It's a somewhat different story and a game mechanic refinement of the Shin Megami Tensei 4, but the same world. I'm not that far in, but it catches your attention and gets going much faster than SMT 4, it's got a few reused maps but that's expected. I've heard that the story may be shorter compared to SMT 4 and mostly just having one main pathway. It's not that much of an issue since I almost always choose "neutral" path in SMT and this looks like it's basically the start of the neutral choice. I just hope they take an idea or concept from this and explore it fully to make up for lack of choice.

It's a great version of Minecraft which allows play on the gamepad alone with the TV off or with the TV on with only the Wii U Pro controller when the gamepad is charging. I don't have that much experience with Minecraft but the framerate is very stable and smooth and the game loads very fast.

Decent cheap universal NiMH charger

I bought this since I wanted something that could charge batteries in all sizes and I don't like the "spacers" for fitting AA batteries in to C and D slots. I do realize that Energizer rechargable batteries use cells only slightly larger than AA in these, they are however less messy to use and I'm using them in clocks and flashlights that are easy to access and I don't mind the need to change them that often.
It charges at a reasonable rate and gives good indication of how far it's coming along.
If you need a rechargeable that gets the same amount of capacity as an Alkaline C,D, 9V from your battery so you don't need to charge as much go with a Powerex charger and their batteries.
If being forced to charge in pairs for AAA or AA bothers you, I have a few devices that use 3 batteries instead of 2, this unit requires it.

The Brother HL-L2360dw is a great low cost laser printer that can do automatic duplexing (it takes the sheet back in and prints the other side for each page). It sleep and deep sleeps saving power when it's not being used. The savings would be from it's automatic duplexing and how low power it is when sleeping. The toner use seems normal compared to every other laser printer (I recommend using toner saver option if you see it). The unit does start to pace itself after around 200 pages of dual sided printing and the image quality isn't great, but this printer should be bought for text mainly.
Two things to note, you cannot do wired connection and wireless at the same time. Also remember to lightly shake the toner and then move that plastic tab thing in the drum back and forth 3 times (there's videos of toner replacement for Brother units) to avoid initial problems.

I prefer a permanently wired gaming mouse that's not a Razer as I've had issues with the plastic in it's left click sometimes having issues. This is great. While I don't use programmable buttons, the adjustments you can make to the mouse via software, and the weights are great at making the mouse pretty comfortable. I would say the button on the side to help snipe is a bit too far away to realistically use as are the profile switcher if you were doing it mid-game or something with different roles.

A fighting game with Pokemon

It's a very well done system, if a bit hard learning and getting used to. It's much better in game balance after the patches that have been put in place. The roster of Pokémon isn't that vast, and it's weird switching between it's two fighting systems within a round. It is done well, and pretty good even for a player who's horrible at Tekken. While they do teach you in steps, it's easy to forget what they taught and how to implement those moves if you aren't used to fighting games.
I would advise caution going online, as most likely the people there will be people who are good at fighting games and will make it very hard for anyone still learning the ropes, or plays more casually.

If you take out the controls, it's a great Starfox game. I think it's more or less what we got with Starfox 64 with some more add ons, but Nintendo really has to realize that not everything needs to include heavy gamepad use. I suppose it may be fine if you had a second player you really trust, with one gunning and one flying, but it really feels weird swapping between the two. I mean if it adds to the game or integrates well without messing with the difficulty or pacing, like say Captain Toad, it's great, but I feel like I'm fighting the game mechanics than learning them and then using them. It takes a lot of the fun out of the flying sensation of the earlier games (perhaps except Starfox Command).
I can only recommend this for people who are willing to take a LOT of time to learn a system, or die hard Starfox fans (who may be better served by replaying 64 more).

I haven't played the earlier Pikmin series, but geez this game is fun. I teaches you to use of Pikmin and how to use them gradually, and you use them to basically puzzle solve your way through the world. The timer aspect isn't that bad as it keeps you on your toes and moving and you can always retry the day, or rewind even earlier if you really screw up.
It controls well, has a lot of charm, and is focused on making things fun, a great Nintendo entry.

I personally kind of take to the Tales series like comfort food a bit. I've gotten all of the main series since Tales of Phantasia (with some of the side games) and they can be up and down in quality. I think this one is good if not great. It's got a great cast, which is one of my main reasons for getting the series (who doesn't love the skits?), soundtrack and battle mechanics. The thing that seems weird is how Alisha kind of drops out of the picture, and the DLC featuring her doesn't do great in explaining/justifying that part. There is also the slow build up, which is getting a tiny bit annoying in JRPG.
I'd say it's a good entry, but not needed in the collection if you want to skip this one for something else.
One thing I would add is there seems to be optimization issues with the game engine. It may be from my PS3 version, as the game is also available for PS4, but the game will chug at times. Given the weirdness with the DLC I wouldn't be surprised if this entry was a bit rushed out the door.

The Legend of Heroes series has always been well done because of Nihon Falcom's in house music, and attention to keep battles fun and engaging. There has always been good production values visually, but not as great in some of the 3D models. It is text heavy, but to be expected of Nihon Falcom's non-Action RPG or Strategy game work.
This entry into the series is good with excellent characters and storyline, although it does somewhat cliff hanger the ending like most of the recent The Legend of Heroes games. I do feel somewhat that it's a bit odd in the pacing compared to an earlier entry like Trails in the Sky trilogy. The localization is very good.

I'm still more used to Nihon Falcom games being on the PC, and after having years of playing imports of their games it's nice to see we're getting a lot of their games in English now.
While I am somewhat annoyed that Nihon Falcom is now mainly developing on consoles, it feels like Blizzard becoming a console only company, it's nice that it's getting more localization, plus a lot of their re-mastered back catalogue is coming to the US on PC!

That depends on the battery not the charger as it's putting out a constant amount of power to the battery, but on average this charger does it in 3-6 hours depending on the battery size. If you have a battery that's rated at a higher milliampere-hour (mAh on battery labels) it'll take longer, but that also means the battery has more capacity. Also for the charge lasting it also depends on mAh rating since that tells you how much capacity the battery has. You will want low self discharge Ni-MH batteries if you are putting them into something you need to last though since they perform closer to Alkaline batteries and don't loose charge as fast when idle. Sometimes you'll see them marketed as "pre-charged".
