While it doesn't have Erik Rutan's raw production, Off The Grid shines in almost every way possible. Some parody bands, the appeal might wear off after a while. Cannabis Corpse actually makes good death metal in the spirit of some other death metal bands they parody like Cannibal Corpse, Deicide, Six Feet Under, Death, Gorguts, etc. Featuring members of Municipal Waste, Iron Reagan, and GWAR. A little more theatrical than the previous two, The Immortal Wars is also Ex Deo's first album with a new lineup. Did I mention they share members with Kataklysm? Anyway, the music is heavier, and like I said, more theatrical. I can't stress that enough. Check it out.
