Better, Cheaper Options Available Elsewhere

Pros: This device is good in that it fully supports 4K and HDR pass through as advertised (my TV uses HDR10, Unable to see how compatible it is with other HDR types). There is no loss to picture quality and no added lag. Device is small enough to hide so that it is out of sight, but looks sleek enough to have out in the open. Easy to set up and all hdmi ports are located on back of device.
Cons: No remote control and no auto switching to inputs with active signal. In other words, you'll need to manually press the select button on the device to change input signals. Lights in front are bright and, therefore, may be distracting if in view. Regular asking price of $50 is a bit high for device with only 3 inputs.
Alternative: There is a similar 4k HDR switch produced by Phillips that is available from Target and a few other places. The differences are that the Phillips device is only $40, it comes with a remote for switching signals and offers 4 inputs. Only setbacks are that one of the input ports are located on the front, and it is said to have difficulty complying with Sony and Apple products. But for what it's worth I've used my PS4 Pro on both switchers for extended periods of time and had no problems with either of them.
Conclusion: Device works well on its own, but I would recommend the Phillips hdmi switch over this one.

Only started watching the set, but the picture quality of the show in HD is excellent (playing on a 4k uhd blu-ray player through a 4k tv). Great value having the full series in one set. Would have preferred the set to be boxed differently, the enlarged 9 disc Blu-ray case seems like it could break somewhat easily.

Great FilM, Not Crazy About Art on Steel Book

The 4K Blu-ray disc features the most high quality version of The Matrix yet. Remastered from the original film negatives, this version is incredibly sharp with deep colors and shadows and darkness do not look greyish at all. This version is also noticeably "less green" compared to the DVD and original Blu-ray releases, so it is now closer to appearing as the filmmakers intended it to.
As for the steel book casing that this edition comes in, the build quality is excellent, no flimsy parts that seem like will break from opening and closing the case regularly. The art itself on the front of the cover is my main gripe. I would have preferred to get the regular case and cover art instead of this, but thus edition had a significant discount over that one at the time of my purchase.

As the title suggests, this game borrows the styles of progression, exploration and world building established by the Dark Souls series. While it also borrows the series' combat style, it manages to feel slightly more hack-and-slash. Bosses are challenging and epic, the art style is alluring and all of the elements together make one immensely satisfying game.
Only drawbacks to this Switch version are that the game appears somewhat blurry in docked mode, and dark areas of the game are difficult to see in handheld mode. Otherwise, I still highly recommend this game and this version of it.

10 years after its initial release, Super Meat Boy still holds up as one of the best platform games of its kind. Stages are short and sweet, but the challenge and speed make the game both addicting and highly replayable. In my opinion SMB controls best on the Switch, especially when playing with the joy-con due to the shorter joysticks allowing you to change direction quicker than you could with taller joysticks. While the digital version is cheaper and more convenient for jumping in and out of the game, the physical version is still a nice addition for the collectors since it's complete with a mini art book/instruction manual and double-sided cover art.

For me the core game was an unexpected surprise. This top down RPG centers around golf as it's core concept, having you not only play traditional rounds of golf but also by using golf to overcome obstacles and help others in the world. The tight and satisfying controls make the gameplay fun while the quirky story and witty writing makes the game hilarious and memorable. And the fact that Best Buy has partnered with Limited Run to bring certain games into stores makes for a great option for collecting these otherwise digital only games.

The developers of this game set out to make an independent game with the performance and visual fidelity of a AAA studio release. Considering how this title features done of the most realistic and impressive visuals this generation, I would say that they succeeded in that goal.
While the game is somewhat short (8-10 hour playthrough), the story is still very much worth experiencing, as it tackles themes of mental illness in ways no other game has, and the performances are poinient and powerful, making the mystic and surreal story still feel real and believable. Though the combat and puzzles don't have the greatest amount of depth, I would still highly recommend this title for the story alone.

3 out of 5Too Dark On Non-OLED Switch

The game itself is a compelling return to form for the Metroid 2D series; the atmosphere is eerie and mysterious, the combat is quick and tense (when you learn to parry properly) and the story is presented well through cutscenes and environmental story telling techniques, blending modern and old school styles into one cohesive package.
My only gripe with this game is that the picture is too dark/dim on non-OLED model Switches in handheld mode. I still own an original 2017 model Switch, so when I went from docked to handheld mode the picture was noticeably darker and dimmer than it seemed it should be. Even turning up the brightness to maximum barely helped the picture appear bright enough on the system's screen. Since this issue is not present in other games like Smash Bros. or Luigi's Mansion, it leads me to believe that this game was designed more so with the OLED model Switch in mind, leaving the game to appear dimmer on older models. So if you are like me with an older Switch, know that you may have similar trouble being able to see the game in hand-held mode.

Looking into getting this review removed

While I'm looking into getting this review removed, I wanted to leave this comment in the meantime for why I'm doing so and to offer some additional info around correcting the brightness issue I had with the game originally.
First and foremost, it turned out my system's auto-brightness setting was the cause of making the game look dark and dull in handheld mode. Once I turned it off and adjusted the brightness myself on the system level, the issue was immediately corrected.
Secondly, I originally intended the rating to be 4 stars, as I still felt the game itself is fun and exceptionally well made. Somehow it saved and uploaded with 3 stars instead, which was not my intention.
As I mentioned before, I will be reaching out to customer service to have this review pulled down for its inaccuracies. But until that request goes through, hopefully this comment helps to correct the errors of my original review.

What is it for, or what can it do?
This device is for “adding” more hdmi ports to your tv or monitor. Example: if your tv has 1 hdmi port, but you have 3 devices you want to plug in, then you can plug the 3 devices into this switch and then plug the switch into the tv. This switcher will work with devices that display in 4K resolution or lower.

If I connect this to a new 4K Samsung smart TV and then plug a Nintendo switch and amazon fire stick into the switch, will it work?
I have used a Nintendo Switch with this device and it works. I do not own an Amazon Firestick, but I have seen posts of other people saying that it does not work.

Do I need to buy extra plugs for the output? I have a cable plug and a Rocu with a plug but does the output plug come with the device?
You will need another 4K capable HDMI cable for the output. This product only comes with the switcher and power cable.

what does it mean 4K and HDH Pass-through. are all of the ports actually 4K? I have a 4k blueray player and 4K satellite dish, but only 1 4K input on my TV.
All three inputs support real 4K. So as long as you plug the device into the 4K input of your TV, then everything will display in 4K. HDR pass through means that if your devices have HDR features and your TV can display HDR, then this device will allow HDR to work. This is advertised because past hdmi switchers have supported 4K, but not HDR.
