Close to a Technics 1200

I haven't DJ in years, and my exposure to mixing on vinyl was limited.
What I can say is that I was never satisfied with other direct drive turntables (numark etc.) Now that they don't make technics and used ones are $600+, this is the closest thing I have found. The design and layout is almost exact. The top differences I would note is slightly cheaper feel to the quality. For example, the pop up light feel inferior.
The torque isn't quite that of a tech1200, but its suitable. The direct drive is audible through headphones if listening to music in a quiet room. (If your looking for the highest quality sound, go with a belt driven table with a better cartridge.)

What sold me is the versatility with the outputs. (Line & Phone, plus USB) Most newer receivers are missing the pre-amp phono in. Not sure I will use the USB to connect to a computer, but I have that option if needed.
At $250-300, this is a solid turntable for the money..

Can you tell me the outer dimensions of the box the AT-LP-120-USB comes in? (I want to put the entire package in a suitcase.) Thanks.
Not sure if you got your dimensions question answered..
But if you are asking because you want to take it on a plane, you need to consider the weight more so than the size. This thing is heavy, and exceeds US domestic airlines limits and will cost significantly more than you probably want to pay to take it on a plane.. Better off shipping.
