My hand me down coffee maker finally died. I purchased this guy "just to hold us over" until we purchased a "nice one". Well, we are pleased to say that we will not be needing that "nice one" as we have it in this unit. It brews fast, keeps the coffee warm and is compact. The only thing that I'd like to have in it, that isn't REALLY necessary is the auto shut-off function. As we usually have coffee brewing all day and normally wouldn't use it often, it would be peace of mind for those "oh no did I leave the coffee pot on?" times as we are leaving the house.
