I’ve seen two set screws per handle which seems to be way to take out handle, as a less invasive way than removing doors, to make overall depth narrower. Is that right?Thanks for quick respond.

Yes, when the Best Buy delivered the unit, they removed the handle and door to pass through our house front door and Kitchen. Then they re- installed doors and handles in very short time. it seemed very easy steps.9 years, 4 months ago

French Door Refrigerator with Thru-the-Door Ice and Water - Stainless/Stainless look, Model # LFX25974ST have a smudge proof Stainless Steel finish although stains, fingerprints and smudges are easily wiped off with a soft,(microfiber cloth is the best), moist cloth or a soft mildly soapy cloth for more stubborn stains wiped in the direction of the grain. Only the Black Stainless Steel (also referred to as the Black Diamond Series Appliances) have a coating that makes then smudge and fingerprint proof. ^CPby
