Not your typical western, this one is on a grander scale along with The Good, The Bad, and the Ugly. Sadly picture quality is poor. Some of the best fast draw gunfights in any movie. Terence Hill's best movie.

Meg Ryan is always fun to watch and Tom Hanks gives a top performance. This movie was made in the beginnings of the internet but could easily be made today. Picture quality is not much better than the DVD.

Classic movie with so much to offer

Saw this movie when I was young, left an impression on me. When it came to Blu-ray it was a must buy. Enjoyed it again watching it today. Perfect mixture of western, comedy and thriller. The young girl character Gypsy Cole steals the show, so sweet and funny. Picture quality could be better but not bad for 1966 movie. Great interview with Clint Walker.

Mega bass and good surround effect

The age of soundbars has arrived! Now you can get great theater sound without having to buy receivers and complicated sound systems. I tried Energy and Sony soundbars and the Vizio was the best in surround effect and bass. The volume adjustment needs to be more gradual, it jumps up quite a bit from one level to the next. The bass is also very strong, I wish the sub woofer could be turned off when you don't want to disturb others. My Vizio TV TruVolume actually works well for the first time with this soundbar. Improvements I would like to see: lighted remote (not a big deal, I adjust volume with other remotes), more gradual volume adjustment, and more adjustment to lower base or turn off sub woofer. Other than that it's perfect for movie watching. You don't get full surround but you need 5.1 to get that.

Here's a stupid question.
In ,my defense, I am 66 years old, OK. So, don't go "Jesus Christ." I currently have cable. I want to cut the cord, oh god, I want to cut the cord. I love to get the "news" from ABC, NBC, CBS, CNN, MSNBC, etc. Will I have to buy an app for all these channels if I buy this TV and cut the cord??
This TV is perfect for cutting the cord. To get local broadcast channels you don't need an app, just a good antenna. How far you live from the stations will determine what kind of antenna you need. Here is a great place to start for information. http://antennaweb.org/address.aspx
