It does it all!

This Ecovacs Deebot Robot Vacuum is amazing. It came very well packaged to prevent any damage in shipping. There was very little assembly needed and the instruction card was very easy to follow. The phone app is easy to use and it's great to be able to start the Deebot with just a touch of the button. The floor plan during the mapping of the house is shown on the app. The vacuum finds its way back to the charging station on its own. The amazing part of the process is that it navigates over and cleans my rugs, which have various heights. It has not gotten stuck on anything yet and does not eat any cords or shoelaces. It did eat a long twist-tie that was left on the floor - but the app told me there was something on the main brush so I just had to easily remove it, and it proceeded to finish cleaning. It is very quiet also - in fact you can't even hear it when it's in some of the rooms. It's also very efficient - picking up all the debris (I checked carefully the first time I used it). One of the best features of the Deebot is the self emptying - it will dock itself and empty the contents into the canister on the charging station. You can also mop your floors with the washable mopping pad. This vacuum has definitely saved me time and has extremely good suction and mapping.

Not as good as I would have wanted

The ingredients in these eardrops seem to be a great combination of oils - all natural. I really wanted these to help with dry, itchy ears as well as inflammation due to eczema. Being an oil, it is very thick and when I put the drops into my ear, it plugs my ear and feels almost like swimmers ear. I ended up having to get most of it back out since it didn't unplug on its own. The oiliness is also an issue with wearing ear buds or putting anything against the ear (pillow) until it absorbs completely, which takes a while. I could tolerate the oiliness if the drops relieved any of my symptoms, but they actually made all my symptoms worse. One ear got really inflamed and perhaps infected. I'm thinking it may be because moisture got trapped in the ear canal. After trying a few times, I had to discontinue using them. Now, even though it didn't work for me, it could be because I have hyper sensitive skin and struggle with dermatological issues. This is one of those products that each person needs to try individually.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Very Basic but Very Hi-Res DVD Player

This Panasonic Blu-Ray DVD Player is very basic - comes with the unit, power cord, and the remote control (includes batteries). It has one HDMI port to connect to the TV, one LAN port to connect to the internet, and one USB port to do updates if it's not connected to the internet. The setup up is basically plugging it into the electrical outlet, connecting the TV to the HDMI port, and making sure the proper input is selected.
I did not realize that this particular device was LAN only - can not be connected via Wi-Fi. This means that if connecting a LAN cable is not an option, updates have to be done through a USB flash drive, which is simple enough, but not convenient. It also means that some features on some Blu-Ray movies may not play. The movie will still play however, without connection to the internet.
The overwhelming feature about this player is the 4K picture quality that comes through. The image quality is breathtaking. I would definitely recommend this Blu-Ray DVD player. I deducted one star only because I think the box and manual should indicate the it is NOT Wi-Fi enabled, or allow Wi-Fi for performing updates only.
Overall, it does the job it was designed for and is nice to see some simple, functional technology.

Powerful trimmer

This Greenworks trimmer came well packaged with easy to follow instructions for assembly. All the parts are high quality and do not seem flimsy in any way. The shaft, the line guard, and the handle were easy to install. The battery is fairly large and powerful, and because of this the entire unit is somewhat heavy. One of the best features, however, is the shoulder strap that attaches to the shaft with a clip that swivels. This relieves most of the weight during use. It takes some time to adjust the handle and shoulder strap clip to be at the most optimal and comfortable position, but is worth taking the time. The trimmer is quite powerful and also takes some time to get used to. I actually cut a few places too low - right down to dirt - before getting the hang of using it consistently. I used it for cutting grass under trees and also for edging. It's fairly quiet for a powerful machine. The battery lasts longer than my arm (before I get tired). The battery charger is easy to see across the room - the lights are large. Overall, this powerful trimmer does the job very efficiently.

Great printer - easy to fill ink

The HP Smart Tank printer came very well packaged. I like that it had a handle on the plastic inside the box so it was easy to pull out. The instructions were clear and easy to follow. I was impressed with how easy the ink was to fill - I was worried about it being messy, but not even a drop of ink spilled anywhere. I'm hoping the ink lasts The system to fill the tanks is ingenious. The print heads were also fairly easy to install, although you have to remember to pull down the blue latch once you load them. The setup with the mobile app was straight forward. It never did the alignment properly the first time, and the app did not give an option to redo the alignment, only to say that it was already done. Printing from my cell phone was great. When I went to print from my desktop computer, it would freeze whatever program I was using when I selected the HP Smart Tank printer. I had to download the HP Smart app to my computer. The HP Smart app does have some great features such as printables but I wish you could select any file from one button - rather that having to choose a document button that is separate from a photo button.
The print quality is very good for both daily printing and even some color photo printing.
I wish the display screen was easier to read or could pivot up - you have to be right over it to read it. Although the copy buttons do light up so you can easily see them.
Overall, after getting past a few annoyances, this printer is a great everyday printer to use and has become my main office printer.

Extremely comfortable - superb sound!

This headset is lightweight, has wonderful spongy earpieces that are extremely comfortable, and has superb sound quality. I really like the control features - the on/off switch is also used to pair with blue tooth, there is a switch to select the noise cancellation setting, and the microphone can be flipped up to mute audio. Another well designed feature is the small bump on the volume control that lets you know you found the middle of it (while its on your head) so you can go up or down easily. The charging port is very convenient to slip the headset on and off of. The only negative about the charging station is that it flashes blue initially, which is disturbing when in the same room as I'm sleeping even though it's across the room.
The software on the desktop was easy to download and install, but I wish they had a mobile app for controls. I really wanted to give this headset 5 stars because it is by far the most comfortable ones I've owned, but the one drawback is they do not stay on my head if I bend over or am walking around the house with them. They seem to slip on my hair and fall off. If I'm sitting at my office desk - no problem. Also, I did hear some interruptions while using them in blue tooth mode on my phone. For a computer application - definitely 5 stars. For mobile use, only 4.

A great OTC solution

The GoPrime hearing aids come very well packaged, with the hearing aids in a hard charging case, a wall plug, a charging cord, and accessories including various size "domes" to fit to your ear. I tried the aids with the medium dome first, which it came with, but it seemed like they might fall out - felt loose. Once I changed to the smaller domes, the fit was much better. The instruction book is well laid out, although it is written for two different models - it would be better if it was ONLY for the model purchased. The hearing aids are very comfortable and light weight - my ears never got sore wearing them. Controlling the volume and the program mode takes some patience, but mostly because you want to experiment with what sounds the best. Although the adjustment button is very small, it is easy to control. I found quite a bit of difference between the normal and high/low frequency settings. On the normal setting, there was not as much amplification of my own voice, which was good. It picks up sounds and conversations very well and I only get whistling when putting them in initially. For an over-the-counter, affordable (compared to prescription aids) hearing aid - this is a great solution.

Great system but had issues

The SimpliSafe home security system comes well packaged, with all the boxes labeled for what they are. The set up has to be done with the phone app, which was an easy step-by-step process, but the first glitch I came upon was the app update. It just kept spinning and spinning. After about 2 hours, and logging back into the software a couple of times, I was able to continue the setup of each component. The system comes with an indoor camera, outdoor camera, panic button, door and window sensors, a motion sensor and a glass breakage sensor, as well as a keypad and the base.
The indoor camera, door sensors and the glass break sensor were very easy to install using the keypad, which told you exactly what to do. It does take quite a bit of time installing all of the components. Two of the door sensors did not stay up, even though I used alcohol to clean the space before mounting. I ended up having to screw them to the door, which was difficult since they are so close to the edge of the door.
When it came to installing the outdoor camera, the process of adding the camera was easy, however trying to watch a live view on the camera is hit or miss. Sometimes there is a black screen and no live view. Sometimes I get an error that says "real time information is temporarily unavailable". While a live view is nice, it would be better to see recorded videos without having to subscribe to a monthly service. The camera quality is excellent. There is a notification that says "camera motion detected", but it's not linked to the recorded video. I accidentally triggered the back door alarm and was surprised that the volume wasn't louder. Some of the glitches may have to do with my poor internet, but some seem to be app related. Overall, I would recommend this system - probably works extremely well in a more urban setting.

Great printer - difficult setup

The HP OfficeJet Pro 8034e printer came very well packaged. It was wrapped in a plastic bag that had a handle so the entire printer could be easily removed from the box. This was SO helpful. The printer itself seems to be fairly good quality (for mostly plastic components). The ink cartridges were also well designed to open and install easily. In order to setup this printer, you have to go to a website and install the HP Smart software. There is no way just to go to Wi-Fi or network settings on the printer directly (without learning secret bypasses). I followed instructions for the 123.hp.com app on my phone and it said "We're sorry, we don't support this device or operating system". I have a Moto Z Android phone - nothing special. So I clicked on the Tap Here for more options, which brought me to another dead end since it did not have the model listed. I could not run the HP Smart software. I went to my computer to download the software, but ran into the same thing - the software would not load and run. Finally, I found a way to bypass the setup on the printer itself and connect it using my computer. Very cumbersome to have to use an application (that didn't work) to just connect the printer to a network. That being said, once connected, the printer quality and speed made up for the frustration with the installation. The quality is not grainy at all - on the normal print setting (at 600 dpi and up to 1200 dpi) and the speed is impressive at 20 ppm. Even though my setup had issues, which could be related to my phone or slow internet, this is a very good printer for everyday use!

Simple set up and quality cameras

The Swann security system is very simple to set up with easy instructions to follow for installation. It's basically plug everything in, download the app and it's ready. The software was a little cumbersome during the pairing process, but everything went smoothly and connected properly. The Reset and pairing button is under a cover that has two loose screws. I wish this cover was screw-less OR had a tab to open it, but you shouldn't have to access it very often so it's not too much of an inconvenience. The best part of having this "wired" system is that you don't have to worry about keeping the batteries charged. Yet, you can run it on your Wi-Fi network and see it on your phone. The playback clips and live camera resolution quality are extremely good and include night vision. I found how to delete all old clips, but could not figure out how to delete just one clip. That's the only negative thing I can say about this security system and app. The cameras have motion detection, but also heat detection so it won't pick up on branches or other false alarms. They are also weatherproof to work in snow and rain and seem to be very durably constructed. With the app, you can also talk and listen through the camera's and sound a siren to startle intruders. Overall, one of the best security camera systems we've used.

That would be a setting on you computer - under the Sound setting. When you plug in the the earphone jack, it should play back in your headset. If you want to hear it through your speakers, unplug the earphone jack (leave the microphone jack plugged in to record).
