Q:
I have 2 Questions please.
1) (2 part question) The description info states that this Belkin N300 Wireless N USB Adapter "Complies with 802.11n standards, Backward compatible with 802.11a/b/g."
1a) Does that mean I can use my current Belkin 802.11g Router with this adapter without any difficulty or any other parts, etc?
1b) Since it's 'Backward compatible with 802.11a/b/g will I lose any of the 300 Mbps data transfer rates due to this situation? I don't really understand the meaning Backward compatible since I just get by understanding features and functions : )
2) Since no CD Rom is mentioned to be included in the pkg, is this simply a Plug and Play, or do I have to go to the Belkin website to download info necessary to install? Thank you!
