If you mean, "Will this device connect to a WiFi network," the answer is yes. The specs say "wireless networking G and N." Those are two different flavors (speeds) of WiFi connection; unless your wireless router on your home network is positively ancient (like pre-2005), you'll be fine.
Yes, it comes with wifi. Just search for your connection, enter password and connect. I would say all laptops will come wifi enabled as it has become the standard like usb connections, earphone jack, etc.
I just bought an USB CD Drive for my wife so she can use it to install stuff. But most software has a website where you can download the software to install so it makes it easier in my opinion
You can adjust the settings to do various things when you close the lid. If you set it to sleep only and not shut down you will be returned to exactly where you left off when you closed the lid. All programs will still be opened to where they were.
I don't shut it down at all. I keep it all the time on. When I am not using it, I just close the screen. When I am back I just open the lid and continue working...
I find this unit sleeps well. Depending on what operating software you have depends on how it wakes up. I have Windows 8.1 and when I wake up the computer I have to sign in. If I left off at the desktop, it opens to that and I believe if you leave an app open it will wake up to the open app after you sign in.
I would really suggest to run away from this product. It's not very good. Really slow. I counted "10 missisipi" to load facebook.com on chrome. No other apps running. My internet is FIOS and older computer runs way much faster when I ran the same test. Not a good product. To answer your question, when you put the laptop on sleep, it drains the battery way faster. I noticed you cant put the laptop on sleep, you have to fully shut it down. Otherwise the battery drains when you put it on sleep even tho you're not using it.
I highly recommend you buy a form fitting keyboard cover. It will allow you to continue using the keyboard while also protecting the keyboard from spills, fingerprints and dust. There is also a screen protector for the screen but I have not tried that for fear of losing the touch sensitivity.
Either buy a tiny vacuum with a keyboard attachment (available at office supply stores), or use canned air to,blow it out (canned air is available at Best Buy or office supply stores). I recommend the vacuum as the canned air just pushes the dust around and the vacuum actually removes it.
Windows 8.1 has the ability to change the keyboard functionality to Spanish and you'll have the digital keyboard accessible while in tablet mode. You will have to purchase or request a tablet with the additional characters though. Some keyboards have a cross function by pressing the FN key or a button near the Print screen key to adjust to the additional button. Talk to Lenovo or Geek Squad to see if they can facilitate such option for you.
