I don't know the difference but I have the 42 inch model and the sound is amazing!! I would highly recommend it. After you get it, turn off the speakers to your TV and just use the sound bar. You will experience TV like never before.

Will it work with Bluetooth headphones?

I want to use a Bluetooth headset to watch TV with this sound bar. Will the sound bar's bluetooth stream the sound to my headset?

No, the sound bar is a Bluetooth Receiver, it doesn't transmit a Bluetooth signal. It does have a wireless base speaker but that isn't on Bluetooth.

Hey Ron,
Im sure youvhave this figured out already, but I have a response to your question. I have noticed the same thing on mine. All i do is cycle thtough the input options and circle back a second time to the one i want and it seems to do the trick. Hope you got it figured out.

You need to check what type of cable you are using. We are using the optical cable. Check the user manual and see what light combinations or that the remote is on the right cable.

You have to turn it on with the remote that comes with it also; you'll see a + or a - . + is on - is off.

We recently bought an LG TV and are running this through the TWC remote. Best Buy set this up for us and it works great.

On the other TV upstairs, we have an LG sound bar, smart tv, DVD player running through a remote purchased separately to handle all three at one time. I love this option as it keeps it simple. One remote!

The volume on my TV will go down randomly when connected to the sound dock.

The volume on my TV will randomly go down. If I wait 2 to 5 minutes it will come back up.
Sometimes simply changing the channel the volume will come back up.
Any ideas.

Answers

You may have to switch the input on the sound bar remote. Your TV can output sound from a few different modes on the sound bar. For example switching from "AUX" to "Optical In" may fix the problem. This also depends on what type of cable you are running to your television.

has anyone had issues with remote not working the soundbar?

I had to exchange sound bar twice. 1st one the sound would go up on its own (randomly) 2nd one after about a month the remote stopped working took the remote back and it worked in the store model but not on mine. 3rd one is now doing the same with remote. I read to unplug for 10 sec. and plug back it. This does work but, i find this not user friendly. I love the system but, don't want to be stuck with something that isn't going to work

I also have had issues with the remote turning on the soundbar. But it turned out to just not be in the correct mode. The mode for how you have connected the soundbar to your components seems to change and not stay on whatever the last set up was pressed. Try toggling thru the mode button until you hit on the correct set up.
