I mounted a 43-inch Sharp TV to the bracket with no problems. The back of my TV is flat and it has a square bolt pattern to mount the support braces which in turn hook onto the main mounting bracket. My 43-inch TV weighs approximately 19 pounds so TV weight is not an issue with this bracket.
i have knee high walls and then the pitch of the roof. can this be mounted at that angle and with it being extended in whatever way, still work and safely support the television? i am planning on using it for a 28" one.
I can't say for sure. The screws for mounting it are pretty big, so I suspect it would hold. But the tilt capability is only a few degrees, the TV would probably be angled down.
Supports a variety of VESA patterns Including 100 x 100, 200 x 100, 200 x 200, 300 x 200, 300 x 300,400 x 300, and up to 400 x 375. So you have to find out what pattern is on the back of your TV.
It should work fine. We have a 42" Sony we used our mount for. Our tv is light weight so even though it said up to 40 inch we were ok because of the lighter weight of our tv.
My TV is an Insignia and it is 40 inches. It fits fine and had been holding up for almost a year now. If you plan to use it for a straight on view this should work fine.
No concrete necessary, depending on the size and weight of your TV The mounting screws that come with the Rocketfish unit will fill the bill. Be sure to pre-drill starter holes and soap the screws for easy turning.
I bought this support but I want to buy new LG 42 inches TV to replace my tv with the LG 42 inches, 19 kg. Can I use my mount even if my new TV is 42 inches but it's under the maximum weight for the mount. Thanks
I used it to mount a 43" Sharp ROKU that was similar in size and under the weight requirements. It works well. The kit has many different mounting bolt sizes. I just used those that came with the TV and it's working great.
I bought a 50 inch,it's rated for smaller tv.sale person looked it up to see if it was compatable for my tv. It was it was a matter of screw holes on back of tv that would line up.Size wise you should have no problem.
The Allen wrench included in the box, packaged in plastic bags with bolts, is used to tighten the tension..simply use the Allen wrench by inserting in the bottom of the main vertical hinge. Righty tighty...lefty loosey.
The plastic knobs on the brackets let you tighten/loosen the movement of the TV. The directions were helpful describing which knob did what tilt/swivel.
