My Sony DVD player seems to have seen its better days. I am getting sound on my Sony Bravio surround theatre system but no picture when I play a dvd. Through the process of elimination I have discovered that the DVD player itself no long works for this function. What is a comparable 5 disc SONY DVD player to the hdx500? I only need the DVD player, not the complete theatre system, and where is it sold?

Hello Zman, thank you for your message. Some TVs have a green RCA input instead of yellow. When connecting the RCA cable from DVD player to TV make sure to plug the yellow cable into the Video Input (TV) and then select the rigth input to display the picture. Remember that the white and red cable is for audio only. -Oscar.
