Best Buy destroyed my home!

I have been in contact with Best Buy regarding a flooding incident that took place in my home after paying for delivery and installation of a washer. The incident took place on January 31, 2025.
I have received the insurance adjuster's estimate andhave some startling concerns. The policy held by the delivery company is not sufficient to cover the damages in my home. Not only does the policy fail to cover the replacement value of the incurred damages, the adjuster is failing to provide reasonable compensation to cover damages so that my home can have a smooth cohesive appearance. 
As a renowned business, I am shocked to find that Best Buy would align with a company without ensuring they have reasonable insurance coverage.
I have always had steller experiences and that's what has ensured I continue to return. Unfortunately, after the way this catastrophe has been handled, my faith is wavering. When I purchased with Best Buy it was with the thought I was purchasing with a stand up company that I could trust in my home. I had no idea Best Buy would send a second rate moving company with terrible reviews that would destroy my home and leave me to suffer the consequences

Do not buy this hose. The washer spilt and leaked all over my brand new hand scraped hardwood floors after one week and ruined the floor, cabinets, trim, and pocket door in my brand new house.

Great hose, necessary with a washing machine

These kinds of hoses are absolutely necessary when buying a new washing machine, or to replace your "regular hoses" RIGHT NOW! I had one of my normal hoses burst (luckily I was at home at the time). It burst and it began squirting water into the air and all the way into my kitchen. My house would have flooded inside an hour had I not been home and quickly turned off the water and replaced the hoses. These hoses should last 20 years, but I would even replace them in 20 years just in case. They are reinforced with metal and will keep the hose from bursting, but even they won't last forever. These new hoses are an imperative. My old boss had one of his Rubber hoses burst and he came home to "Flood Damage" which cost him over $20k to fix. These are more expensive then regular hoses, but it IS the cheapest insurance you will every buy.

When buying a wsher they always recommend reinforced hoses. Pricey but short money if they ever went. easy to use
What's great about it: security-peace of mind
What's not so great: a little pricey
