Not worth the insane price

Honestly, the only reason I bought this was because I had $30 in rewards so it didn't seem like TOO much $ for what it did. I was leaving town on a business trip and my husband works about 12-14 hour days so I wanted to be able to check on our pup and give him treats during the periods he was alone. The camera works well but it's a few seconds delayed, as is the speaking component. The treat dispenser worked for the most part, there were a few times where it would jam up, but I was happy with that component. The one major issue is the sound of the dispenser as it freaked the heck out of my dog. For any of you with sensitive/skittish dogs, it might be an issue. My dog would run away from the machine every time a treat was dispensing, although he'd always come back to eat it later on so it wasn't a deal breaker. That being said, I decided it is good to have on hand for when I'm out of town but it's not something I plan on using every day. In fact, I put it away and will just bring it out on those occasions. The app is pretty cool and works well.

I really like the flex 2. It's simple but that's what I love about it. I have the Blaze also and wear that most of the time but I wanted the flex to wear in a bangle for when I need to look more professional at business meetings etc... It does exactly what it needs to do...count steps, which would not satisfy me if I didn't have my blaze for my actual workouts. But in the bangle it's very understated and people have no idea it's a fitness tracker. I love that you can pop out the tracker and put it into all of the coordinating accessories.

I love love love my blaze. I had actually purchased the Charge 2 first just because I didn't want to spend extra for the blaze, but gosh the Charge was so awful. It's really limited in functionality and I had bruising on my wrist after one day of wearing it. Coincidentally, the Blaze went on sale for the same price as the Charge a few days later so I made an even exchange and couldn't be happier. The Blaze is amazing. I've never had the Apple watch but I assume it's pretty comparable aside from all of the Apple specific features. I love the easy functionality, color screen and ways you can customize everything that shows up on your watch from the app. It's really accurate also very comfy. I sleep with it on a few times a week to keep my resting HR accurate and then on the other nights will switch to my Flex 2, which I have so I can wear it when I want to look more professional at client meetings and such. This watch is definitely worth the money!

I purchased this a few days ago and have been using it ever since. I have to say, I am not entirely thrilled with the device and am considering exchanging it for something else. I used to have the Garmin Vivofit and loved it. It was similar to the Alta as it was slim and showed all of your stats, time, phone alerts etc... across the band. However, after about 6 months the light on it started dimming and eventually disappeared, which was a shame because everything else about the watch was pretty perfect. I recently joined a new gym and thought I should get back into my fit lifestyle so I decided to get a Fitbit. I've been using this for the past few days and am a bit disappointed in a few things.
First, I don't feel that the exercise tracking is all that accurate. It is a bummer that there aren't more activity functions to choose from. I love to go to Spin class and was surprised that it was not an option. So after my class, I was shocked to see that after biking 11 miles for 40 minutes, the stats said I'd only biked half a mile for a total of 30 minutes. What the heck? However, it did calculate my calories burned correctly. Just doesn't make sense.
My other gripe is that it's pretty bulky and honestly not very comfortable. I almost feel like I have a bruise underneath wear it sits because it's just large and ill-formed. Lastly, I've had this on for just under two days and saw on the app today that the battery is below halfway charged, which leads me to believe that it won't stay charged for 5 days since I've really barely used it.
I may try the Alta or just go back to the Vivofit and see if perhaps the one I got was flawed. Goodluck if you buy this!
