The Samsung - POWERbot R7040 App-Controlled Robot Vacuum is a fun and interesting device.
Pros -
* nice suction, pick up a lot of dirt and dust.
* Quiet and goes about it's business
* Cleans very well under beds!!
* Does a great job getting to (almost) every area of a room
* Fun to play with. Fun to watch.
* It is able to handle variety of floor types & carpet heights.
* Rarely gets stuck...but it occasionally does
Cons -
* Misses some simple objects (like a pillow feather)
* Not the greatest in a kitchen with corners where dirt collects and around tables and chair legs
* The cell phone app does not control the robotvac directions well
* If you tell the robotvac to "auto-clean" then it does the same pattern (room by room) each time. I can get it to clean the RIGHT side of my house, but it will never automatically clean the LEFT side of my house (unless there's something I don't know about this)
* the dust bin is pretty small - I have to empty it about every 45 min.
* the dust bin gets sort of clogged - dust collects at the entry point and does not fill the bottom of the dust bin.
* Connects to Alexa, but it's difficult
* The Alexa commands are very limited (such as: Start robotvac, Pause, Send robotvac back home).

The Philips - 800-Lumen, 8.5W A19 LED Light Bulb, 60W Equivalent works as expected. No muss, no fuss. The only surprise to me was the base of the light bulb (ceramic portion) gets hotter than I expected. The color of the light is quite white. The brightness is quite comparable to a regular 60 watt incandescent bulb or 60 watt equivalent CFL.

Insignia™ - Hard Shell Case for Most Portable Hard Drives feels like good protection for any portable hard drive. It is a bit larger (thicker and longer/wider) so it should hold most any size external portable drive. It is probably overly big for a typical 2gb drive. However, my 4gb drive (which is a bit thicker) fits nicely. It has an elastic strap to keep the drive from moving about. It has a mesh pocket in the cover to store the USB 3 cable.

Using the wi-fi, connect this device to virtually any portable (cell phone, android, ipad) device. Install the Sandisk app on the portable device (which was easy), configure it to connect to your Connect 32 flash drive (which was also easy). You can now access the flash drive as a drive to transfer files back/forth. This is great when you don't have the correct cable to connect your portable device to an external drive. Hey. Great idea. First, WD MyCloud has an app which is your music player (WD Music Player). I'm currently away from home, connected to the NAS via internet and listening to music (playlist) on the NAS.
Second, listening remotely from the car - interesting. So I tried this! Download the app "WD MyCloud" for android phone. Set up your remote connectivity/secure access (just as you would for a PC to access MyCloud remotely). In the app, navigate to your music/playlist...click Play. That's it. This worked well. Keep in mind audio streaming uses a lot of your data plan if you are connected via 4G or 3G.
Second, listening remotely from the car - interesting. So I tried this! Download the app "WD MyCloud" for android phone. Are there any issues using this device as aa TimeMachine for mac?
Sorry. I don't have experience with this NAS and TimeMachine. I only access the NAS from PC. The product does mention it works with TimeMachine backup...and has a default folder on it for that.

Yes. At least on my Win8.1 Tablet. I use Logitech bluetooth keyboard and Microsoft Sculpt Comfort bluetooth mouse at the same time. They work simultaneously. However, sometimes my keyboard is a little laggy. My thought is it's the Win8 tablet that is the culprit.
