Foolproof solution to the perfect cup of coffee

While I would not describe myself as an avid coffee or hot beverage drinker, I do enjoy the occasional cup of coffee, tea or hot chocolate. Since I don't brew coffee often myself, I don't often act on any impulses to have these beverages - UNTIL NOW! I am very impressed at the simplicity of the Kuerig brewing system. It is SO simple to use and produces a consistently good beverage. The machine is very straightforward and intuitive, and the assortment of available pods provide a plethora of options that keep me coming back for more! There is no question for me that I will be consuming more hot beverages now that I have this appliance in my kitchen. It looks great on the counter too! I am happy to strongly recommend this to anyone who enjoys hot beverages. The single serve paradigm helps ensure you don't let any go to waste!

I am very impressed with the Phillips Avance Collection Indoor Grill and readily recommend it to anyone looking for a great answer to getting the true outdoor grilling experience indoors with minimal smoke. This unit represents a significant improvement over pther electric stand-alone and stove-top grill pans I've tried in the past. It separates grease from the food on the grill into a grease tray like other clamshell grills on the market, but with the experience similar to cooking on an open grill. It is very easy to clean - even more so with a quick spritz of cooking spray on the grill and drip tray before starting your cooking session - and easy to use. This is a perfect solution to grilling indoors that I am confident will become a key appliance in any kitchen. It is no wonder that it is already winning recognition for its design excellence!

Unimpressed with function and features

I was surprisingly challenged to pair this device with my phone. The documentation included with the device did not provide much helpful guidance - for instance, a quick explanation of the behaviors of the light indicator would have been a great help. I charged the unit as directed, but had to return to the pairing activity three separate times before I was actually able to successfully pair the device with my phone. Once I did, I was disappointed at the sound quality, which seemed weak/tinny when compared with other wired and wireless options. In all, while it did get the job done eventually, the complications I had pairing with the device and the at best fair sound quality would prevent me from recommending this device.

The boom box for the new millenium

While I was at first very surprised at its size, I am very pleased with the Nyne Rebel speaker and definitely think it is well worth its form factor for the amazing and powerful sound that the unit delivers. As for usability, it is VERY simple and straightforward to use: it automatically goes into pairing mode if a device that hasn't been paired with it is not in the area, so to switch phones/devices you simply put the paired device in airplane mode and pair the new one. The battery lasts a LONG time as well. We used the speaker for several hours a day for several days in a row before we needed to charge it back up again. It's also great that you can quickly see how much battery life remains with a press of a button. All in all I think this comes as close as you'd like to a great boom box for the new millenium, We found it very useful while sitting out on the screened porch, around a campfire and on a pontoon boat. I highly recommend this device to any looking for a great sounding semi-portable speaker and secondary power supply.

A complete beverage station ideal for home use

I am very impressed with the DeLonghi BCO430 coffee maker and definitely recommend this full function beverage station to anyone looking for a single appliance to address nearly every heated beverage need. Not only that, but it's clean and attractive stainless steel design make it a beautiful addition to my countertop. While I admit I have never tried to make espresso before, I found the features to be very straightforward and intuitive. If there were one thing I'd have like to have had with the machine, it would be more detailed instructions on how to make espresso and cappuccino, but with a bit of experimentation and referring to the pictures and descriptions in the included user manual, I was able to figure it out fairly quickly. My typical use will be most often to make standard drip coffee and for hot water for tea and hot chocolate, but as my comfort level with making espresso and cappuccino advances, I expect to gradually use those features more and more. In all, I was highly satisfied with all the features of this appliance and strongly recommend it to anyone who is looking for a great coffee pot and all-in-one hot beverage station for your home!

A tremendous tech-enabled dental appliance

I moved to an electric toothbrush several years ago at the recommendation of my dentist, who noted that my use of manual toothbrushes and brushing patterns were evident to him when examining my teeth during a semi-annual cleaning/checkup appointment. I've tried several different electric toothbrushes in the years since and can say unequivocally that the Oral-B Pro 6000 toothbrush with its smartphone capabilities is a significant step forward in delivering real-time feedback on your brushing habits. It delivers the quality cleaning experience you would expect from Oral-B (a brand highly esteemed among dental care professionals - my dentist hands out free Oral-B manual toothbrushes for example). The designers didn't miss a thing - the form factor is ideal and the travel case will make it easy to keep this device close at hand no matter where I am. I feel very comfortable strongly recommending this toothbrush - sure to enhance your regular brushing routine and ensure you are doing all you can to protect one of our most valuable assets and significant players in our overall health and well-being: our teeth!

Nice sound from a small device but question use

My first thought when I received this device was that for me to carry it on my person, it needs to deliver a sufficiently better sound/quality experience than I'd receive through the integrated speakers on my phone (an iPhone 6) for me to find it useful.
I wanted to see if I could further quantify the difference and downloaded a decibel meter app to compare. The baseline metrics were captured with all three test devices placed the same distance and angle to the meter. Mozart's Serenade No.13 in G Major was selected as the sample track.
For the iPhone, the decibel level stayed fairly close to 80 but ranged from lows in the mid 60s to max 94 with peak 83. (95 83 88)
The polk Boom Bit did a little better increasing the results by about 5 points on each. I'm not sure what that tells us exactly, but the experience of the Boom Bit was a somewhat richer, fuller sound than the iPhone, which seemed to get tinny when turned up all the way.

The setup was simple enough, though the instructions on how to answer a call were actually not correct. The very brief instructions indicated I should hold the + down for 2 seconds to answer when I actually need to double press the button for it to work. Similarly to disconnect. It also doesn't work well if you're too far from your phone. It seemed to start being an issue at 30 feet, less when obstructions (walls) got in the way.
The skip forward while listening to a play list works. Skip back only goes to the beginning of the song you're listening to, doesn't seem to skip back to the previous song easily, but all that can be done like always on the phone which you'll need to have close at hand anyway. I was also unable to find any way to tell how much battery is left and/or when it is fully charged.
All in all, I thought the sound from the polk Boom Bit was definitely of better quality than the internal speakers on my phone, so audiophiles may be getting what they want out of this device, but I'm not certain how likely I personally will be to carry or use it often. Then again, I don't often listen to/broadcast my music on speaker in public either, so I may not be the exact demo for this product.

A must have for a wine connoisseur

While I in no way consider myself to be a wine connoisseur, I definitely enjoy having a few glasses of wine on occasion, so I was intrigued to experience for myself how the Ullo Wine Purifier impacted wines filtered through this device. I was quite amazed at the noticeable difference between wine directly from the bottle vs wine filtered with Ullo. I tried the product on several different Red wines: two lower cost bottles (a Shiraz and a Merlot at roughly $10 apiece from the liquor store), a mid-price Cabernet Sauvignon (approximately $25), and a premium wine (purchased for $55). Without exception, the flavor and aroma of the wines was significantly enhanced by the Ullo filtration. Again, since I'm not an avid wine enthusiast, my verbiage may not be exact, but for me the wines straight from the bottle seemed discernably flatter, slightly more bitter with more of a heavier/licorice like finish than they did after being filtered with the Ullo, when for me they all seemed to have a much fuller flavor, seeming lighter and zestier with more of a caramel finish. I certainly enjoyed them more after using the Ullo purifier, so I definitely think the product delivers on its promises. The Ullo comes with 4 filters, with additional filters available on the Ullo website @ 6/$20 or 15/$40, so the per bottle filter cost gets down to under $3 with purchase of the larger pack. For me this cost seems fair for how much more I enjoyed the wine when compared with non-filtered wine. I do not have an aerator, so I can't speak to the difference between a wine that has been simply aerated and ones filtered through the Ullo's proprietary filtration pack, however I have no doubt that wine aficionados will be very pleased with this product and am happy to recommend it.

I am very impressed with the features and quality of sound I experienced from these Sony wireless headphones. The setup was fairly straightforward and made easier by the inclusion of the quick link to the app store to quickly download the headphones app. Connecting to my devices (I used an iPad, iPhone and Bluetooth connection to my laptop in my testing) was very quick and easy. The sound quality was on par with or above the best competitive Bluetooth headsets I have used, and the interface from a user perspective is easy to understand. The headphones themselves are nicely cushioned, easily adjustable and very comfortable. While there was no specific button I could find to enable the noise cancelling feature as I had expected - meaning I'm not sure if you can just have a noise cancelling white noise effect to sleep on a plane for example, there is no doubt that these headsets would definitely be effective drowning out external noises when you are using them to listen to content, and they definitely do drown out most ambient noise when you place them over your ears. The bass effect seemed to enhance the bass and lower frequency sounds of music fairly well, but it's not as easy to differentiate when you switch because of the announcement that breaks the stream of the sound when you activate/deactivate that feature. In all, I'm definitely happy to recommend these headsets as among the very best quality wireless headphones I've ever used. I look forward to using and enjoying them long into the future!

Convenient and powerful cleaning tool for any home

I was impressed by the fact that the package not only included the steam mop I was expecting, but also a non-steam (spray) mop as well. The product was very easy to set up and use and did a great job in both types of cleaning scenarios. It was definitely a plus that they included two of the Dirt Grip cleaning pads so that you could be using one while washing the other. The only note I had was that the spray of the Steam Blaster function while very strong did tend to spray higher than I'd have liked and thereby got the walls a bit wet, but otherwise this mop is everything you'd hope for an more. I was very pleased to be able to retire my older competing steam mop machine AND broom pad mops and move to use of just this one.

This can be either. I purchased the hard copy CD but then ended up downloading the installation package from the website when I decided to install it on a machine without a CD?DVD drive, so even if you happened to purchase the hard copy, you will be able to download and install - you just need to ensure you retain the serial number / product code from the original package to complete the installation after you've downloaded the installation files.
