Simple but functional

When I first unboxed this coffee maker, I thought it seemed "cheap". After trying it however, I realized that for a simple coffee maker it had some great functional features such as the cord being able to hide in the side, the ability to pause while brewing, a built in filter (not sure if I will use but nice feature), and best of all - it breaks down so that pretty much everything but the base can go into the dishwasher. You can also set the timer to brew later - nice to wake up to a cup of coffee all ready in the morning. This is a great, simple yet practical coffee maker.

Solid and versatile

This Brother printer is a very heavy machine at almost 50 pounds. But that does make it seem like it will be durable and hold up to lots of printing. The setup and installation was easy. Each of the four toner cartridges had protective coverings that had to be removed and reinserted, but I'm sure this protected it during shipping. I really like that this can be Wireless or plugged in using a USB port (which I prefer).
The paper tray holds more paper than my other 2 printers (I think 250 sheets), which is convenient.
This is a color printer and copier and also has a flatbed scanner.
I really like the Brother iPrint & Scan software and Paperport which comes with it on the installation disk. I use both constantly.
The print quality is adequate for everyday printing. It will be interesting to see how long the toner cartridges last compared to ink cartridges. It is a very fast printer, which is nice for high volume printing. I probably won't use it for printing photos, but it's perfect for daily office needs.
Other advantages include quietness and duplex printing.

Great blender and juicer... even if loud

The NutriBullet Blender and Juicer Combo is great. The first thing I noticed was how heavy the base was and that it stays in place with the suction cups on the bottom so there is no need to hold it while in use.
I really like the variable speeds, especially the Extract button. I put all my juicing ingredients in, along with ice and water, hit the Extract button and let it do it's thing. I did have to stop the process (easily by hitting the power button), because it was done blending before it stopped automatically. The blender seems to be very powerful, more than my "old" standard blender.
It's nice that it comes with some recipes - particularly the soup ones. I liked some of the spices suggested in the smoothies as well.
I was concerned about have a plastic pitcher for the blending part, which is not as thick as the juicer cups, but it seems sturdy and time will tell if it holds up. It spots a little bit from washing, but nothing major. It is nice to have the top center cap to add ingredients or stir without taking off the entire lid.
Everything cleans up easily. I just rinse and stick in the dishwasher. But hand washing would be very fast and easy.
The only negative, which might be an issue with some people, is how loud it is. My husband is usually sleeping when I juice in the mornings... not any more. But the trade-offs are worth it.

Clever Design

The Ninja food oven is a very flexible appliance. I like that it can bake, toast and air cook. The first thing I cooked were some nachos with cheese using the Air Roast setting. It took only 2 minutes and the nachos were nice and toasted and the cheese melted. Better than a microwave which just melts the cheese. I also cooked some seasoned potato slices and they were wonderful.
The tray and the basket are very easy to clean. When I was trying to fit both of them in at the same time (which can fit), a few flakes of the coating chipped off of the tray. I'm hoping the tray holds up for a while.
One of the most innovative features is the entire oven flips up on the counter when not in use - saving horizontal counter space, and making it easy to clean underneath.
The unit does get very hot, but seems to cool down rapidly. It also preheats quickly.
I will use this oven quite a bit for pizza, meat, vegetable and snacks.

Could be better, but worked really well

We got the booster because we live in a rural area and since getting a new smart phone, the reception on it has been terrible with dropped calls and poor data connection.
The packaging and instructions for the booster are terrific - some of the best I've seen. All the components were extremely well labeled and the instructions clear and concise. Even the cable bags had illustrated labels telling us exactly how to connect the inside antenna to the booster to the outside antenna.
What did not make sense however, was that it instructed you to use the 30' cable between the inside antenna and the booster, which are in the same room, and only gives you a 15' cable from the window connector to the outside antenna. This might be okay IF the instructions did not say "the outside antenna must be at least 50 feet horizontal or 20 feet vertical from the inside antenna". There is not enough cable to get it mounted in the ideal position on top of the roof with only the 15' section out the window. We ended up putting the outside antenna on a pole until we can get a longer coax cable to mount to our roof.
Even though it is not in the best position, we are still very pleased at how well it works. Prior to installation, I would have one bar of strength on my phone and the data sometimes dropped to 3G. Since the installation, the strength is usually at 3 bars, occasionally goes to 4 and the data is at 4G-LTE most of the time. The signal also seems to be boosted in more than just my office where we installed it.
Finding the optimal position by experimenting with various positions and tweaking the antenna takes a lot of time and definitely requires two people. But we are pleased with the results and anticipate they will only get better as we find the best place to mount the outside antenna.

I downloaded the Terk signal finder, which is a great app, and found two towers over 50 miles from us. We live in a very remote area and down in a valley. Even the I could line up my phone with the signal from the towers, the antenna would not find ANY signal. We tried everything - changing positions in all directions. Absolutely no signal. No Channels. I was hoping this antenna would be different (we've tried others), but I think it's just impossible to get any reception where we live. I do like the simple instructions and the signal finder app!

Great, unique printer

The Epson EcoTank printer was very easy to install, with clear well-written instructions. The display is well lit and readable. It's a very different way to fill ink chambers - with bottles of ink, rather than cartridges, but it was very easy to do and clean. There was not a drop of ink spilled filling up the four reservoirs. It claims to save money on ink - won't know that for a while, but seems logical.
I really like that this printer can run on wireless or with a USB cable. We like to conserve our network since we have poor internet.
One of the best features is the paper loading, which is quick and simple in the back of the printer, rather than having to open a tray. Very smart design.
The print quality is very good. I compared it to an HP printer we have and it has the same crisp, clean printing on words and good quality on photos.

Great massage but awkward

The Hypersphere massage ball has a great vibrating mechanism with three different speeds and seems to be extremely durable of high quality materials.
When placed on the body, it feels like it does a good job of providing a deep massage, but because of the shape it is very difficult to hold and move, especially on the highest speed. I'm not sure if it's meant to hold in one place and move around or roll around like a ball, but either way is not comfortable. The amount of surface area in contact with the skin is very small (only the tip of the sphere).
This would be a wonderful device if the design would allow for a less awkward way of applying the massage. That being said, my husband still loves it.

Great sound

These JVC headphones have great sound. The reason I did not give it 5 stars is because my ears do hurt slightly after wearing them about 30-60 minutes. It's probably a good reminder to take them off and take a break so not necessarily bad. The controls work well but I wish they were positioned a little lower on the wire. Overall, a good headset for listening to music on my phone and to use on my computer for videos or calls.

Some Great Features

The Dyson desk light has some great features. It is very easy to move it to the optimal place since it swivels and goes up and down effortlessly.
The other great features include the sensor for turning on and off due to inactivity, the automatic daylight, study and relax modes, and the ability to adjust the brightness and the warmth manually.
I also like that you can control the light either manually or with the app.
This desk light is perfect for crafting and doing other close up work. It was easy to install and seems to be good quality.
It would have earned five stars had it been able to go up higher for when I use my standing desk, and if the light head could tilt to reduce glare.
I definitely recommend this lamp for anyone who needs to control their desktop or work space lighting.

That would be a setting on you computer - under the Sound setting. When you plug in the the earphone jack, it should play back in your headset. If you want to hear it through your speakers, unplug the earphone jack (leave the microphone jack plugged in to record).
