The PS4 has several differences:
A- it acts like the "MOVE" wand for certain games, meaning you can physically move the controller to simulate movement in the game.
B- Has a touchpad in the middle of the controller that would be used as an additonal controller feature in certain games. Ex In Fallout 4, this button allows you to cycle into Workshop mode in a camp to build out your headquarters. I am sure in different games there are more uses for this
C- I notice more variety to the vibration/shock effects
