Professional Installers

We replaced our tired drop-in range with a new slide-in range from Best Buy. Since our old range was a drop-in model our kitchen cabinets and countertop had to be modified to accommodate the new slide-in model. I will say I was a little concerned because this involved a significant amount of cutting, but the Best Buy installers did a professional job. Our installers were very courteous, knew what they were doing and cleaned up before leaving. Thanks Best Buy!

Professional Installation

We purchased a new Bosch dishwasher from Best Buy and since I don't consider myself a handyman felt it was best to have the new dishwasher installed by a professional installer. The installation was completed on the date promised and it was obvious the installer knew what he was doing. The installers were very courteous and cleaned up before they left. Thanks Best Buy!

This is our first experience using a glass cooktop range and there is definitely a learning curve. Both the range top and oven appear to work well and we like the professional look of the range itself. The glass cook top does require more maintenance (cleaning) than our previous range because the glass top shows every little splash, spill, dust, etc. Also, you must be cautious as to what cookware is used so you don't scratch or break the glass. You must also use special cleaners on the cooktop. Jury is still out if I would recommend.

We have only had the refrigerator for about a month and like the features, but that's where it ends. Upon delivery the upper doors were not aligned properly and condensation was accumulating on the exterior of the upper doors and center drawer. I contacted Best Buy and was advised to contact Samsung since the refrigerator was under the manufacturer's warranty. I then contacted Samsung which was a complete waste of time. Regarding the misaligned doors, Samsung stated that the Best Buy delivery people should have corrected the problem and refused to do anything. Samsung should not have allowed the refrigerator to leave the factory with misaligned doors. Regarding the condensation problem, Samsung advised me to turn off the "Energy Saver" feature and that would correct the condensation problem. Well, why would a manufacturer advertise a feature that can't be used by the consumer. I will never purchase another Samsung product because I now know that if I do have a problem Samsung is not going to stand behind their products. Best Buy is replacing the refrigerator with a different model.

Protect That Expensive Lens

I purchased a 70-200mm lens from Best Buy and bought the Platinum 77mm UV Lens Filter at the same time to protect the front lens element. I only use UV filters to protect the lens element from scratches, dirt, moisture, etc. The lens manufacturer does recommend a lens filter in order to obtain dust and moisture resistance. The filter does not seem to affect the image quality of the lens.

Just my opinion, if you're looking for a 70-200mm lens there's nothing better than Canon's 70-200mm f/2.8 IS II USM lens. I've had the lens about 1 month and have used it on both my 6D and 7D Mark II. Image quality is outstanding, auto focus is instant and quiet, and the 4 stops of image stabilization works as advertised. Yes the lens is heavy and expensive, but they just don't come better than this.

Great Camera, Great Value

Currently have a Canon 80D which is a great camera, but wanted to add a full frame camera to my arsenal. After much research decided on the Canon EOS 6D. The 6D has many of the same qualities as the much more expensive 5D Mark III, but the 5D is about $1,100 more money. If you need a more sophisticated auto focus system, dual memory cards, more fps and better build quality then consider the 5D Mark III. I use the 6D for portraits, landscapes, low-light and night shoots and am very pleased with the results. I use the 80D for wildlife, sports and action because of the more advanced auto focus system, the extra reach and higher fps. You get a lot of bang for your buck with the 6D!

I currently have a cannon 6s and love it was wanting to upgrade soon to a full frame will my lens I currently have such as 50 mm 1.8 and my 85mm 1.8 work with this camera if I do upgrade??
If you upgrade to a Canon full frame camera any Canon "EF" lenses will be compatible. However, you can not use Canon EF-S lenses with a Canon full frame camera. I know that the Canon EF 50mm f/1.8 will work, but I'm not familiar with the 85mm f/1.8 lenses. If it's an EF series lenses it will work on a Canon full frame. Hope this helps.

What is the difference between 18-135 lens and 55-250 lens?
I have both of these lenses and use with a Canon T6s camera. I use the 18-135mm lens as my walk-around lens because it offers a wide range of focal lengths, wide angle to close-ups, etc. I use the 55-250 for the additional focal lengths if I'm shooting wildlife or distant shots.

Which lense for high school sports.....mainly football & soccer?
I am seriously considering buying this camera. A much wanted upgrade from my 1st DSLR Olympus E-510!
Is the 18-135mm lense sufficient for high school football and soccer games, or would the 55-250mm be necessary?

I have Canon T6s which came with the 18-135mm lens. It's a great walk-around lens, but for photographing sports I think you would be much happier with the 55-250mm lens to get the extra distance. I recently purchased a Canon 55-250mm lens for $299 and am very pleased with the results I am getting. It's a budget lens, but read the reviews and you will find that most people are very pleased with the 55-250mm Canon lens.
