The first shot at making a Hulk film from Life of Pi director Ang Lee comes off as way too serious and dark for its own good with a mixed special effects bag. That's not to say the film is bad. It's an interesting oddity, but just not one would expect a Hulk film to be like.

A Little Weak

After the likes of Hulk, Iron Man and Thor, one would think that a Captain America film would be a bulls eye. Not quite. While the acting is decent, there is little action, and making the Captain come across somewhat like a joke at times. However, the film makes up for it with its visual flair and a strong villain.

An improvement over the 2003 original, the film finds Dr. Bruce Banner contending with the army once more and key comic book villain The Abomination and setting up the Leader for a villain in a potential sequel. While the film could be better, the film still provides plenty of action.

The one that started it all, Iron Man is a film released in 2008 that brought Robert Downey Jr back into the public eye as he portrayed the powerhouse Tony Stark. Action packed and filled with special effects, it's a visual Marvel and I look forward to any Iron Man film in the future.
