Perfect size - simple to use

The Bellow Pro air fryer is the perfect size for 1-2 people. It is a very simple device to use and would be great for older people who are intimidated by digital technology. You adjust the temperature using a manual knob that rotates (although I found you can keep it at about 400 degrees for everything). Then you turn the timer knob to the desired length of time. The basket size is great for cooking 2-3 chicken breasts, or vegetables along with one chicken breast. The first thing I cooked was red potatoes, seasoned in olive oil, crushed red pepper and season salt. I air fried them at 400 degrees for about 17 minutes and they were perfect. The cleanup is quick and easy using soapy water. The only negative thing is the tray that goes in the basket has a raised strip of metal used for lifting the tray - this is sharp. It would be better to have just a hole to pull it up with. Overall though, this air fryer is a great size for 1-2 people and doesn't take up as much counter room as larger air fryers.

Good every day coffee maker

This Braun coffee maker has a lot of great features. You can easily brew multiple sizes, from a full pot, down to a single cup. The coffee maker makes selecting the correct coffee ground amount, the amount of water and the desired size very easy to allow for these versatile sizes. The water reservoir for example shows ounces and also has pictures of what water level is needed for a full pot versus all the other sizes. You can however, fill the water to the highest level, and it will only use how much is needed for the size you select on the selector knob. The selector knob has easy to read visuals and oz.'s all the way from a full pot down to a 5 oz. individual cup. You can also select a brew strength or even iced coffee. Another nice feature is the ability to stop the flow (drip stop lever) of liquid, so you can pour a cup of coffee before it is done brewing. Although the brewing time, even on bold brew, seems to be fairly quick. You can use the coffee make to heat water only, and can even set the temperature.
I deducted one star because I found it difficult at first to set the clock and the autorun (a nice feature though to have coffee be ready when you get up in the morning). The instructions were not clear and you have to hold the clock button for a few seconds to set the time. You also have to make sure the Autorun button stays on if you are using that feature. I selected it at night and the Autorun lit up, but went off right of way. Once you play with the clock and Autorun, and get used to it, it is okay. The other negative, is the scoop that comes with it. While the measurements are awesome - it comes with a large and small side that show you how much coffee to use for each level - I really wish there was a place on the coffee maker to hang the scoop!
Overall, a great every day coffee maker that is versatile and functional.

Solid 4+ Wandvac

The Shark Wandvac came well packaged - all the components were protected from shipping damage. The Quick Start guide was well written, with clear illustrations. One of the first things I noticed about the wand, was the great design. I like how it comes with a charging base, making it very easy to pull the unit on and off for quick cleanup. It turns from a standard upright vacuum into a hand vacuum or into a hand-held wand, very easily by pulling up on release tabs. It's also extremely easy to empty the dust cup and access the filter. The charging base holds the crevice tool that comes with the wand, but I couldn't find a place to store the brush attachment that came with it. I use the wand for quick cleanups on both my kitchen tile and on my living room carpet. It does an adequate job on both surfaces without adjusting anything on the wand. I deducted one star because the suction, while good for most things like grass, lint, dead flies, crumbs, doesn't seem to be strong enough sometimes unless I go over the same area 2-3 times. It is still a very convenient vacuum for the kitchen, and one of the best features is how lightweight and easily it moves around. I also like how it turns into a wand (perfect for the couch), with one simple release. Overall, a solid vacuum wand.

Great Health Monitor and Stylish Watch

The Galaxy Watch5 is a pretty amazing watch. It is designed around complete wellness and monitors everything from steps, exercise, food, water, sleep, heart rate, stress, body composition, blood oxygen and even stress level. The charger is a round charging disk so it's easy to distinguish from all the other chargers in the house. Once charged, it stays charged for about 2 days. I had some issues initially with some of the readings not being accurate, such as oxygen saturation, but I've found that if I wear it a little tighter (but still comfortable), the readings are more accurate. I was going to deduct one star rating because the ECG monitor does not work and I can't get my earbuds to pair with it, but there are so many other features that I decided it's not worth a one star deduction.
Besides health related apps, you can also perform daily functions like check email, text, look up contacts, check the news, weather... all pretty amazing for a watch. Plus you can change the watch faces by selecting from a large amount of both digital and analog styles.
I'm still learning about all the features available, but use it daily for my health monitoring and to see text and phone call notifications. An extremely good quality watch that is comfortable too.

Needs some improvements but overall adequate

These JVC wireless earbuds come in a great hard case and include many extra sets of ear pads. It would be nice however, to have the case a little larger so that the extra pads could be stored along with the earbuds. The pairing to both my computer and my cell phone was quick and easy. The case charges with a C type cord and charges very quickly. The sound quality is very good - better than I had anticipated. The balance is good, there are no "tinny" sounds, and no distortion with higher volume. The controls are simple (some on each ear piece) and are responsive to the touch. I thought the over the ear style would be better than my "loose" earbuds for staying on my ears, and they are. I wear glasses but they are comfortable with or without my glasses on. I did notice after a couple of hours, my ears seemed slightly irritated but that is true with most and is a good reminder for me to take a break. I am used to noise cancelling earbuds, which blot out any outside noises. With these, outside noises can be heard so I found that a little distracting at first. Overall, these are good earbuds that are wireless, light weight, easy to use.

High Quality and Mesmerizing

This sand table comes extremely well packaged. Everything, including the glass cover, is well protected. It is great quality and seems very high-end (spa quality). The set up is very easy, you put the sand and the steel ball inside, turn it on, and it pretty much does the rest. The power cord is nice and long. It has controls on the base of the unit, but the phone app is wonderful - you can select speed, brightness, color, and patterns. It's amazing how enjoyable watching the steel ball create patterns is - very calming. I have the sand table sitting on my desk next to my computer and it seems to reduce the stress of working on a screen constantly, and is relaxing just to have nearby. It's also a great conversation piece to display, and is actually more of an "art" piece. The sand table is aesthetically beautiful and can truly have an impact on your mood. It helps your mind get clear of distractions and "escape" the normal every day stressors that can bring you down or drain your energy.

Great All Purpose Kitchen Appliance

The Ninja Grill came very well packaged, and includes a grill, a basket, and a great recipe/instruction book. When you first turn it on, the fan noise is definitely noticeable, but not obnoxious. You can adjust the time and temperature during preheat if using manually, but can also use the "smart" technology and the presets to make things easier. It's fairly simple to use and will actually help you along the way. After preheating it will tell you to "add food". Once you add the food, it will automatically start once the cover is shut. The first thing I grilled were pork chops, but because they were slightly frozen, and less than 1", I didn't use the thermometer. I set the time for 15 minutes. I wasn't sure if I was supposed to flip the meat, but after about 8 minutes, a message came on to "flip". I then read through the recipe book and they have great charts including one that shows cooking time, temp, and when to flip. The recipes, including some for sauces are great.
It did not smoke at all, but the heat did set off my smoke alarm (mine is sensitive and close to the unit). Cleanup of the grill and the drip plate were very easy.
The second item I grilled were steaks and asparagus, following the instructions exactly from the book. It was wonderful to set the rareness, and let the grill do the rest for cooking time. The steak and asparagus were perfect.
We've also used it for simple things like corn dogs, fries, etc. It can bake, air fry, roast, grill - an all purpose appliance for the kitchen!
The only two negatives are: I wish the grill and the basket fit inside the unit for storage and no matter how careful I am to use silicone tongs and spatulas, there are some scratches on the basket and I'm hoping it won't be an issue in the future.

Quiet, compact, everyday computer

This Acer desktop is very compact. I like that I can have it sitting on top of my desk. For a small computer, it has plenty of ports - 6 USB, HDMI, VGA, ethernet and front and back audio jacks. I like that it comes with a wired keyboard and mouse so there is no interference from other devices and you don't have to worry about batteries. The keyboard, which is also compact, still has a 10-key pad which is impressive and something I use frequently. This computer has plenty of RAM (8GB) and Hard Drive space (256GB) to be an every day use, basic computer, especially since many applications are online. It even has a DVD drive, which is great for movies. It comes with Windows 11 and very little bloatware.
This is by far the quietest computer I've ever owned. I had to turn off my nearby radio to hear the faintest sound. It has a nice sleek, modern design. For the price point, I can't imagine too many other desktop computers comparing with this quality, good processing speed, dependability and overall package.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Tricky but fun

This drone came in packaging that could have been a little stronger. One corner was damaged, including the Styrofoam holder, but the drone itself and the components did not appear to be damaged. It comes with Extra blades and a screwdriver which is convenient. The instructions were easy to follow. The screws that hold in the blade protectors are very small so make sure you don't drop them. It also comes with 3 drone batteries and two chargers to extend flight time. The battery holder on the drone is very cheaply made and difficult to get back in without fumbling with the wires. The specifications reveal the height limit (80 meters), but not radius, speed or weight.
Being a first time drone flier, I found it a bit tricky to fly. It is easy to pair and calibrate however. It's also nice that you can fly it with the remote or with the app.
The camera works great and you can view the camera even if using the remote to control the flight. Considering how many times I have crashed, it's holding up very well. Great drone for first time fliers.

Good Projector Overall

The Yaber projector came packaged in an impressive carrying case that doubles as a backpack. The entire unit is very light and while mostly made of plastic, seems fairly durable for its purpose. It comes with a remote, "screen", HDMI and AV cables, and the power cables, as well as a small cleaning kit and lens cloth.
I'm embarrassed to say the only issue I had hooking it up and running the projector, was not realizing that it had a lens cap. In my defense, the instruction book has no mention of a lens cap or the need to remove it, it is a very flat mesh like cap, and there was some light shining through the it. All other lens caps I've used are solid. After I got past that small hurdle, the picture quality was great and very easy to adjust both the focus and the skew.
I used the projector with my computer (laptop), which is the device I will use most with the projector. I had issues trying to hook it up with my smart phone, but I think it's an issue with my Android phone, not the projector. Whether projecting data (spreadsheet) or a movie, the resolution is extremely good. The quality actually depends more on the screen you use - the flatter the better. The projected image is excellent.
The reasons I deducted one star on the projector rating include:
- The "screen" that comes with it is just a folded piece of plastic. It has no grommets to hang it and when you do unfold it, there are too many creases to be useful. I would recommend somehow rolling the screen if they are going to provide one. I used a white sheet and that worked well.
- No batteries for the remote
- The power cord is short. Considering where you would normally use a projector, a longer cord would be nice.
- There is some fan noise.

None of these would prevent me from purchasing this projector - it does have projection resolution, is very portable in a nice case, has various methods of connecting devices, and does what it is supposed to do. Overall a very good projector.

That would be a setting on you computer - under the Sound setting. When you plug in the the earphone jack, it should play back in your headset. If you want to hear it through your speakers, unplug the earphone jack (leave the microphone jack plugged in to record).
