I pick these up on sale. I thought these would be a good choice since the receptacles were turned sideways . I thought it would work better with all the little transformers that a lot of electrical things have these days, but unfortunately The receptacles are too close together you can barely get to regular plugs next to each other. I have not tried to use the power controlled outlet. I'm just using it as a regular Power strip and it works just fine. It appears to be made well.

I am very happy with the speakers. So much I bought a second pair. I have a fairly good size living room and I run the four 40's bi amp with and 9.2 amp. Along with a center channel and two subs. Bi amp the speakers makes a noticeable difference.
Nice looking speaker too. I couldn't spend this much on a speaker and have it covered with vinyl contact with fake wood grain.

what is the differnce between the diamond steel and chrome shadow
On the chrome shadow machine the whole thing is painted with a gray metallic paint. On the diamond steel machine the top is painted with a silver metallic paint that matches the control panel portion of the machine. The lower face of the machine below the control panel is stainless steel. I was asking the same question in getting bad results when I was looking to buy this machine. The chrome shadow machine looks nice. I just wanted the stainless steel look.
