I purchased this base for my apple watch. It worked fine with the sports band, but the weight of the metal band sometimes is to much for the angle of the charge base. I have woken up several times with no charge because it has slid of the charging part, due to the angle and weight of the band.

I have been using this for a few days and other than not liking the sport band the watch has preformed very well. It's kind of neat to be able to preview messages. You can see the potential for this watch I did switch to a leather wrap band
