Classic filmmaking in its fairest quality ever.

I must admit this purchase was a blind buy. I had always wanted to watch this visiting old classic musicals but this fell by the wayside. It was worth the wait as I experienced this for the first time in its highest quality. Audrey Hepburn and Rex Harrison are fantastic (though Hepburn’s singing voice is substituted). It’s a rather longer musical but you’ll be lost in the cinematography and art direction. The restoration of this film was Herculean. They really should start giving out awards for Restoration teams. The bonus disc is jam-packed with filmmaking education and celebration. Particularly seeing Jack Warner ham it up in the old Golden Age is very entertaining. To top it all off, this was only $17.99. At that price, it was a low risk but ended up being so much more rewarding.

The Better version of Mulan now remastered

Mulan was the next in line to be remastered in 4K to coincide with the live action movie. After being extremely excited to see the live action, it was the original that I rekindled my adoration for. The original animated film is just superior in all ways - pacing, art direction, voice direction and overall heart. This movie looks stunning in HDR colors and booming audio. Also, if you redeem the 4K digital code, you're treated to a Dolby Vision version which enhances the color palette even more. In addition, the understated design of the Steelbook is perfect artistically and not overly photoshopped trying to cram in every single character to appeal to a younger crowd. It's simply one of the more poignant shots in the film for people who've already seen and already love the film. There is disc art on both discs and there is nice treatment on the metal of the steelbook. It's worth full price while it's still available and my choice over the live action film.

The PS5 Version Steelbook is a great companion

This is the second of 2 Mamba Forever editions. This Steelbook is designed to house the PS5 version. It represents Kobe Bryant's second half of his career and subsequent Farewell from the NBA. The design is much more somber with predominantly black design with purple elements. I believe both designs were created by the same painter commisioned by 2K but I prefer the beautifully colored PS4 Steelbook with Kobe in his dynamic pose from his younger days in the number 8 jersey. However, side by side, they are perfect companions and a very fitting tribute from 2K Sports.

I bought both PS4 and PS5 Forever Mamba sets

Hello, my name Andrew and I purchased both PS4 and PS5 versions because I often make idiotic financial decisions. However, I make those decisions so you don't have to. I bought the PS4 version on release date in early September mainly because I wanted the Kobe Mamba edition. As a huge Kobe Bryant fan, I was ecstatic to get this version even for the somewhat overpriced tag. I wasn't get a PS5 anytime soon anyway. Lo and behold, the PS5 version was a completely different Kobe Bryant set complete with different artwork and a different Steelbook. So I bought this version as well. I guess the silver lining is that the PS5 version is a better bargain because it's the same price as the PS4 set at $100 but you get a more expensive PS5 game disc in addition to a digital version of the PS4 game which I already had in physical form. Another bit of silver lining was I was able to give the code to my brother. All in all, I'm glad 2K was able to commemorate my favorite player in two versions. I'd gladly pay any amount.

AT Liens is the second studio album by American hip hop duo OutKast, released on August 27, 1996, by LaFace Records. My favorite OutKast Album

I grew up to 90s Hip-Hop and this continued the line of classic albums that I’ll know the lyrics to my entire life. The entire album you can play start to finish remastered and pressed on two thick vinyls. This may not be their most critically acclaimed album but it’s definitely my favorite. Keep in mind that this does not include the more uptempo radio version of a Jazzy Belle with Babyface. It has the slower album version which I think flows better on the album. The comic book-style cover is iconic. I just wish the paper sleeves that hold the vinyls included the liner notes and pics of Big Boinand Andre 3000 included in the CD leaflets because they were pretty interesting. If you really love this album like me and want to go on a rare search, there are picture disc versions and blue/green vinyls. Then you can just play out this vinyl til it warps. Haha. A-TOWN DOWN!

Great set at the best bargain.

First of all, this is one of the greatest cinematic masterpieces of all time and definitely holds up for special effects from the 50s. If you’re reading this, most likely you’re familiar with this rendition of the Bible stories. I’d like to state that if you’re a huge fan of the movie, there is a larger, much more expensive version complete with goodies. However, if you’d like a streamlined version to fit neatly on the shelf that still contains a comprehensive package of features, you can’t beat this package especially for the price. It is essentially a sturdy Digibook with a decent amount of high quality pages that celebrate both the 1923 and 1956 version. Across 3 discs comes both versions of the movie and a handful of informative features (including a 73 minute documentary), 2 commentaries and photo galleries. Sound and video are impeccable and will provide the best version of the films so far.

Unique Steelbook for a great movie

I’ll spare the review of this movie as this has been re-released several times. This is Best Buy’s 3rd version of Steelbook for this movie. It is the most unique because instead of promotional art, the design consists of Wonder Woman’s shield which wraps around the Steelbook against a metallic looking background complete with Battle damage and scratches. Additionally, it has a bit of gloss on the shield and a smooth treatment on the metal. The Steelbook on its own doesn’t initially scream Wonder Woman but it includes a PET translucent slipcover with an iconic silhouette of the title hero and title. It nicely serves as a traditional looking cover and protection for the Steelbook. This is a very nice set that includes both Bluray & 4K Bluray in addition to a 4K digital code. All in all, a great version of this movie.

Clear & Concise presentation

This is an excellent presentation of this classic movie. It’s not a masterpiece but it is beloved in 90s movies. It was actually the first movie I ever saw in a movie theater as an 8-year old. The “Paramount Presents” line celebrates their line with modestly improved packaging that’s slightly better than the original slipcover treatment and a clear Bluray case in favor of the traditional blue case. As stated, the celebration is concise with special features that give you just enough to make lovers of the film to appreciate the making and celebration of it including a brand new albeit short 6-minute feature looking back on the film in addition to previously released material including an interesting commentary track. Also note that owners of previous releases will find the omission of older bonuses. However, the brightest and most important is the excellent picture which is supposedly remastered from 4K. (Why not just release it in 4K as well? Oh well.). Anyway, the picture is great with the improved detail and color. Best presentation so far. At under $20, this is a great buy that doesn’t overwhelm you with features but instead focuses on the film.

One of my all-time favorite albums. 25 years old

It's getting to be that time when all the albums I grew up with are having 20, 25, even 30 year anniversaries. I dont mind it because it lets me know it has stood the test of time. This was one of my first CDs I ever got as a kid. Ironically, as an adult, I felt the need to buy it as an LP. It makes it feel all that much more "classic" and vintage. The larger picture cover makes it appear that much more important. The writing even has debossing on the cover. A nice touch. The vinyls are heavier and are split between two vinyls which stands the test of time more preventing warping and playing much better on your player. Almost every track on these records brings me back to my youth and I hope always will.

I grew up to Bad Boys...and still growing with it

I didn't expect from this movie but I was gonna watch either way because I'm a huge Martin Lawrence fan and a fan of the Bad Boys franchise. I grew up to them even with the movies being spread so far apart. I can relate to how much they changed. When I finally watched this movie, I was brought back to the same feelings I had from the first two. A different pair of directors is also taking it into new directions. I can see this franchise being made into the next Fast and the Furious franchise with the addition of a younger cast and a new team to work alongside. No spoilers but I see that as a welcome approach especially showcasing the Miami culture in movies. Speaking of Miami, the design of the Steelbook gives off a Miami vibe. It's the perfect package to this movie and matches excellently with the first two Steelbooks if you have them. You'll enjoy this set if you're a fan of the series and action movies in general.
