Yes you can connect your printer to the computer. That printer has a 1) power cord which will plug to an outlet or power strip; 2) a printer cable which will connect to a USB Port (I use one of the four on the side of computer); and 3) a 2-pin phone cord which will connect to your phone jack or base phone.
If you are simply replacing your computer the only cord that will need to be moved is the USB printer cable. You will also need to INSTALL the drivers for the printer by using the disk that came with it or by visiting the website for your HP Office Jet. It will not connect correctly until installing these drivers.
