Mostly Great Microwave

The Panasonic microwave is great - probably the best we've owned. The inside of this unit is huge - even though the outside is almost the same dimension as our old one. This is perfect for thawing out large meat portions or cooking things that need to be spread out such as bacon.
The sensor cooking really works. I put in a small potato and used #8 on the menu and it came out perfectly baked. I've also used it on reheating items. I sometimes forget about the sensor cooking and just enter time - the sensor cooking works better than entering time. The only negative about the sensor cooking is that you have to look at the menu label on the inside of the microwave. This would be acceptable, and the print is large enough, but I would have preferred for the label to be at the top of the inside panel, rather than the bottom. If it was mounted over a stove it would be good, but ours is on a counter.
Foods seem to cook more evenly in this microwave - with no edges getting done quicker. It's perfect for heating coffee and leftovers.
The only negative is the brushed stainless finish, particularly on the "open door button" seems to get smudged with fingerprints easily. A minor inconvenience for such a great microwave!

More than enough!

I am using this computer for creating videos and using other graphic software, rather than gaming. It is very fast and has some additional features my old computer did not have including built-in Bluetooth for uploading pictures from my phone directly to the computer.
It's a very nice looking computer with the see-through side and the adjustable lighting - and has easy access to the internal parts.
The 16GB of RAM, i7 processor and 2TB hard drive is more than adequate for running Camtasia, Bluebeam, PrintShop and all the other graphic heavy programs. It has plenty of ports - enough for supporting the Oculus VR which we will be purchasing shortly for use with this computer.
The setup with Windows 10 was easy. I like the Omen Command Center (I don't like the name Omen though) which has some system specs like memory usage and lets you change the lighting of the computer. So far, the computer has been reliable, fast and powerful.
The keyboard and mouse are basic, but I had no problem setting up Sharemouse so I can use my preferred mouse and keyboard between two computers.
This computer has great performance and will be suitable for a wide variety of uses.

The software sets it apart

I have used other WD external drives for backing up my computer. This small (in size) portable drive comes with much improved backup software. It even recognized my WD Book that was connected, so I can see the last backup and the capacity left on both drives with one click. I use the Passport Ultra for my pictures and the Book for all my other files. They are quiet and the backups seem intact when I check them.

Has potential but a few quirks

This is the first robot vacuum I have used. I have to say that I really do like the vacuum running around the house on it's own sucking up dog hair and dirt - it has reduced the amount of time I have to vacuum using the standard upright.
I like the vacuum wand that is attached to the charging base. This is very convenient for vacuuming the couches and works great on dog hair.
I would give it a higher rating, but the phone app does not work on my Pixel phone. I called customer service and when I was disconnected, I had to call back (they can't call you back). After getting through to a second agent, he was unable to help me fix the connection problem, so he said that he would escalate it and that I would get a call back within 24 hours. I still have NOT received a phone call (it's been 2 days).
I am able to run the vacuum without the app (thank goodness) by just touching the Clean button on the unit. It seems to do a good job of vacuuming - the bin was totally full (and it's very easy to empty).
The second down side is that when I do run it, it manages to make it into my living room and kitchen/dining area, and it made it to one of my bathrooms once. It has not ventured down the hallway to my other rooms - so really it is only vacuuming half my house.
If I could get the app working and if it learns to go down the hall - it would be closer to a five star rating.

The best laptop I've used

The HP Spectre is a great laptop. The sleek design has a brushed type metal body with hinges that allow the laptop to be used as a tablet - which is perfect for using with the stylus that is included. It seems to be resistant to fingerprints.
The keyboard has a fingerprint sensor for quick access to unlock the laptop, a responsive and large touch pad, and is back-lit - wonderful for working in the evening while watching TV.
The setup was easy - and fun with Cortona giving step by step directions on the new Windows 10. I linked it with my Android phone using Microsoft Launcher. I was skeptical at first, but have to admit I like the functionality on my phone better than the original setup.
This laptop is fast, has a beautiful display, is lightweight, has plenty of storage space and all the needed ports - USB, micro SD, headset jack, and a small switch to shut off the camera lens.
This is definitely one of the best laptops I've used.

Easy setup and fun colors

This was the first time I've used colored and dimmable LED lights. The Quick Setup Guide was easy to follow (even though print could have been larger) and the Hub connected to the router very easily.
Even though it said that two bulbs come already paired, I had to manually add them in order for the app to work - but that was simple to do by scanning the barcode on the bulb.
The color selection is almost unlimited and it's nice for creating various atmospheres. I put one in the living room, one in my office and one in the bedroom. Each bulb can be controlled with the app separately and each can have multiple schedules to come on and go off automatically - nice feature.
It would be really nice if there was also a remote control for the bulbs since my husband stays up later than I do and he doesn't have a smart phone.
Overall, these are great LED's and since we are converting all the lights in our home to LED - this will be the way to go so we can set schedules and create mood lighting easily.

Fast, sleek and functional

This HP Chromebook is terrific!. It has a sleek design with a nice finish that doesn't show fingerprints. All the buttons and slots are conveniently located on each side (headphone, SD card, power button, volume, ports). I like having the volume button on the side. The Chromebook was super easy to set up and had a good step-by-step tour. You sign in with your Google email - and it brings over all your bookmarks and apps on the Chrome browser. The touch pad is sensitive - but not overly so. I find that it is easier to work in a Chrome/Google environment than a Windows/Edge environment. I thought I would miss some of the Microsoft and Windows functionality, but most everything is accessible online. It seems like such a "clean" setup. I downloaded my favorite apps and put them on the "shelf" for easy access.
The best features are in the screen - it is a touch screen and the screen flips over completely (they call it 360) so you can quickly work on it like a tablet.
While this won't take the place of my Windows Desktop for work, it will be used for travelling and for when I don't want to be at my desk. It's perfect for checking email, watching movies, searching the internet and working with online apps. It has plenty of speed with the i3 processor and plenty of space since most functions are web-based.

Fun and Functional

The Michael Kors Smartwatch is beautiful and I like how you can change the watch face from your phone. That was only after I spent about an hour figuring out exactly how to pair the phone with the watch (which took two times) and download apps on the watch. The instructions that come with the watch have just two steps - 1) charge the watch and 2) download the app and pair. Then you are supposed to follow instructions on the watch. While it was easy enough to do - it did not sync properly the first time so I uninstalled and started over. The second time it worked but in order for some of the apps to work, I had to install them on the watch even though they were on the phone. Figuring out how to use the watch (slide right, left, up, down - use the buttons on the side) took some time. I still have yet to know what "looks" are - will have to Google that.
My husband had to take out two links - the watch is very comfortable (and waterproof).
But... after getting things set up and using the watch for over a week, I must say it is very convenient and fun to have. I got it to better monitor my fitness and sleep (and to motivate me). I like the sleep app (does not come with it but pairs with one I downloaded on my phone) and the Fit program which monitors activity including steps and heart rate. It helps to have a goal and to be able to see it quickly and easily.
I also like the notifications on the phone for emails and texts, which will be quite helpful when in meetings or attending conferences - it is less distracting to people around you to look at a watch rather than be on your phone.
It has fun features like a new quote each day, and with Google Assistance (OK Google) you can ask it or tell it to do just about anything from send a text to get directions.
It has a microphone, but not speakers so getting use to the interaction with your phone takes time. The learning curve for the watch is big, and the online Michael Kor video tutorials are too simplistic. But there are more and more user videos that are helpful and the more I use the watch, the more I like the convenience and functionality of it.

So many great features

This shaver is very well designed, comfortable and has some really smart features. The first is the display area which shows the percentage of the battery charge and flashes orange when it is low. It can be locked for traveling so the shaver doesn't accidentally get turned on, and comes with a very nice travel case. There are 3 speeds to select from for comfort. The display also reminds you to clean it, which is very easy to do. The shaving head pulls apart to clean the inside, and the entire unit is waterproof so can be cleaned under running water. It also comes with a trimmer which is easy to snap on and very convenient. Beside the great features, this shaver works great and provides a close shave.

Quality images - just not easy to mount

The GoPro is an extremely durable camera and the images and videos are high quality. The wide angle lens captures great views. The mobile app syncs well and you can not only view your media, but make fun little videos with the built in "QuikStory" templates that have different layouts and music with them. My biggest complaint about the GoPro is that, unless you have a helmet, it is VERY difficult to mount or even hold. I tried creating a necklace, a belt and even tried putting it on a hat for recording some rides at Disney World. It was impossible to do. It would only take adding a metal ring on the top or on the sides, or a mounting plate on the back, to make using the camera more practical. If they would design a more flexible mounting system.... would be used a lot more.

Does your voice playback through the headset? I always have one earphone off so I can hear myself so I'm not too loud and that's how my last headset broke
That would be a setting on you computer - under the Sound setting. When you plug in the the earphone jack, it should play back in your headset. If you want to hear it through your speakers, unplug the earphone jack (leave the microphone jack plugged in to record).
