It was labeled for the original iPad. I have the New iPad (third Generation) and it fits perfectly. I also took my iPad in to the store and tried it for fit before I bought it.
It snaps into each of the four corners. Do not be afraid to use some force to pull the iPad from the iPad cover. The cover is very sturdily made and will withstand your probing.
Pull from either of the four corners to pop iPad from the iPad cover. No worries!
Use your thumb to release the corners. Press down at the two outside plastic corners of the pad cover. They will disengage from the iPad. Use your thumb again to press on the edge of plastic along the outside length of black plastic and the iPad should release from the cover.
I have done this several times and it can sometimes be a bit tricky. I usually find a corner that I can pop off of the iPad. Then I work my way around until I have one side off of the case. After that it's fairly easy to get the iPad out the rest of the way. I have seen some cases that just seem to fit tighter than others - even within the same brand / model.
I have a tarsus case with a keyboard and i need a new one and i don't see any other's. only one i see is the plain one. My son have a IPAD RETINA SO I NEED A CASE.
Often you can use the universal micro phone charger that is now everywhere, but, the USB port that the cord plugs into Does matter a lot! If you have an apple product, the adaptor that the USB port works great, otherwise, use a computer USB port.
Charger should be readily available @ BB. Most of accessories are charged with a USB type cable. U just have to make sure u have the right size connector. And if it is chargeable by USB, then u should be able to use ur iPad charger. Most, if not all USB devices are 5 volts compatible.
In your iPad settings, do you have "iPad Cover Lock/Unlock" on? That could be what's making the noise: The magnetic lock on this case is terrible and constantly locks/unlocks your device. I keep that option off.
