Yes, 2 batteries and 2 covers. For $24.00 it's the best set you can get. I have two of them for my four controllers. It keeps everything neat and organized because if you attach a 3m hook to the back it will hold your cable when you do not want to charge them.

It comes with INSIGNIA rechargeable battery packs. They work really well and the charges last a long time. I have yet had to stop playing to charge.

No....the play and charge batties have charging pins on the topp of the battery near the contacts....the insignia batteries have the charging pins on the side where they can touch the cradle

The answer is no if the battery dies during play you'll have to pull the extra battery it comes with out of the other controller or pre charge the other battery before u play I usually play for 8 to 10 hours at a time and the first betters usually holds a charge the whole time

I'm not sure that would work in that the charger comes with special backings for the batteries that come with it.

I went out and bought another Xbox controller so that if it does give out the other is charging and can be turned on and used quickly
After getting a full charge on this I can play at least 6 hours on the one controller and this is on games like Destiny and Halo

i really don't know. the Microsoft plug cable might work allowing to use the controller as a wired controller. if you have the cable i would use it only for their battery. all changing battery have warning labels. like use with specified chargers only. a modify could cause a short circuit and cause a fire. to the controller and passably to your Xbox one. don't know if warranties cover tampering.
the Insignia dual charger comes with two battery. i would have one charge most of the time. then when needed you could always swop too the other battery. just as you would do with a regular battery.

You don't need the play and charge the batteries came with a stand. if you don't have a stand then return the batteries and demand the version with the stand.

It does not state on the battery pack itself, the instructions, or the packaging. So that number is unknown, however if battery life is your concern, worry not friend! The battery life on these packs are great, they last 4 or 5 days of 4 hour gaming before needing charge, and if you charge it each night, you'll never worry, even better if you have two controllers, I often forget to charge it every day, so I'll just use one til it dies and then grab my other controller!

The unit plugs into the USB port on the left side of the console- it comes with two battery packs. To charge, you have to remove the battery packs from your controller. Charging time is about 30 minutes to an hour or so depending on how much battery power was drawn down. I like this one better than the stand- it reduces clutter and takes up minimal space.
