan, do yourself a favor...Upgrade to 6 blades. The air movement, even on lowest setting, is impressive. I measured 29 feet away and could feel the breeze noticeably on LOW. On High you knew it was blowing from across the house. Yes, I had to set it up to blow down the hall way to get a measurement, that is how much of a difference the extra blades make.
If you have any other osculating fans, you know how to put these together. The model I have is table top, and it is FANtastic. The base is plenty wide enough to prevent tipping. The head is adjustable rotating up and down and the fan osculates.
One bad thing, the directions were less than clear, fortunately I have put together enough of these that I know the process. The one nut was already screwed into the base that holds the fan blades in place. It was put on in reverse of how it should have been. So make sure you check the hub before thinking a piece is missing.
Overall, after getting the fan together, there are no complaints to be had. Highly recommended. Just don't try to shave with it, that could get messy.

Lots of bells and other stuff

This is a very polished air fryer. It is 'smart' as it will connect to Wi-Fi and give you notifications on your phone. While that may seem like a big deal, I don't think I have ever walked more than 10 feet from any air fryer when using it. The app does give you a pretty decent search for recipes. Some are better than others. So the smart aspect is kind of handy but not what I would call a deal breaker if it was not there.
The fryer will remind you to shake your food about half way through cooking. The shake alert can be adjusted.
There are quite a few presets that work almost perfectly for anything you are cooking. We generally are making frozen french fries or cheese sticks, so we'll likely wear our one button.
The basket is a little difficult to get out. There is a slide on the handle to expose a button to release the basket. Make sure that you have the drawer basket combo sitting flat before pushing the button. Glad they have the button guard.
It cooks very evenly. Everything about the actual usage is pretty much perfect. I toyed with taking a star away because of how stiff it is getting the basket out. A trick for removing the basket, put one hand on top of the fryer and use your thumb to push the basked out.
The basket is plenty large enough to handle a bag of frozen french fries. It is quite spacious.
A few nice added pieces are skewers and a rack. The rack is great for air frying a hot dog and getting the grill marks. Also works for two level cooking, just don't have the drippy food on the top level. :D
Overall this is a really great fryer that has some bells and whistles that may not be needed, but are not bad to have. Maybe the best thing. It is not round like our old fryer. Lining a round fryer with foil is a pain.

This is a great robot vacuum. No ifs, no ands, no buts.
The self empty chamber will hold up to 60 days without needing emptied. This is a HUGE upgrade over our previous robot. Emptying it daily almost felt like more of a chore than it should have been.
A couple recommendations before your first full run.
After you get fully charged, run the mapping program to map your house. This runs much quicker than running the vacuum in full suck mode to get the map created. Also this will keep it from sucking up any cords that it may have access to.
After you get the map created, place your boundaries for no run zones and label your rooms, but only after the map is created. If you have a partial map stored and label or mark it, you have to import the new map from the most recent run.
There are 3 included disposal bags and 2 spare filters. There is also a invisible wall. This is great for the first run as a straight wall. Or putting behind pet bowls or beds to create a no run zone that is circular. I can see this being pretty useful around Christmas so you don't have to create new zones for a month or so.
When it auto empties, it sounds like a jet engine firing up. Don't be surprised by this. For at least 10 minutes after the empty happens, my dogs bark at the vacuum. The youngest will follow it thru the house barking at it every time it runs.
The mapping is pretty accurate. The no zones are easy to set up, but I wish I could rotate them or have a free draw option, our house has some angles to the floor plan.
The dual brush/rotor underneath gets very low to the ground, it thumps when doing the tiled areas of the house.
Unlike some of the older vacs, this one will sweep in straight lines, then do the border. One of my wife pet peeves was when we had the older non mapping bot, it would go circular. She likes the straight lines especially on carpets.
The drop sensor on this is much more refined than our old robot. The Persian style rugs we have would make the old vac think it was going to fall in a hole. This guy has no issues with them.
All the upgrades are awesome with this vac.

First off a quick overview. This monitor has 2 HDMI, 1 Display Port, 1 headphone jack, 1 optical audio jack and 2 USB ports (also a USB A to use the two USB ports). The USB ports basically act as a hub. You also receive something I wish all monitors would include, a remote.
Why do I like the remote? I have 2 laptops connected to the monitor. One is my personal gaming laptop with a i9 and a NVIDIA RTX 3060 in it. The other is my work laptop, standard Dell business offering. If you have ever tried to use a monitor joystick control to switch inputs, you know the pain. I prefer a separate button on the monitor to switch inputs, very few monitors have this option. The next best option is either a external switch, which limits your refresh rate, or a nice remote.
The remote is not bad, has brightness and volume controls along with input, settings and a few other buttons including picture in picture or side by side. The volume control handles the output from the headphone jack or the optical jack.
Monitor brightness, contrary to the previous version of the monitor, is quite bright. If you see someone complaining about the brightness, they may be reviewing another version of the monitor. Out of the box it is set at 100, I have it lowered to 70 and it still is a little bright for my taste in a darkened room but 70 is just about right in a fully lit room. Windows reports it to be 604 nits.
Resolution is 3440x1400, it handles a refresh of 60 Hz with no problem from my work laptop and 85 Hz in non gaming mode with no sweat on the gaming laptop. Doing a performance test with PassMark shows the true beauty of this monitor. The video card has no problem pushing the 3D tests out to the monitor. The monitor is just simply beautiful watching the tests run by.
I have seen some complain about ghosting around text, I have not seen one issue with it at all. Text is smooth and crisp. I don't even have the windows smoothing enabled.
Now for the issues I have run into:
When powering up my laptop, the display times out before the work laptop gets thru bios. So the display either goes to sleep before the safeboot password is requested or it switches to the other input. I have not found a setting to correct this.

Split screen or PiP mode will occasionally get stuck requiring the monitor to be powered off and on to get both inputs working correctly.
On my other personal laptop, a i7 with the same video card, it blue screens when I plug the HDMI cable in with a error for the stop code of SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION for failed nvlddmkm.sys. I have tried underclocking, reinstalling NVIDIA drivers, clean install of drivers, older versions of driver, changing a few different system options. Everything short of a windows factory reset, which I can not do since this is a laptop I use for database management, web design and coding. Everything is backed up but it is a pain to reconfigure all the apps I need. I have worked around this by using a USB-C to HDMI dongle, but lose the full functionality of the NVIDIA 3060.
LG support for the BSD issue was great, unfortunately this is a issue a lot of people see with Windows and NVIDIA, this is not on this monitor. Not everyone finds a solution, occasionally a new Windows patch or updated drivers will fix the issue. If you run into this, make sure you try the cables included with the monitor (unfortunately they are shorter than I need) occasionally that corrects the issue. It did not help me.
Overall I am loving this monitor. Gaming performance is outstanding. The curve of the monitor really brings you further into the game whether it is Minecraft, a driving sim (highly recommended) or anything first person like No Man's Sky. This really enhances the games feel. Not quite at a VR level, but the next best thing. Being 2-3 feet away is probably the optimum distance. Oh, video pinball is a blast on here. You really feel the refresh rate with something that has so many textures like the driving sim or pinball.
Loving this monitor for work and play. Highly recommended. I only dropped a star because of a few small issues I have had that required powering the monitor off and on to get out of split screen. There really was nothing in the box letting you know of any LG software that is available for changing settings, etc. Hint, you can find the software at LGs website.

Good receiver, lacking transmitter

As a receiver this works just fine. I have used in my car to stream XM, Youtube audio or podcasts with no issue. I do need to turn the volume up for both BT on the phone and the radio itself.
As a transmitter, this was a pain in the keister for me. I could not get my headset to pair, but every BT speaker in the neighborhood seemed to pair to it. After finally getting one of my headsets to pair, I could not get the volume to a level that was adequate. The volume on my headset would only go to barely above a whisper and the volume on the different devices I tried did not change the level appreciatively.
I tried this with two TVs and a tablet. The tablet has BT, but I wanted to see if it had the same issues as the TVs did with adequate volume levels. It had the same results but showed my what was happening. It seems like the transmitter is blocking the volume change from the headset. The volume bar would go up on the tablet then immediately drop to the lowest audible level.
On one TV I had the volume, that is normally at 12, up to 24 and the output did not change from where it was when I plugged the device in.
I was really hopeful this would allow me to listen to sports in bed without annoying my wife with the sound.
I will keep playing with this and see if other headphones work better.
Oddly it works perfectly fine with my PC, so it is a decent solution to use BT headsets with my computer rather than install a BT card.

This is a fine piece of machinery. It almost feels like it belongs in a tool box more than a bathroom drawer. The cutting is smooth and very consistent, much more consistent that any clippers or trimmers I have ever used.
The adjustments seem to be a little short on the measurement, definitely start a little longer than you normally would trim and work your way back. The 7/7.5 settings seem closer to a 5 on my other trimmer. Might be my other trimmer lack of cutting ability or the fact this one cuts almost in one pass. I have this as a mark up, because it is a one pass trimmer, so the short cut may be because it is so efficient.
One ding I will give. Documentation does not explicitly state that the unit is water proof, water resistant or an IP rating. The box does say IPX7, which translates to a very high rating equivalent to being in 3 foot of water for 30 minutes. A great rating, but would be great to see that in the documentation and not just on the box.
Overall, this is a great beard hedger. Calling it a trimmer would be an injustice to it...even though I called it that earlier. It is large, easy to clean and very well built. This should last as long as the battery is good. This outperforms our commercial grade hair clippers, I am very impressed.

Good for what it needs to do, bad interface

There is a lot to this suite of protection. Maybe too much. Trying to find things in the app can be cumbersome and not necessarily where you would think to look. Navigating the app alone is cumbersome. Why they have the ADD button at the bottom of the firewall rules perplexes me. I have quite a few apps I need to open ports for in my firewall, scrolling to the bottom every time makes it easier to just turn off the firewall, which goes against the idea of protection.
There is a lot of fluff that you can do or live without. The credit protection score...oops ID Protection score is a clunky way of making people feel safe. A high score may cause a false sense of security.
The important thing, it does protect against viruses and malware. Although it has not popped up with any warnings for me yet.
The included VPN is great for when you are working on anything that may require additional safety measures. Logging into banking, stock, etc profiles. Stuff you want to keep as secure as possible.
So far I have not seen the classic virus protection slow down, even when running a full scan. This is good. But my machine is a bit on the performance side.
The family install is quite nice. I have it running on my laptops and desktop. Also have it installed on my kids machines and my wife's machine. No one has complained about it slowing them down.
The software appears to be doing what it is intended to do. I will feel better when it throws up a red flag on something.
One other annoyance is the browser plug-in. It seems to be activating itself randomly. Drives me nuts getting Yahoo search results when I actually prefer duck duck or Googles own search.
Outside of navigation and finding settings in the app. I really have not found anything to say "avoid this software". I know that does not sound like a glowing endorsement, but the last thing you want is you antivirus acting like a virus and spamming you to buy this or that. The fact that you almost forget it is there is a glowing endorsement.
The design/developers need to rethink the layout. That cost this review 1 star by itself. Nothing makes me sadder than a bad design for a good product.

Handy sensor, hoping to never get an alert

Small, very compact sensor. I have verified the reading by having it close to my thermostat for temp reading. My thermostat is also smart, so I have a history on the temperatures. They definitely agree with each other.
My thermostat also does a humidity reading and they have compared almost identically.
Why do I have this by the thermostat? I wanted to verify the readings for a week before giving it a permanent home on the other side of the house. Hopefully I can adjust the vents to have a more consistent environment thru the house.
The big bonus is the radon detection. Luckily the numbers are near zero. With the accuracy of the other sensors I have great faith in this accuracy as well.
As for the hardware, it is quite compact. The screen is easily readable, think like a paper white style screen. The size is a little larger than a glasses case, about twice as wide. Very impressive for its size.
Battery life is excellent and USB rechargeable. You can keep it plugged in and use as a hub.
One oddity is outside temp has been very inaccurate, this is grabbed off wireless.
The app is pretty straightforward and gives some other handy details at a glance, like allergy/pollen status.

These headphones are extremely lightweight. They are very comfortable. The boom mic is very easy to use and does not block your view.
My only beef with the headphones, they only work as Bluetooth. Connecting with USB cable will charge while using them, but you end up having a slight BT lag. Enough that you hear before lips move. That is one thing that drives me nuts. It is not as noticeable with Android and my phone, but using with a Windows laptop I get that out of sync annoyance.
The audio sounds great. Reasonable bass, good highs out of the box.
Another pet peeve of mine is the boom mics being on the left side. I hate having the boom on the left side of my headphones. No idea why, it just is something I do not like. I think because if I am in a game, I am more likely to release the mouse than remove my fingers from WASD. However, with how compact and short the boom arm is, you do not notice it at all. I even forget what side it is on since I can not see it.
Like I mentioned earlier, I don't like seeing the mic either. I have pretty good peripheral vision and for me to not see the mic says a lit for how well it is designed and hidden.
So far battery life has been great. I make it through a day of 5-6 hour long meetings then still have enough juice for a couple hours listening to music, pods casts or just using with game audio.
Another great feature, you can connect multiple BT devices to them. I hate when I have to re-pair every time I want to switch from laptop to cell phone.
I would definitely recommend these headphones, just know you will probably have a BT delay in Windows. Try turning off audio enhancements in settings. Sometimes that helps. If not, most apps/streaming sites have ways to sync video/audio, they are just a pain to track down and adjust. Once again, no issues with Android phone and BT delay.

My wife says that it is heavier than her previous flat iron. Doing a quick test myself there is a noticeable difference between the weights of the irons. I tried hold then in the center, while powered off, and this one is heavier.
As for heating up, she said this iron also does not heat up to as hot of a temperature. No I did not hold them in my hand to see which burned more.
She also sys it takes longer for her to use this, she has to do more passes to get the same results.
Build quality it is definitely a well built iron, I will guaranty this will last longer than her other iron. It feels more premium. I have a feeling it is just a matter of time before she gets this iron worn in to have a similar performance to her other iron.
You may be asking why we have two, well...when you forget to pack one...
Now a quick clarification on why the weight is very important to my wife. She has very thick hair and a pair of bad shoulders. When we search for hair driers or other hair care hardware the first thing she tests is how easy it is to hold up for an extended period.
She likes this iron enough and we will obviously keep it as a travel iron or spare iron for when the favored inevitably dies. It is very well built and you would not make a mistake buying this iron. But according to my wife it is not the best iron she has used but it is very close to it.

Sound quality for these headphones are on par with their wired counterparts. Sound controls are inline and well placed for easy access.
The microphone performs much better than I expected, people I have talked to on the phone said I was clear and could not tell I was using a mic. The mic is built into the inline controls.
The ear pieces are quite comfortable and light. The base/receiver the ear tips extend from are rounded and smooth to avoid rubbing against your outer ear. As with most headphones you will get various sized options for ear size and comfort.
Inline controls are on the right hand side about 3 inches from the right headphone. The inline controls require some force to adjust volume, so you will not accidentally change volume. The power button, status lights and USB port are all on the right hand headpiece. All call controls, volume, etc are in the inline controller.
Battery life has been quite good. My initial usage points to about 12 hours battery life based on the Bose Connect app battery status, packaging claims 6 hours. There is built in battery savings for auto power off that can be adjusted in the app.
Speaking of the Bose Connect App, available in the Google Play Store and the Apple App Store. The app is very basic and straightforward on Android. Open the app, it will prompt for you to turn on the headphones. Pair. Done. The App is not required unless you plan on making setting changes, such as default voice prompt language or auto power down options.
My only concern is the USB port cover, it is rubber and feels well built, tight fit and strong, but I fear this could easily get broken off the headphoness.
Packaging includes the headphones, Bose headphone case, 12 inch standard micro USB cable, (1) large and (1) small replacement ear tips, manuals and warranty information.
In the included photos I have a US Quarter and a AA size battery for reference for the size of the buds.

Just a quick update: The App has been updated to include these headphones. Still very basic, but the App on Android will allow you to control which two devices the headphones are connected to. Obviously you would keep the phone connected to control switching, but the app will allow you to control which device the headphones. This makes an easy switch from laptop to tablet to work laptop, etc. This control is under the Bluetooth button after the headphones connect to the phone.

Yes, I am using both together. But the Ultra camera will not work with the Pro 2 hub/base, you will need to configure the Pro 2's on the Ultra base station.

I've had no issues. The magnet aligns them for charging with no issue. Is the ear cup blocking it from seating properly in the charger?

If you only have one earbud can u still bluetooth to it. A mbd if yes is there a way to make that bud playback in stereo instead of just the left or right side?
The right side is the dominant side and can be used by itself.
I have not tried using only the left one. The initial pairing requires the right one, so I think the left is the slave to the right.

Is Linksys velop dual band mesh wi fi systems compatible with AT&T internet service? AT & T only seem to like their own routers.
I plugged mine into one of the network ports on the modem/router combo that was installed by AT&T. I logged in and turned off the wifi in the AT&T router and only use the Velop network I configured. During setup of the primary node it asks if you have a modem and router or a single box.
