Na-na-ne-na-na, I bagged this for $24.95! This has the swell included refrigerator magnet which doubles as a paper weight. The disks are in the annoying stacked storage configuration which always scares me when I pry them out. But the show makes up for that. I avoided this series when it was so mega popular and I only bought this set because it comes with a German sound-track which I use for learning German. Unfortunately, the German subtitles don't match the German dialogue but that seems to be the rule with these movies. I think it must be a legal requirement.
Otherwise, the show is all epic and such. And there's a lot of naked people who make this show into a sort of nasty LOTR clone. Well, there's no wizards yet but what can you expect when the author is some guy from New Jersey?

Good enough as a BF deal but...

This is a decent entry-level 4K monitor but not so good at full-price. If you want a really good 4K monitor, then go with the ASUS brand. Screen quality is one thing but adjustable postioning is also quite important.. This Samsung UHD is limited in that regard. Also, the screen source control is a little tricky. There's a sort of joystick thing on the back right hand corner which is so-so. Higher end monitors have four buttons on the side or on the bottom right bevel. Also, there is no built-in USB hub.
But it's an OK device. I use mine for news browsing next to my main rig which is doing my "serious" stuff (Ancestry.com) or whatever. And I have a third monitor connected to my legacy HP desktop which does my e-mail. So, I turn on three rigs and play/work. The legacy PC drives a 1920x1200 ASUS PA248Q which is A-OK for a Windows 7 machine.
Bottom line is I don't regret the purchase but there are better monitos to be had.

The best feature of this premium-priced keyboard is the recharging port. The key layout is the minimal format. I prefer an easy to find enter/return key. This format has six keys on the right side and I have to look for the right one to hit. But it has the Apple cachet which makes up for various quibbles. I put this keyboard and the Magic Trackpad 2 into a keybaord tray that makes the two into a combo type device.

Or if you're into the industrial look. Honestly, who needs an impact resistyent battery pack? The packaging and price lead me to buy this item. But once I got it out of the package, I couldn't quite figure out where the USB ports where and worst of all, the power on button. I think this will sit with my other battery packs. You can buy cheaper and more practical packs than this. But it does have a certain 'zing" in the styling department.

The Magic Mouse 2 is a fabulous product and I recommend it but ever so oftern the mouse picks up a bit of lint and doesn't work. You have to wipe the mouse clean on a regular basis. That's where the Magic Trackpad 2 comes in. I can continue my tasks using the trackpad until I can wipe the mouse. The track pad is "almost" as good as the trackpad on my Macbook Pro. The click works like it should and all else works as it should. Perhaps the click is a bit mushy but it works.
Well, I should add that I have a keyboard/trackpad tray that is a really worthwhile addition since you need a stable surface underneat the trackpad.
And also, I like the easy recharge feature of the keyboard, trackpad and mouse. It's a real show stopper to fiddle with a change of batteries!

This movie has so much more when you listen to it in Italian. Finding the matching Italian language subtitles took some fiddling with my remote. There's a button that takes me to Tools and from there I fiddled some more and found the subtitles. It's a bit of a bother since the spoken dialoge never seems to match the subtitle text. But it's there.

The EVO 850 in the 500GB size is (or was) the gold standard by which all other SSD's are(or were) judged. An SSD was either "almost as good as" or "not as good as" an EVO 850. Of course, times have changed and the new SSD with the direct to processor interface have "ludicrous speed" but I don't know about their reliability or long-life. Besides, my PC's require the older SATA interface. I'm happy with the product.

First off, John Carpenter's The Thing is just as good (some say better) than the original. And then you get Rowdy Roddy Piper as the guy who says things like "I'm here to kick butt and chew gum and I'm all out of gum." He's got these sun glasses that reveal all the nasty (actually, rich and nasty) aliens who have taken over the country. So he blasts them!! Plus, there's a must see fight scene.

My use for these headphones is to listen to TV/Blu-ray while on my treadmill. My setup involves an optical out to headphone converter. Unfortunately, headphone jacks on products seem to be disappearing so I needed a little device that behaves like a soundbar with an optical input.
OK, as for the headphones, they look nice and sound nice. I'm hearing impaired, so I'm not a connoiseur but I do like my tech devices to look nice though. And best of all, I bought the headphones on sale! I can't give them 5-stars because I'm not an expert.
They are plugged into a Micca OriGen+ High Resolution USB DAC and Preamplifier using an optical S/PDIF to my Panasonic 4K video disk player (also a Best Buy purchase.)
