There are five levels of height adjustments on the machine. The suction is very powerful and raising the level reduces the suction so the machine moves a bit easier.
Hard floors pls 3 carpet settings. When I'm on the high carpet level it does give a little more resistance and I have to push harder, but it does a great job.
Lower two settings and is hard to push (even though one is the recommended setting in the manual for my type of carpet). Raised to the mid setting and is easier and still pulls most of the dirt & pet hair out of the carpet).
This vac works great on all carpet in house except new living room carpet. This vac is hard to push and is on highest setting , You have to keep it moving fast or it sucks to carpet and is hard to get moving. Any help would be appreciated as I am exhausted after vacuuming my 12x15 living room.
Sorry my friend but that is what a vacuum is supposed to do. Adjust the height as directed and afterwards look at all the bad stuff in the container. This vacuum works!
Have you turned off the multifloor brushroll? This could be making it difficult to push. Just step on the gray pedal on the left hand side to turn it off.
get your carpet clean first and then try to use the vacuum cleaner. It does not matter what vacuum cleaner you may own, if the carpet is dirty, is worthless to vacuum.
New carpet has a higher number of attached fibers, making it more difficult for air to pass from within the carpet into the vacuum itself. These fibers will wear over time which will allow a free air flow into the machine. Although difficult at the moment, you can take some comfort in knowing that the problem is only due to the Hoover's deep-cleaning nature.
try adjusting the brush setting on the base of the vacuum. when i first set up this vacuum i did not do this and had the same issue. after tampering with the switch i had zero problems. also make sure the hose is connected on the back of the vacuum.
Hi Jimbo! Your WindTunnel 3 Pro Pet has a 5 level height adjustment. We recommend to raise the height then work your way down until see fit. Hope this helps!
What is the path the dirt takes? Does everything go from the beater bar area through the hose then into the tank? Or is there a direct route from beater bar to tank? I am trying to avoid the vacuums that go through the hose first as they often get clogged.
