I reviewed this shortly after I purchased but apparently BB wants me to do it again, so who am I to argue?
This is THE best small tv/large tablet on the market and being on sale gave me the best of both worlds.
I had wanted a small TV to take to my patio but not have to leave there when not in use.. had looked at small smart TV's so I could pull in my DirecTv as well as Netflix. This fills the bill for not only that, but as a huge tablet to play on, surf the web and play my games.
If the broadcast is HD, the picture is crystal and the sound is more than loud enough even for me (I am hard of hearing)
The attached stand puts the tablet at the perfect angle for watching tv but also makes it the perfect tablet stand.. the keyboard is bigger than my laptop and very easy to type on. Has a designated numbers keypad that doesn't interfere with the size and spacing of the letters.
I simply love this tablet for the purpose I got it for. If you're looking for a small tablet to take along in your purse, this is not the one to get, but if you want an extra TV that doubles as a tablet, this is perfect.

This screen protector is amazing. Thanks to it I still have a phone with a perfect screen.
I ended up dropping it one too many times and I thought I had broken my phone. I attempted to take the ZAGG off in hopes I still had a phone and I did! Taking it off, however, ruined it the rest of the way so I needed a new one.
I went to Best Buy to get another one and while their associate was putting it on for me she reminded me to register it because it comes with a warranty. I told her I had just taken the old one off that had cracked and she told me to contact ZAGG for a free replacement.
I contacted ZAGG. Paid the $6 shipping fee and they sent me a new one reminding me to send in the broken one or I would be charged for the cover.
Sent it in and no other charges..They really came through.
What's great about them aside from the warranty is once the plate is in place you can't even tell it's there.

Overall, I love this little laptop. Sound is amazing and LOUD! Am hard of hearing and I can't have it at 100% volume when watching Netflix or Directv shows because it would be too loud. Speakers are on top rather than the bottom.. finally somebody realizes that we don't hold the bottom of the computer to our ears to listen to videos.
As long as I keep the cache cleaned up, pages load pretty fast. Once in a blue pages will freeze but don't know for sure why.. very rare, but it knocked it from 5 to 4 stars.
Quality of pictures is almost as good as my iPhone so can't really complain. Not a lot of bloatware to remove when new so that's refreshing.
Battery life is better than advertised, although after a few hours of constant use I usually plug it in so will be good to go when I want to use it again. I have on occasion just closed the lid without turning it off or plugging in and the off and on use has lasted all day, so am satisfied with that.
Keyboard feels very sturdy and keys are easy to use. My hands rest on either side of the touchpad so there's no issue with bumping that while typing. Not having a designated ten key is a plus with a laptop this size.
Touchscreen is for the most part very responsive. On the few occasions it seems to not recognize my touch I have restarted and it's good to go.
Overall, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this laptop or to get another if the need arose. Smaller than the 15 but bigger than the 11's so for me, it's perfect. Bending back into a tablet is a plus but to be honest, I really don't use it that way. I have two tablets and when I want a tablet, I use a tablet.

Overall sound is good..speech could be a little more crisp but I can understand what people are saying without blasting everyone else out of the room. I did need a splitter to be able to use them since my TV does not have an audio out except for digital, which this does not have.
I use them for hours at night and have never had the batteries go dead. I just hang them on the charge stand over night and good to go.
They're a little bulky but no so bad that it's annoying. I can go anywhere in my 1100 foot condo as well as the patio and never miss a word.
For a lower end headset, they work pretty well.

Really wanted these to work.. price and comfort were great.. problem was I was unable to hear the words with them no matter how loud I had them. Words were muffled and blended in with background sounds which defeated the purpose for me. I'm hard of hearing so having the words be crisp and clear from a headset was my priority.
I ended up taking them back and getting Sony brand and they work perfectly.

Always hated having to check my phone that I keep in my purse to see if had missed a call. I just have this hanging on my neck and it vibrates when I get a call.. I put the ear buds in and I'm good to go. Can also hear better with these than with my phone, especially if it's noisy where I am.
The only reason I gave them 4 stars rather than 5 is I wish the magnets were a little bit stronger to hold the buds up when I'm not using them.

Put off buying a smart TV because I honestly didn't feel the need because prices were usually so much higher for a smart vs dumb.. After all, I had Chromecast so figured I was good to go.

Get the best signal by placing this ultra-thin antenna on a wall or standing it on your TV.
only get 5 stations in st.peters missouri that are comet stations???what am I doing wrong? led tv is a samsung 46D6000?
antennas will only pull in stations that are being broadcast with towers. In Phoenix, Az we have towers on South Mountain that send out signals for about a dozen local channels. You also need to let the antenna 'run through' its setup so it can find any stations that are available. This is why I don't think it would work for camping in the middle of nowhere.. need the broadcasting signals.
You also might want to try letting it run through its setup again to make sure that's all that's available in your area.

Hi, I use close caption on my dish network to plug into a curse Free box that plugs into my tv. Do you know if that would work with this TV guardian that I have? Is there a place to plug this unit into the antenna?

am thinkin of purchasing for my wife she primarily would use it for face book & playing games . ive read reveiws that say the face book app is a phone version that does not show like it would on a computer screen is there any way around that.
yes.. do not use the Facebook app.. use Chrome or Firefox and type in facebook.. will be the same as if you're using your computer.

Will this Roku TV work as a regular tv? Such as watching our regular TV channels "without" drawing down on the home wi-fi if we choose? Or is it an Internet only kind of thing that will always operate off the Wi-Fi when it is turned on?
Yes but you will need another remote to change channels.

You can use it over and over. Just plug it in when you're home and take it with you. Great reusable device.
