TLDR: Pricey, but the new Magnetic Switches are Amazing. The OLED display adds little to the keyboard, unlike Asus' competitors.
PROS Huge 8000Hz polling rate for gaming 96% Size is ideal Magnetic Switches are top-notch Quiet actuation, yet extremely satisfying Perfect (for me) RGB backlighting
CONS Gear Link Software is meh High price point Extremely limited OLED functionality Limited Control Knob functionality
INITIAL SET-UP / GEARLINK After an easy to obtain firmware update, the ROG Azoth uses the Gear Link web interface for configuration. While it is OK, it doesn't allow full customization options like Asus' competitors' software. It gets a majority of what you would want to tweak, but still doesn't allow for full, fine-grain levels of adjustment that I desire. For example, to save some battery, I am perfectly happy working with a polling rate of 250Hz for typing. Unfortunately, I haven't found a way to enable full 250Hz polling. While you can switch between 3 different built-in modes, there isn't a full custom option where I can set the RGB lighting and adjust polling rates independent of the modes. Is it user error? Possibly. If so, it isn't easily or readily apparent.
I get why Asus is using Gear Link. It allows you to take your keyboard with you and fine tune it on other systems without the need of installing a full software customization suite. However, there are still tweaks that are not available with Gear Link that are available with others' software.
GAMING & DESIGN Aside from the OLED display, I love nearly every aspect about this keyboard. It looks and feels extremely high-end. These new HFX V2 Magnetic Switches are now the gold standard for which I will judge others' keyboards. While I love those clicky mechanical keys, when it comes to gaming, they now pale in comparison. Mechanical keys, once the standard by which other keys and keyboards have been judged, Asus has effectively rewritten the book and judgement criteria.
Not only do they offer a premium, muted mechanical feel, when it comes to gaming, these new Magnetic Switches are game changers. Unlike true mechanical keys, the HFX V2 Magnetic Switches don't require a full depress & release to cycle. Asus' magnetic switches reset as soon as they begin getting released. Additionally, the keys themselves, especially the ASDW keys can be programmed to reduce the amount of travel required before actuation. Users are no longer limited to pre-defined mechanical key travels, Asus' new switches can be programmed to down to .1mm increments, making gaming almost unfair. Not to mention with them not needing a full release to cycle, keyboard gaming is noticeably more accurate and precise. Almost too precise, as I've had to reprogram my brain to fully utilize the new style of key. It's quite remarkable.
OLED DISPLAY / CONTROL KNOB This is my one true disappointment in the Azoth. Yes, the OLED display is full color and beautiful to look at, but it is small and serves limited purpose. At least at this point in the development. I have an OLED keyboard from another huge gaming manufacturer and while their OLED display is only monochrome, it is FAR more useful than the ROG. For starters, I am a huge believer in monitoring my systems' vitals while gaming. This is something Asus' competition does far better. The Azoth is only able to monitor CPU voltage, nothing more as far as system vitals are concerned. My other keyboard will display real-time CPU / GPU utilization and temperature, as well as time, date, etc. The Azoth is EXTREMELY limited in its abilities. Even if paired with an Asus gaming desktop or laptop. I could understand if I was trying to retrieve hardware information from a competitors' CPU/GPU combination, but the inability to monitor system vitals from an actual Asus platform is unacceptable.
I feel the same can be said with the Control Knob. Yes, it is nice to have and has a good number of features. For example, it can be used for Media Playback, adjust switch actuations & sensitivity, Keyboard and OLED brightness, etc. but I still feel the primary competitor does the Control Knob better. Here is my main rub why. If say typing a review, I usually set the Control Knob for System Volume or Media Track. That way I can listen to some tunes or have the latest Formula 1 or MotoGP race streaming in the background. However, if I change my mind and want to adjust keyboard brightness or change my OLED display, I can't program my Control Knob to cycle between functions. To change between functions, I'm forced to go into the Gear Link interface and switch functions. My other keyboard can be programmed so that when I push in on the Control Knob it will switch to a different function and when that function changes, the rotary part of the Control Knob changes accordingly. It is a much smoother and more integrated set-up.
FINAL THOUGHTS Do I like the new Azoth 96 HE? Yes, it has an excellent form factor. I have absolutely no complaints about the keyboard, layout, or build quality. I've been fortunate to have been able to review gaming keyboards from nearly every manufacturer over the years and this one stands proud. Head and shoulders above the others. The new ROG HFX Magnetic Switches are awesome!
Is the Azoth 96 HE perfect? No. The OLED and control knob feel half-baked and poorly integrated at this point in its introduction. I know from experiencing others' offerings that the OLED and Control Knob can be better implemented and far more user friendly. I'm hoping Asus further refines the display and control knob making them more functional.
Lastly, I would like more granular control of the keyboard itself. While the keyboard offers 3 ways to connect (RF, USB-C, and Bluetooth) I would like the ability to set aspects of the keyboard manually. For example, as I type this review using the RF receiver, I don't need the full 8000Hz polling rate. However, I'm limited at what I can do. I can lower the polling rate by switching to a different mode like Zone or Power-Saving. But, I dislike those modes as well, as they disable the RGB backlighting. Something I really appreciate in dimly lit rooms. Please add a Full Custom Mode.

TLDR: High Spousal Acceptance Factor, but app & website is buggy
PROS Easily consolidates multiple calendar platforms Bright, Easy-to-Read Display Stand & Wall Mount Included
CONS Requires Power Brick / Not USB-C Powered Buggy Software Buggy Website Buggy Firmware Expensive Add-On Subscription
SET-UP My wife is very particular about keeping track of our daily lives and putting festivities and activities into a calendar. My kid and I are VERY good at ignoring them. She was SO excited when this came up for review. When I created the Skylight account, I used her Google calendar for syncing. Even on my Android phone with a different account, entering her information into the Skylight was painless and didn't mess up my phone and its settings in the least. OUTSTANDING!! I was very surprised at how easy it was to get going.
The Calendar powered up, connected to Wi-Fi and started syncing data. Shortly thereafter, it received an update. Everything seemed great. The Calendar rebooted, all the data was live and up-to-date, Wi-Fi functioned as normal, Skylight servers were active, so I put it back in the box for a couple of days to deal with a family emergency. Upon getting it back out is when things went sideways and my love affair with the Calendar fell apart.
Re-powering up the Calendar 2 was a failure. The device powered up, but refused to connect to Wi-Fi, refused to connect to servers, and worst of all, failed to reset itself because of its lack of Wi-Fi. I tried my home Wi-Fi and the Wi-Fi hotspots of 2 different Android phones to get the Skylight to connect. Nothing worked. What an exercise in frustration. Not to mention, the troubleshooting guides on the Skylight website are of little use for troubleshooting. I tried all recommended procedures to reset the device and none of them worked. I tried the old "hold the power button to reset" trick, hoping that would work. Thankfully, it did.
After rebooting, the Calendar 2 popped up a window with a website to go to in order to activate the device. There is another problem. The website listed on the Calendar 2 doesn't work. The URL goes to a plain, white page with nothing. It's not a browser issue either. I tried accessing the "Final Step" website via a Chrome browser on my Android phone and via the Edge and Firefox browsers on my Windows computer. All did the exact same thing. A blank white page with nothing. No way to activate the device. Luckily, I was able to fiddle around in the Skylight app and found an activation code that finally came up because I had to factory reset my Calendar. After getting the code via the app, the Calendar 2 was back up and running. Unfortunately, most everything had to be reconfigured from my prior set-up. Annoying.
USE So far, my wife is extremely happy with the Calendar 2. After the reset, my wife logged into our now shared Skylight account and all her calendar information showed up within seconds. The Skylight app does a great job of incorporating many of the most popular calendar apps with little to no effort. The Skylight app seamlessly syncs with Google, Outlook, Yahoo, and Apple calendars. Linking accounts was easy and straight forward. I could not ask for an easier set-up process for app management.
If it's available on your calendar app of choice, it is available on your Calendar 2. Events, Tasks, Reward system, Lists, Weather, etc. are all available and all are just a tap away. The Calendar 2 being a touchscreen is what makes the ecosystem so enjoyable. You can enter information in the app on your phone or tablet or use the easy-to-understand touchscreen. It's slick and with a 1920 x 1080 full HD resolution, easy to read and see. By default, I set the Calendar 2 to display one month of information and a full seven days. In landscape mode, all dates and data are very legible and easy to see. Props to Skylight for such a clear display with so much data displayed at one time.
NEGATIVES Most of the negatives I have with the Calendar 2 have already been addressed in the SET-UP section of my review. There are only 2 additional negatives that I would mention.
One. Recipes and meal recommendations are locked behind a paywall. However, I have to note, EVERYTHING else is free to use.
Two. The weather information only displays current conditions. I would like the weather icon to be touchable and when accessed take you to the weather forecast. That would be hugely beneficial as a lot of activities, especially with the kids are often outdoor. If the Calendar 2 had some way to display weather forecasts on the device itself, it would be hugely beneficial to planning.
FINAL THOUGHTS Would I recommend the Calendar 2? My wife gives it a full 2 thumbs up! She absolutely loves the Calendar 2. Me, being the tech support, installer, and troubleshooter, am more apprehensive. Yes, I absolutely loved how easy it was to get going on first boot. However, the issues experienced with moving the Calendar from one part of the house and setting up in another part of the house is quite concerning. I am anxious to see what happens when the spring storms hit again and we lose power. Am I going to have this trouble again?
I give it 3 stars. My wife says 5. I too, would give it 5 stars but the troublesome reconfiguration tarnished the Calendar 2's image in my eyes. I will generously give it 4 stars with the hope that Skylight can get their bugs worked out, as others rave about the prior generation.

TLDR: Versatile & worth a look whether you are a true athlete or not.
PROS Rechargeable Multiple heads for nearly any spot Multiple Power / Intensity Levels
CONS Only 1 heated head Very aggressive even on Low
USE I had never thought about ever using a percussion massager. But after a trip to my chiropractor, I was hooked. After many years of chiropractor visits, the percussion massagers are a game-changer. My chiropractor uses one prior to any adjustments and I admit that the way they relax muscles really helps in keeping adjustments in place.
Now that I have my own percussion massager, I feel like I've stumbled on a secret. Why didn't I get one of these sooner? I thought only athletes or endurance runners used them. Who would have ever thought I would get so much use out of one. I'm far from an athlete, though I do try and stay in decent shape.
One thing I can speak to is that after a long Saturday of riding dirt bikes and motorcycles, the Hyperice is a must have for me. As I get older, there are more and more recovery days between rides. I find that the Hyperice works great after a long weekend of beating the body up with dirt bikes. A lot of Sundays and Mondays were spent with sore muscles over the years. Do I still have sore muscles? Yes. But the Hyperice does a fantastic job of relieving some of the soreness and stiffness that often comes after. The Hyperice makes those Sundays and Mondays much more bearable ... or maybe if I didn't crash so often ...
The Hypervolt 3 comes with several interchangeable heads. Each made for a specific purpose. From thighs to calfs, to triceps or pecs, there is an attachment to get what you need. I'm a big fan of the heated head. It is especially effective on sore shoulder blades after a weekend of fun.
CONS The only real negative I can find with the Hyperice is the aggressiveness of the percussion. There are times when I just want to use the Hyperice to help eliminate some of the fatigue of the stresses of life. It is nearly impossible to use on your neck to help work out a kink and/or stress headache. Life has been so stressful lately that I would love to be able to just use the Hyperice for a gentle massage on the back of the neck without feeling like it was trying to beat my eyeballs out.
VERDICT Aside from the one minor quibble, there isn't anything not to like about the Hyperice Hypervolt. It makes workouts and sports more enjoyable knowing that you have some way to help alleviate the repercussions of your activities. I find myself much more willing to push myself knowing that I can use it to speed recovery.

CONS Small Design Limits Debris Capacity Medium & Boost Modes Limit Runtime Substantially Not Suited for Rugs or Carpets
USE The Dyson Fluffycones may very well be my favorite quick clean-up vacuum to date. I've had a Dyson V8 cordless vacuum as my go-to handheld for quite some time, as well as some of Dyson's competitors' products. While all have been excellent, they have all followed the same recipe. A large motorhead and battery pack attached to a stick. Not to mention, they are built like vacuums from decades ago. Made to go back-and-forth in a straight line. Not only that, the large motorhead and battery pack hanging off the top of all these vacuums seriously limits their versatility and maneuverability, especially when working under furniture.
The Dyson Fluffycones changes all that. The form factor is excellent. The Pencilvac is literally 2" in diameter from top to bottom. No bulky motorheads, no bulky battery packs. Dyson designed a new motor capable of spinning up to 140k RPM and a swappable 4-cell battery. The design is impressively slim and quite powerful for its size. Impressive what they were able to fit within the size constraints of the Pencilvac.
The tapered Fluffycones head reminds me of my kid's Krazy Kart. No longer made for back-and-forth strides, the Fluffycones head can literally switch and change to any direction at any time. Side-to-side, diagonal, back-and-forth, around in circles, etc. It effortlessly changes directions without being obstinate or sound like its scraping your floors to pieces.
I thought the Dyson green LED lights would be a gimmick. How could they really be any better than true, white LED's at illuminating the area ahead? I was wrong. The "headlight" and "taillight" of the Pencilvac do an EXCELLENT job of illuminating the path in front of and behind the vacuum. I was surprised at just how well they work at spotting dust and debris on your floors. Honestly, somewhat embarrassed too.
BATTERY LIFE Dyson claims up to 30 minutes of runtime in Eco mode. I estimate approximately 2500 - 3000 square feet can be cleaned on a single charge, using Eco mode. I estimate a total runtime of about 26 minutes, with Medium and Boost modes eating HEAVILY into those times. Dyson has swappable 4-cell battery packs should you need or want additional runtime.
MANEUVERABILITY This is the ONE section that the Pencilvac puts overs to shame. The Fluffycones is oh so versatile. Not only is it absolutely the most maneuverable vacuum I've used, but it is also the most convenient. Combining unparalleled maneuverability with the Fluffycones head with a design that is less than 4" tall when rotated for cleaning, users can easily fit it under furniture for the most effortless cleaning I've ever had. End tables, beds, nightstands, armoires, I was able to get the Fluffycones head under all my furniture. Not only that, those superbright, green LED's lit up under all the furniture finding stuff I should have gotten for some time. Oops. Moving heavy furniture to clean under it is a thing of the past. It really is that easy.
CONS The cons are limited.
The Fluffycones Pencilvac is intended for hard surfaces. Hardwoods, LVP, tile, engineered hardwoods, etc. It is not made for carpets or rugs. It had zero issues cleaning the distressed hardwoods and tile floors in my house and the engineered hardwoods in my mom's. I find that the consistent finish on LVP or engineered hardwoods make it easier for the Pencilvac to operate in Eco mode, while the distressed hardwoods in my house like to see Medium speed for best results. While Eco mode is doable on my distressed hardwoods, some of the deeper grooves like the added suction power of the higher settings.
The thin, narrow design of the Pencilvac severely limits its overall dust and dirt holding capacity. But, I will admit that I was able to clean all my hardwoods and tile floors, along with my mom's entire house before needing to empty the hopper. But, I could see owners of large pets needing to empty the hopper much more frequently.
FINAL THOUGHTS Would I buy a Fluffycones Pencilvac? Yes, absolutely. It is a perfect companion for those of us that have non-carpeted flooring. Of all the vacuums I've received for testing, this is one that really breaks the mold and is truly innovative. Unrivaled versatility and maneuverability make this a great product for those of us whose house and/or apartments have primarily hard floor surfaces.
The ROG Raikiri II Xbox Wireless controller features TMR joysticks, 1KHz polling rate in PC mode, four rear buttons, dual-mode triggers, micro-switch buttons, and tri-mode connectivity.

This invitation-only program provides BestBuy.com reviewers with manufacturer-supplied products for the purpose of writing honest, unbiased and usage-based reviews. TLDR: The ROG Raikiri 2 is a very well-designed controller. With Tri-Mode connectivity, it is a serious contender for best controller on the market, especially if you have a ROG Ally.
PROS Micro Switches in D-Pad and Buttons Programmable back buttons Up to 50hrs of battery life No Missed Inputs from 2.4GHz
CONS RGB design is practically pointless No options to change polling rates Switching required for PC and/or XBox
SET-UP / INTIAL CONFIGURATION I find the Asus offerings for apps hap-hazard. It is not clear and concise like its competition. The Raikiri 2 is a perfect example. It is not natively supported via Windows without the Gamepad Companion. To make matters worse, if you want to make any changes to RGB etc. you have to use the Armoury Crate.
Then, after downloading what you think you need, Asus prompts you for a mandatory firmware update that once complete, tells you that the Raikiri now supports Gear Link on-line customization. How confusing. Is it manageable? Yes. But it shouldn't be like this. Asus combine your apps and utilities. If you want to push Gear Link, make sure it fully supported without having to guess what apps and utilities you need to make it happen.
USE Though initially frustrated with the set-up steps, those frustrations quickly subsided the more I use the Raikiri.
First, I am thoroughly impressed with the tri-mode connectivity option of the Raikiri. Featuring the ability to connect via Bluetooth, 2.4GHz, or hard-wired USB-C, the Raikiri is sure to be a versatile companion. I find the SpeedNova tech built into the 2.4GHz dongle particularly impressive. I'm not sure what the Raikiri is using for a transport protocol, but I have yet to have a missed input from the Raikiri. Something I cannot say for some of Asus' competitors, as I've noticed this issue in the past with others' technology.
I find myself still trying to get used to the microswitches in the D-Pad and buttons. I've never had a controller using microswitches. I have to reprogram my brain every time I switch from another brand of controller to the Raikiri. At first, it seems the buttons are defective and ready to break, until I remember that these use microswitches for actuation then I find myself enjoying the unique experience.
The Raikiri sports all the latest and greatest design elements for controllers nowadays. Dual mode triggers and programmable back buttons are the norm and expected on high-end gaming controllers. The Raikiri 2's button placement is absolutely spot on. I've criticized others' offerings of being just a bit off and unnatural feeling while playing. The Raikiri 2's back buttons and trigger placement are 100% spot on. At least for me, as my hands and fingers fall perfectly in-line.
CONS The RGB lighting is pointless. Why? Well, the RGB strips built-in to the Raikiri 2 are in the sides of the hand grips. Using the Raikiri? You aren't going to be able to see the RGB lighting. Your hands cover them up. I know the RGB lighting was added because some folks find it essential, but this implementation is an afterthought to an otherwise nearly perfectly designed controller.
I don't like the 2, separate switches on the back to change modes. There is one switch for Xbox and a separate switch for transmission mode. If you want to use Xbox, you have slide a switch to the Xbox setting and then choose the connection method and vice versa. More than once I've experienced connection issues with the Raikiri. Thinking it was malfunctioning, only to find out the switches weren't in the right setting.
FINAL THOUGHTS Every time I get a new controller for testing, I think there is no way this product can be topped. The Raikiri 2 falls into my trap once again. Dethroning my previous go-to controller as my favorite.
The TMR joysticks and unique use of microswitches make it just different enough to find it appealing, unique, and quite premium.
This is a great controller for the PC and an absolute must-have if you are using a ROG Ally as it is designed with special buttons specifically for the device.

CONS Not 4k No USB-C for Power or Input No Speakers
INPUTS 1 x USB-B 1 x USB-A 1 x 3.5mm Headphone 2 x HDMI (2.1) 1 x DP (1.4)
GAMING QUALITY
I have zero complaints about the Samsung image quality. OLED monitors are the latest and greatest monitors to hit the market. Although they often cost a premium over conventional VA and IPS LED monitors, they are totally worth it.
I don't know of any apps, programs, or games that do not benefit from an OLED monitor. If your go-to games are ones like Call of Duty, Cyberpunk, Doom, etc., OLED's are your friend. Their ability to reach to complete black without crushing are musts. Anyone that has been frustrated by hard to see enemies in dimly lit scenarios will absolutely love an OLED monitor. No other technology offers the ability to reproduce such deep, dark scenes without distortion.
Samsung's new "OLED Glare Free" screen is very nice. Using it back-to-back with a competitor's 27" OLED gaming monitor, the reduction in glare and reflections is quite noticeable. The best part of the new screen is that it doesn't have the traditional matte looking finish like most anti-glare screens. That is good, as you get a reduction in glare, but still get to enjoy all those beautifully saturated colors.
COLOR REPRODUCTION If you are springing for an OLED monitor, it better be able to deliver the goods when it comes to color reproduction and accuracy. The new G6 delivers. I measured color accuracy with my X-Rite i1 Display Pro. Photos attached show color reproduction accuracy. The G6 is extremely accurate with colors below the limit for visual errors, aka a Delta Error less than 2. Excellent work Samsung.
NEGATIVES I know built-in speakers aren't often used with gaming monitors, but I still like to have them built-in. I don't always want my headphones on when surfing or just doing work. The option to use a monitor's speakers would be a welcome addition.
I wish the monitor offered provisions for USB-C, both for data and for power. The Samsung power brick is annoying, not to mention feels like it's going to break every time I have to plug in the barrel connector to the back of the monitor. I really prefer competitors' gaming monitors that take a basic 3-conductor computer power cable.
FINAL THOUGHTS It's hard to find major faults with the Samsung G6. With a blistering 500Hz refresh rate, .03ms response time, and OLED black levels that are second to none, what's not to like?
The silver stand and back look very nice and there is just enough RGB to satisfy those that want the feature without being over-bearing and obnoxious. If you are in the market for a new monitor, the G6 should be on your shopping list. Pricier than VA or IPS panels, but so worth it.
The H7 Soundbar is our most advanced soundbar yet~powered by the Alpha 11 processor. Premium Peerless drivers ensure you're fully immersed in the content you love. TLDR: A significant upgrade from LG's previous generation. Dolby Flex Connect makes setting up a surround sound system pain-free.
This review will mirror a lot of my M5 review, as they were sent along with this H7 soundbar for evaluation.
PROS Flex Connect Auto Room Calibration Multiple Placement Options and Configurations Compatible with all TV's that have eARC, not just LG
CONS Non-standard wall mount bracket spacing for soundbar Cold sounding with little warmth from drivers Not compatible with Amazon Prime Music
APP / INSTALLATION For anyone who has ever set-up a surround system in the past, the Dolby Atmos Flex-Connect is an absolute game changer. Buyers are no longer required to run dozens of feet of speaker wires, knock holes in their walls for surrounds, connect everything to an often-complicated home theater receiver and then spend hours calibrating to perfection.
Today? Easy. If you have a compatible LG TV, buyers need only find 3 power outlets, as plugging in the power cords is the most difficult part of installing an LG Sound Suite. Don't have a compatible LG TV with Flex Connect built-in? No worry. The system works just as well with an e-ARC connection as well. I tried the system with both a compatible LG OLED and a non-compatible Hisense TV. Both work flawlessly with the Sound Suite.
This new LG Sound Suite is replacing a good, but aging LG S95TR surround system. While the S95TR was good at the time, but WowOrchestra was already reaching end of life. Plus, the S95 system was very particular with speaker placement. VERY PARTICULAR. Even with its built-in calibration, sound was still a bit off and not fully convincing and enveloping. You can immediately tell after a true back-to-back comparison that the Dolby Atmos Flex Connect has far more precision and processing power than the long-in-the-tooth WowOrchestra and the S95TR.
While not my favorite of apps, LG should be commended at developing a universal app that accommodates products from all their consumer lines. Just like nearly every recent product, the Sound Suite is configured with the LG ThinQ app. It's easy enough to use and does a decent job of organizing disparate products under one roof. Setting up the Sound Suite in the ThinQ app was easy and non-eventful, though it took considerably more time to update firmware and adopt the speakers than I would have thought.
DOBLY ATMOS FLEX CONNECT What makes DAFC so revolutionary? It the ease and simplicity of nearly unlimited speaker placement options and the ability to overcome and compensate for less-than-ideal placement. DAFC is FAR superior to WowOrchestra in EVERY way. Start by getting your soundbar connected via whatever means (e-ARC or Flex). Once configured and updated, you can then add your L/R or Surround speakers. Not sure how you want them to work? No worries. Try them as a L/R Front pair. Change your mind? No worries either. Feel free to move them to surrounds. Why? Because as soon as you move speaker placements, the Flex Connect algorithm will go back and adjust those speakers based on placement. No configuration changes, no menus in your receiver to navigate, just a simple tap within the LG app and the magic begins.
Using a series of test tones (music) the soundbar listens to itself and any other available Flex Connect compatible speakers. In my case, compatible speakers included the LG Sound Suite M5's. Using some technical wizardry, the Dolby Atmos Flex Connect algorithm automagically determines speaker placement, distance, volume levels, delay times, etc. It works so slick. I can't believe how far home theater has come since the first Dolby surround receivers. What used to take hours to tweak to perfection, now takes literally 1 minute, at the most. It is scary accurate.
SOUND QUALITY While the LG Sound Suite is a solid step above my existing S95TR system, i still find the Sound Suite overly flat. It's as if Peerless went above and beyond to try and make the Sound Suite neutral sounding. Almost too much so. Even after calibration and tweaking of the tone controls, the Sound Suite lacks soul and sounds unnecessarily sterile. Hard to describe and not a deal breaker, but if you are used to a system that sounds warm and welcoming, this is not for you.
To give a fair break to LG, this system ships without the available subwoofer. Having the ability to produce some lower octaves may, and would surely, change the entire listening experience. Even with its neutral sound, it still is leaps and bounds better than my SG10TY soundbar and sub combo. The added woofers in the H7 soundbar do a better job at providing a much fuller soundstage than the SG10 or the S95TR.
NEGATIVES This system supports Spotify Connect and Apple Airplay but doesn't natively support Amazon Prime Music Streaming. The system will not show up as a destination in the Prime Music app while streaming unless you pair it with lossy Bluetooth while using an Android-based phone or tablet.
The second issue is as mentioned above, the overly sterile sound and lack of personality.
FINAL THOUGHTS The era of huge AV receivers, hundreds of feet of speaker wire, and what often comes just short of a renovation to install a home theater is coming to a close. I've been a home theater buff since the very beginning of the Dolby Pro-Logic systems back in the day. I remember spending hours and days making over rooms into dedicated home theaters. My OCD attention to detail often earned props from the spousal acceptance factor, while the multiple remotes that were often required, complicated menus, and input switching did not. Even basic home theaters were often too complicated to be readily accessible for all family members.
LG and Dolby are changing all that. As soundbars started becoming more popular, us home theater folks would scoff at their sound quality and dimensionality. The offerings today are putting us in our places. Easily blurring the lines of a dedicated home theater and a soundbar-based system. Offering performance that is often on par with all but the most lavish systems, make a system like the LG Sound Suite wildly appealing. Ease of installation and configuration without the penalties inherent to systems like these in the past. Home theater soundbars and systems have come a long way. Well done LG!
Build your Sound Suite with wireless speakers that unlock a deeper, more cinematic experience~with spatial sound that flows all around. Enjoy an effortless setup with Dolby Atmos FlexConnect and a refined design that~s equally seamless.

This review will closely mirror my H7 Soundbar review as the M5's were sent with an H7 Soundbar for evaluation
PROS Amazing Dolby Atmos Flex Connect Nearly infinite placement options Superior looks compared to predecessor MUCH more appealing than their S95TR predecessors
CONS Sterile / No Soul Sound Mono drivers best suited for surrounds Little help from bass radiators Must have an H7 Soundbar or LG TV to use DAFC No direct Amazon Music streaming support
LG ThinQ App The LG ThinQ App is not my favorite app, but it does an excellent job of taking products from across LG's entire consumer products line and combining them into one, common app. LG has done a good job at making uncommon appliances all easy to use and configure with one app, instead of forcing users to use multiple apps for each of its product lines. They should get a tip of the hat for their efforts. Not to mention, the ThinQ app works equally well on my Android 16 devices as well as my iOS devices.
SET-UP The M5's are set-up and configured easily with the ThinQ app. Set-up and firmware updates are easy to complete and pain-free. Upon first opening the M5's, I tested them solely as a stereo pair with no soundbar. Once plugged in and their firmware updated, they easily "talked" to each other and without the soundbar, magically figured out I was wanting them set up as a stereo L/R configuration. It was slick. An immediate prompt verified my desires and after a somewhat lengthy programming, they were up and running without issue. It was slick how they worked and calibrated themselves.
SOUND QUALITY Like I said above, this review will closely mirror my H7 review, the sound from the M5's is sterile and has no soul. They aren't overly bright, nor are they warm and rich sounding. Judging speakers is 100% subjective as what one person likes, another may despise. To each their own. While I don't despise the sound quality of the M5's, I'm not taken aback by it either. The M5's would not be my first choice in a stereo pair for music listening, nor would they be my first choice as a L/R pair in a surround system. However, they work great as surround channels in a DAFC system, providing just the right amount of ambience where, frankly, the M7's would be overkill.
DOLBY ATMOS FLEX CONNNECT I think a little explanation could be needed when implementing a DAFC system, as it took me a bit of research to wrap my head around it.
Alone, the M5 speakers will are not able to be used as a DAFC system. They can be used as a stereo pair and tied together easily with the LG ThinQ app, but in order to implement them in a DAFC scenario, buyers must either have a compatible LG TV with DAFC built-in or the H7 Sound Suite Soundbar, or both. If you have a compatible LG TV, the TV becomes the brains of the DAFC system and serves as the controller. It will "reach out" to the M5's and determine their placement and positioning and do the math and configuration of your system. Likewise, if you don't have a compatible LG TV, you must have the H7 soundbar to have a DAFC system. You can hook an H7 soundbar to any TV via the e-ARC HDMI port and let the H7 become the brains of the DAFC system. It will take over the role of the controller and configure your system.
I tried the M5's with a compatible LG TV and with a non-compatible Hisense TV using its e-ARC channel and found that either way, DAFC performed equally with the only difference be the quality of sound from the TV's internal speakers versus a dedicated soundbar.
CONS I don't like that by default, the M5's cannot be used a destination source for Amazon Prime Music streaming. They are only compatible with Spotify Connect. I don't use Spotify, so for me, it is demerit for the M5's.
Secondly, I'm not a fan of the sterile sound produced by the M5's. It's not offensive by any means, they just lack soul. There's no warmth, there's no musicality. As a set of surrounds, they work perfect, but I would not use them as a stereo pair for streaming or as my main L/R channels in a full DAFC system. Again, evaluating speakers is totally subjective and I fully admit that I'm snobby when it comes to listening.
FINAL THOUGHT Would I recommend the M5's? Yes. They work great a set of DAFC surround channels. That's how I have them configured in my system. I initially tried them as standalone L/R stereo pair and then used them as L/R channels along with my H7 soundbar. They didn't cut it for me. But they work perfect as an inconspicuous set of surrounds.
Configuring them in any scenario is pain-free and some of the easiest I've ever experienced. Anyone that's configured surround systems in the past should be absolutely floored at just how easy and accurate the Dolby Atmos Flex Connect system can be set-up. It is truly game changing. You literally place the speakers where you want them, plug them in, and using the room calibration tool in the ThinQ app. It plays a series of music and within seconds configures the positioning, crossover, delay, placement, etc. Just, Wow!

PROS Aggressive Voice Suppression Up to 8hrs Battery Life with ANC Excellent Soundcore App
CONS Soundcore App not supported by all Android 16 Devices Wonky & Cheap touch controls Fitment test results are not in sync with each other Never could get a good fit test to complete
TLDR: This is my first set of Anker earbuds. The Liberty 5's represent Anker's top-of-line offering for earbuds. They mostly hit the mark, good in many aspects, but not nearly as polished as premium offerings.
SET-UP / INITIAL CONFIGURATION I have multiple devices I use to test new audio products. I'm glad I do. I often find that products and their respective apps don't always perform as well on one platform as they do on others. This is the case with the Anker Soundcore app. It is polished and pristine on my iPad, proving to be a well-designed and intuitive offering. Anyone that has had experience with any of Anker's other smart products, from chargers to battery packs, will immediately feel at home with the Soundcore app.
Same with installation on my new Pixel 10 Pro. The Soundcore app works slick and intuitively, with little to no difference in the experience from iOS to Android 16. However, the Soundcore app fails miserably on my Samsung Tab A9+. I'm not sure why, but the Soundcore app refuses to install on the tablet, even though it is running the latest Android 16 update. I'm guessing it is hardware issue, but I will say this is the first time I've ever had an app fail from one Android device to another, running the same OS.
SOUND / AUDIO QUALITY Out of the box audio quality of the Liberty 5's is horrible. They are some of the worst sounding ear buds I've ever experienced. Even worse than some of the cheapest of the cheap wired headphones you can get at a bargain thrift store. The Liberty 5's come out of the box tuned with so much high-end treble that they actually hurt my ears.
Thankfully, Anker stepped in with their Soundcore app and offer a robust audio tuning algorithm. Playing a pre-made audio track, the Soundcore app will walk you through tailoring the sound output to your liking. Focusing on tailoring all three areas of the listening spectrum; the lows, mids, and high frequency reproduction. Like I stated above, the Liberty 5's were so bright that I almost couldn't stand using them. I'm glad I put in the effort, as the Soundcore app allowed me to roll back the top end and even out the audio spectrum to my likening. A little effort and a couple of minutes of your time brings a very rewarding experience. From a nearly unusable product to one that is nicely balanced and pleasing.
FITMENT The Liberty 5's include tips from XXS to XXL. There seems to be a size to fit everyone. Everyone except me apparently, at least according to the fit-test. While using the app to tailor my music profile, the Soundcore app responded that I had a sufficient seal with the earbuds to adequately prevent outside distractions. However, once I completed the audio profiling, the fit-test never did complete properly. I tried literally every single pair of silicone plugs included with the Liberty 5's and every single tip said that they weren't sealing properly in my ear canal, when just minutes before the profile test reported a good product seal. Interesting.
After several hours worth of use now, I tend to believe the fitment test more that the profiling test. Regardless of silicone tip I use, I just cant seem to find one that fits right. From XXS to XXL, none of them seem to allow the Liberty 5's to fit properly. Maybe I have oddball ears or maybe it's the shape and design of the earbuds themselves, but I have yet to find a properly feeling fitment.
ANC Anker's Active Noise Cancellation technology emphasizes voice cancellation. I have to say that the Liberty's do a good job at reducing human voices, with a marked reduction in outside distractions. However, they don't work well with human voice coming from sources like a TV. They are far less effective at cancelling artificial voices comparted to actual human speech.
BOTTOM LINE Anker's new Liberty 5's are an attractive option at an attractive price point. After proper tuning, they are very good sounding and performing set of earbuds. Are they the best product out there? No. I can't get a proper seal in my ear canal, the touch controls feel unbelievably cheap and are hard to use, and the Soundcore app has compatibility issues. However, with some careful tuning using the Soundcore app on a supported device, the Liberty 5's excel at drowning out ambient conversations and background drone while providing very good audio quality. I find they work great in my office, muting most ambient noises, often better than many other competitors' earbuds that often struggle with errant voices, while the Dolby listening modes provide some excitement to music and movies. The Liberty 5's deserve a look.

TLDR: Lacks power of uprights, but oh so convenient.
IMPRESSIONS I'm very lucky to have been able to try and use many of Shark's vacuums over the past few years. From corded dirt fighting uprights, to convenient cordless stick vacuums, each one has gotten better and better with each new generation being released. I was looking forward to trying the StainForce, hoping it would continue my good experience with Shark products.
I've owned a large, upright, corded carpet cleaner for many years now. I've literally cleaned miles of carpets with it. Between fall cleanings and spring cleanings it's seen its share of use. However, when it comes to spot cleaning, it isn't the machine for that. It is large and cumbersome, not to mention it takes roughly 10 minutes to get set-up and at least 10 minutes to clean and empty the machine again for storage. It is a hassle. So much so that I never get it out anymore for spot cleaning. I rely on some carpet spray and a microfiber towel. That too is always been a mixed bag. While the carpet spray usually attacks the stain fairly well, blotting and scouring with a brush or towel just often seems to just spread the stain, making for even more work.
USE The Shark dual-formula cleaning solution is as good or better than any stain remover on the market. So far, it hasn't failed to remove any stains I've used it on. From coffee, to cola, pet stains, to random food spills, it been very effective at lifting away stains. Granted success depends upon what caused the stain and condition of your carpet or upholstery. Some particularly stubborn stains have required a couple of treatments, but the dual-formula cleaner has still managed to work its magic.
The key to it all is Shark's StainForce vac. It is so convenient to use. No more hassling with a big, bulky upright to spot clean something. Spray your stain with Shark's dual-formula spray, let it set a bit, hit it with a hard bristle brush, if needed, and then the StainForce comes in and sucks all the mess up. I love it. You no longer have a huge wet spot on your floor or couch for hours. Not to mention, you don't have all that spray and dissolved stain just sitting there drying. The StainForce gets it up and out of your fibers.
I've had particularly good luck with the StainForce in my car. Even with my self-sealing coffee cups, I always seem to find a way to spill a few drops on the car seat. Never fails. The StainForce makes for a quick and easy way to get the coffee spots off the seat & because it vacuums up a majority of the leftover moisture, the car be driven in a few minutes as opposed to an hour waiting for the seat to dry. It works great.
Once done, cleanup of the StainForce takes literally a minute. The StainForce even cleans itself! Empty the dirty solution tank of your stain, pour some clean water in the caddy, put the StainForce back in its slot & sure enough, it sucks up the clean water and rinses itself out! So awesome!
Between accidents from an adopted rescue cat, to coffee stains in the car, to clumsily eating dinner in front of the TV, the Shark StainForce has proven its worth in its limited time in this house. The Shark StainForce cordless spot cleaner is another great addition to the Shark family of household cleaners.

I don't believe so. Unlike other laptops, that have both integrated graphics for the main display and an aftermarket solution (AMD or nVidia) for an external display, this laptop appears to be use the onboard, integrated graphics at all times.

Good Afternoon, No, you don't have to hold the trigger down the whole time like your Dyson. There is a small lever just above your thumb (assuming you are right-handed) that can be used to hold the trigger down while in use.
