Five stars for the software

This router has a builtin ASDL modem which is compatible with my Bellsouth (AT&T) non-Uverse cdonnection. I refuse to upgrade to the newer U-Verse protocol becuase my house alarm requires a POTS (plain old telephone) connection.
As for the router, the strong point is the software. Netgear Genie allows me to see what's going on with my crazy home network. I can see the TIVO machines and the Smart TV's and my Ipad's and my MacBooks and all that which is comforting.
Now I want to say that the Wireless ac 5G protocol is not strong enough in the bedroom. I had that problem with an Apple Time Capsule router. My wife begged me to disconnect it! Whatever it is, the newer AC protocol doesn't drill through the walls. However, my internet connection is 5Mbs and the older 2.4 GHz b/g/n protocol handles up to 600Mbps so that's no problem.

Mac mini now has fourth-generation Intel Core processors, increased graphics performance, and ultrafast 802.11ac wireless networking. It also features two Thunderbolt 2 ports, great built-in apps, and OS X Yosemite. And it's still the world's most power-efficient desktop.

I bought this as my second Mac Mini. The machine is essentially a MacBook Pro Retina without the screen, keyboard and trackpad. The internal hard-drvie and memory are non-upgradable. I attached an external dual-SSD Raid drive which gives me 750 Mb/sec read time, the same as the MacBook Pro. But that's not a cheap upgrade. The Thunderbolt 2 enclosure sells at a premium. At $300 plus the cost of the SSD's, that's more that the price of the Mac Mini! But I spend a lot of time using it, so it's OK for me.

People have been calling this Tim Burton's X-Men. It's an OK movie but it lacks pizzazz. The last half-hour is the usual Hollywood protacted battle against the villain. Comparing to X-Men: Apocolypse, the latter movie has more character development before the final half-hour battle. But I repeat that Miss Perregrine has some goo-enough moments, especially the pipe-puffing title character.

This review is a cinch. Normally, I avoid all things popular (I'm some sort of "hipster) but this item was on sale and it is dubbed in a dozen languages with subtitles for maybe twenty languages. I listen to this in German whilst walking on my treadmill. It's not like I understand what they are saying but so what? There's Saxon violence. Yes, and an immense wall of ice. That's pretty much all I need to know.
