Other GPS mounts not only leave a residue on your dash or windshield, they tend to fall off when you least expect it. This mount can be used in cars other than your own - especially great for use in rental cars. It packs easily in carry-on luggage, and stays where you put it. Out of all the options of a mount for your Garmin - this is the best aftermarket product I've found. I use it for both business and personal and change it from vehicle to vehicle often. The only product that is able to keep up with my schedule - I was so tired of the windshield suction cup mount failing while my car was parked.
