The cable works good the only dislike I had with the cable was no instructions or disk for drivers came with the cable. I went to the MFG web site and trying to find the drivers for this cable to be compatible just about drove me nuts. After much frustration and digging I finally downloaded the correct drivers and was able to use the cable.

Not much to say except we had a few older devices that used a serial interface that needed firmware updates, and our new computers did not have a serial interface. This cable solved those issues and the new computers could talk to the older devices and all is well in the world.

This thing works great. I have had a couple of these and they dont always work the way you want. I had been looking for one exactly like this as the last one had folded over of its own weight and snapped the internal connections and became very unreliable. This one, works great. Installed into win8.1 quickly and easily. Had to look it up in the device manager, but then it worked like magic. Thanks!
