You will receive an over the air (OTA) update with jelly bean once it is released (should be very soon). I have played with a preview build of it and it is well worth the wait. Updating with the OTA update is effortless so don't worry about that.

Since this specific Note 10.1 is a WiFi only device, it will not require a contract or service plan.

SD compatibility 2

Its a SDHC card (Sandisk 32Gb, 6 class) . It isn´t a standard sd.
Do you think it will be recognized whitout any problem?

Yes. Especially after the OTA update that is available as soon as you hook it up to WiFi internet... (The update adds support or exFAT, which many memory cards use.)

As far as I am aware, the Note 10.1 should be completely compatible with an SDHC card, regardless of "class" and as long as its under 32GB.

using a mouse

A BB employee told me I needed the Samsung usb adapter for the mouse to work. it does, however it sticks out too far on the bottom. This creates two issues, one you can't use a cover with it, two if you use the Belkin BT keyboard/folio you have to fold the keyboard base back after removing the keyboard. One you do that the Tablet won't stay in a angle to view the tablet. Has anyone found a way of using a mouse? Samsung says they don't have any adapters or any other componets to use a mouse with the tablet.

I did buy a BT mouse by Logitech. I have to use a adapter to connect the receiver to the Tablet. When I do that the usb adapter sticks out too far, making the BT keyboard unusable, I have to remove the keyboard. The keyboard is by Belkin as I could not find one by Samsung. From what I can see the adapter connects to the bottom and really sticks out too far. I also have to use the adapter to connect the keyboard so it will charge. When the power cord is plugged in, it also sticks out too far to charge the tablet and use the tablet with keyboard or cover. Am I correct?

An adapter would be the only way.

There are some wireless mice that have a very low profile USB connection - that may be a solution.

Well, I was under the impression the 2014 edition was a newer model, so I suspect it has a faster CPU, GPU, and all that, but of course, it only has 16Gb of internal storage as apposed to 32Gb. I would be concerned by that though as you can add storage with a MicroSD card.

The 2014 model will have the 4.3 upgrade, and will have a lot of the new user options.

That's a compelling reason to upgrade, among other reasons. You might also get more features and a demonstration in-store at your local Best Buy, where all the new features can be shown to you.

Sometimes content platforms, like Apps where you can purchase books, can prohibit the copy and transfer of those books to removable memory cards. Likewise, some formats are supported by some Apps, and others are not. Samsung doesn't make that determination when the software is being created.

This would be best asked to Amazon, who creates and manages their App.

All of the Galaxy Note 10.1's have been updated to Android 4.1 Jellybean. It is just a newer version of the Android Operating System. It has many underlying and visual improvements. Even if the description states it has Ice Cream Sandwich, it has Jelly Bean now. When they were first released, the Note 10.1 had ICS on it.

Can you load movies on to the tablet like on the ipad

I am looking to see if i can load movies on the tablet like you can on the ipad. I am speaking of movies that come out on DVD. so they will be there to watch while on the plane or traveling.

Yeah, definitely you can play movies from DVD. You just need to copy movies from DVD and paste it onto tablet after connecting it to computer or MAC. Tablet shows up as USB storage device in the computer.

The device does not come with an app for voice recorder, but there are many 3rd party apps. Moreover, if you create a S note, you have the option to insert a Voice Memo. Hope this helps.

I've been trying to watch movies online but I can't without Flash..What should I use instead since Flash won't work on Androids anymore. I even tried to download flash player manually but it still won't work...

I had a similar problem with a an Adobe App I wanted to use. When I wasn't sure, I went back to the Best Buy where I purchased my tablet and had the Samsung Specialist help me. It is quirky, but It can be done. And there is still Flash for Android. You just need to google it and follow the instructions. Hope this helps.

I so very sorry for the confusion, but since the Android OS does not natively support Adobe Flash, there is no way to watch Flash content on an Android Tablet out of the box. That said, there may be 3rd party browsers on the Google Play Store that will support this functionality; however, since they are 3rd party apps, I cannot recommend the use of any one specific program.
