The Nikon Z 6 is compatible with a wide variety of F-mount lenses when the Mount Adapter FTZ is attached to it. Both the Nikon AF-S NIKKOR 28-300mm f/3.5 -5.6G ED VR Standard Zoom lens and the Nikon AF-S DX NIKKOR 18-300mm f/3.5-6.3G ED VR lens are designed to capture sharp and vibrant subjects near and far; however, the 18-300mm is a DX-format lens, which would introduce a 1.5 crop factor to your full-frame images, while the 28-300mm is optimized to work with an full-frame format camera like the Nikon Z 6 and will not have this crop. Even with this difference, either would make a great addition to your growing camera bag.
Is this lens a Vr or a VR11 I was told do not buy a Vr only buy a VR11 On the box it claims to be a VR but in the description it claims to be a VR11 What is iut ???
Both of these lenses would be amazing choices when paired with the Nikon D7500 Digital SLR. The AF-S DX NIKKOR 18-300mm f/3.5-6.3G ED VR will have the better range of the two and is a DX lens, meaning it will be optimized for the D7500's DX "Crop" sensor. The AF-S NIKKOR 28-300mm f/3.5-5.6G ED VR will allow for the wider open aperture at 300mm making it the faster of the two lenses. This lens was made for our FX Full Frame sensor cameras so it will be fully optimized for a wider range of cameras.
AF-S NIKKOR 28-300mm f/3.5 -5.6G ED VR Standard Zoom Lens is fully compatible with the D5100. When used on a DX format DSLR like the D5100 the maximum angle of view is 53° and the minimum angle of view is 5°20'.
This lense is compatible for Nikon D5100. However, you may look cheaper one because of the Nikon D5100 is DX frame which is cropping frame. This lense is FX frame means full frame format which can be used for FX and DX frame digital camera.
Yes it is but is not a good match for a DX camera body. You should buy the 18-200 which is designed for DX bodies specifically and archives the correct wide to telefoto range.
Because Best Buy don’t update their website. I have D810 and the lens works perfectly well. All Nikon f mount lens works on any Nikon cameras after 1959.
The Nikon AF-S NIKKOR 28-300mm f/3.5-5.6G ED VR lens is completely compatible with the Nikon D810 DSLR camera. This lens is optimized for edge to edge sharpness on both FX and DX-format cameras and has Nikon Vibration Reduction to provide approximately 3.5 stops of blur-free, handheld shooting. All of the Nikon lens that are for DX format are clearly marked. You can look for the DX mark on the bottom of the lens. If you have an FX camera do not use the lenes with the DX mark on them.
Go to sources like Nikon, DxOMark (or similar) and verify whether the lens you are interested in (under specs) is an F-mount and FX lens. The Nikon AF-S Nikkor 28-300mm f/3.5-5.6G ED VR is definitely an FX lens.
A DX lens will be indicated by the letters "DX" in the lens name, for example: AF-S DX NIKKOR 18-300mm f/3.5-5.6G ED VR. DX lenses also have "DX" on the barrel of the lens.
The AF-S NIKKOR 28-300mm f/3.5-5.6G ED VR is an FX lens and therefore does not have either of these indcations.
Probably not. But I don't understand why you need this lens for D7000. I owned a D7000 (and still do, after I purchased a D750), and see no reason to use this lens on a Nikon DX camera. If you want a zoom lens for your D7000, the Nikorr DX 18-200mm is the same and excellent choice.
Theoretically it should fit on d3200 because Nikon use F mount for all its camera after 1959. But d3200 is DX format which has cropped sensor, and this lens is for FX format (full frame sensor). Using a FX lens on DX body will get you a 1.5X view. For the price I won’t recommend using this lens on a DX body, I’d rather go for the DX format 70-300mm which is much cheaper ($399) than this one.
Yes. The Nikon D3200 DSLR camera is fully compatible with AF-S type lenses like the Nikon AF-S NIKKOR 28-300mm f/3.5 -5.6G ED VR Standard Zoom lens listed here. This versatile lens provides exceptional performance in a variety of settings and is optimized for edge-to-edge sharpness. It's a perfect addition to any growing DSLR bag.
The Nikon AF-S NIKKOR 28-300mm f/3.5-5.6G ED VR listed here does have Super Integrated Coating (SIC), which stands for an optical element in the Nikkor lens that is multilayered. This element helps prevent ghosting and flares for overall improved image capture. It also helps maintain color balance.
