Hold the Bluetooth button until it shows up on your device.

You have to have your (ipod, ipod, etc) on Bluetooth then press the Bluetooth button (holding it down for approximately 10 seconds)on your Sony product and the screen will let you know when it is synced.

A simple click on the Bluetooth button should allow the device to connect to all surrounding equipment.

For my Android tablet I went into settings and made my it discoverable and then searched for bluetooth devices (this searches for 2 minutes), then I pressed the Bluetooth button on the speaker. After about 5 - 10 seconds the connection was made.

Once you have bluetooth available on your device, hit the pair button on the Sony, your device will find it and pair with it. I have not had a problem at all with mine connecting to my pc, my cell phone, etc.

With a good aftermarket deck just run auxiliary cable to the Sony and an inverter to power it !

It runs on 110v so you would need an inverter and then i don't think you could hook it to your factory stereo but you could Bluetooth your phone

I'd be wary of using this speaker box in an automobile for a couple of reasons. First is the difference in power supply, (AC vs DC) and the second involves product construction. I doubt that this was designed to deal with the potholes and the constant vibration that comes with daily driving. You can buy inexpensive lights that'll flash in concert with the songs you play for a lot less money than you'd expect. Adding 8 ohm speakers to a 4 ohm audio system will eventually burn out the head unit or melt wires behind the dash. Even running a power inverter constantly will tax your electrical system. This could cause damage to your alternator and/or battery.

If your radio in the van has an earphone input, or a USB, try those, especially the USB. The USB works with any IPhone 4S or older.

if your van does not have bluetooth you can get and bluetooth capable cd player from Best Buy for a very reasonable price and that would solve all of your issues and improve your existing car stereo quality

As long as you can connect your Sirius to the speaker via RCA cables or transmit it through bluetooth, you should be fine.

Yes u can use a portable jump drive.i use a 32 gig thumb drive plugged directly into the USB .it will see all folders and most types of music.

Yes. I primarily use it with a USB drive.

I plugged in a USB thumb drive with MP3s on it and it worked. It read the Thumb drive and displayed the song names on the small LED display. When playing the music, it shows the time of song. I plugged in a portable HD. It did not work. It said not supported. There may be still a way to do it. Maybe a download onto HD. But I am not sure.

If you have an audio out .. be it an 1/8 inch headphone port or Bluetooth support or even auxiliary cable out then YES . And it would WAY out perform any speaker bar !

Let's see. You could try a male 3.5mm split into two female 3.5mm. Then connect a 3.5mm aux to rca into each of those female ends and into each RCA port of your speakers.

Its just off the top of my head, and I bet there are easier ways to do this, and there's only two adapters/splits being used:

3.5mm male to 2 3.5mm female
and

2 of each: 3.5mm male to RCA males.

I used those two recommendations as examples on how they look like.

Since there is no OUT port on the speakers, there is no way to really connect them together on their own (like while on bluetooth), although that would've been pretty awesome.
